Inspired by the 2003 Chrysler Airflite concept vehicle that was revealed at the Geneva motor show, the all-new Chrysler Sebring's elegant lines evoke the exterior styling features of the Chrysler vehicle, bringing the Chrysler brand's expressive design attributes to the mid-size segment.
I had a 2007 Sebring from 2008-2016 when I gave it to my sister in law. Body was beat up by my own doing. Best car I ever had, reliable, minimal repairs. Big old tires. Wish I still had it! She sold it after using for a year or two. I still see it on the road occasionally.
I have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring Touring with the 2.7 V6 and it's been a great car, I've only replaced tires, brakes, serpentine belt and tensioner and the original alternator. I get around 30 miles per gallon on the Highway and it's been reliable.
I have had my Sebring touring 2.0TDI for 6 months now and I love it!!! 500€ I paid for it, and no it wasn't as spare parts car, it was useless for a friend of mine and he wanted to get rid of it so I bought it, what a bargain! Small faults were bound to be found as it had been sitting for a year before I bought it, but little fixing can do it. Maybe I will never have such a nice car considering the real value is around 2000€, because I'm poor :D
Rent these while on my USA road trips from the UK, it does the job, no problems, plenty of room in them, not bad gas mileage.
we rented a 2010 limited for a week and loved it!
I like the styling, but why do they keep putting that hard plastic on the top part of the steering wheel?
You guys tested the 2008-2011 Lincoln MKZ? I like all those boring but comfortable mid size luxury american cars, I want to see that video review.
More cars need analog clocks they are so elegant omg i would buy this car just for the clock and the v6 and the dvd lolz

My dad has one. I've driven it, and will probably buy it off him when I get my full license (mid october).

I own one and also have a bad back but I think the firm seats actually help me with my lower back pain, lastly, different strokes for different folks...
besides the cheap plastic i like this car! everyones has their opinions, so i happen to think its great! nothing too fancy which is what they were aiming for. im thinking of getting one :)

I'm from Mexico and I like the Chrysler Cirrus... in Canada this car is called Cirrus or Sebring? Why US Chrysler and Chrysler de Mexico decided to change names since the first sebring model?

while i cant compare an 07' to an 05' (same model), the most "sophisticated" part of my 05' is the stick-on wood grain lol. that aside, the car itself is a decent car like anything else on the road. It looks goods and it gets you from point a to point b and back so long and you maintain it.
@SaabChrysler52 Are they redesigning the sebring soon? I believe that chrysler can make quality products because the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is stunning. So, i hope chrysler takes time on a new design...
I have a '09 and for the price I can't fault the interior. The price compared to Lancer, I get leather, power seats $12K Cash back. Only faults I have is that the bumpers don't fit properly. Front parking sensors go off above 35 celcius.I put it on rear only. The Lancer doesn't have parking sensors and is a lot noisier inside. Even the Cruze is noisier and no climate control/auto seats.My brother swapped his Omega international to get these functions. Can't blame him as the Commorodore sucks.

There's a USB port on the Sat Nav i got with mine. There has to be - it's really the only way u can add new pics from a flash drive.
I agree with the rubbery seats and cryslers are well known for having their ceilings come apart.

wait a while for the 3.5 phoenix... chrysler is planning its release soon....its going to be one of the better engines on the market
I'm pretty sure they come standard with it, but if you get the Navi, oddly, it doesnt come with it..

What the hell are you talking about? A review is supposed to tell you the strengths and weaknesses of something, and whether or not it would be worth buying opposed to other cars.
The way most people see it - What's right with it? Unless you get it from a fleet, there is not even value on its side.

No my dad did not buy it was a hire car he had when started a new job he would never spend that much money on it new as naff car for the money and the deprecation it has in its first year over here is truely horrific. If was about 8k british pounds as seems around in america not bad basic transport for the money I suppose and after a few years suppose you could just scrap it and get a new one but at the price it is at in the UK no one is going to buy it next to a top spec mondeo.

"be more specific."Uh okay, not the way I would have put it. The engines are far less refined, powerful, reliable, & efficient than their counterparts, & are very loud. I think it looks but ugly. Apparently, the steering is poor, the interior is not even acceptable quality, the reliability is poor (neighbor has airbag problems- yikes!) it offers no value over the competition which is all far better. I believe there are 2 major comps of this car v everyone and the Avenger+Sebring placed dead last
the car gets bad reviews because it has low build quality and has had overall bad reliability with consumers.
@SaabChrysler52 Bulls***! The Sebring's sales numbers don't even compare to Accord and Camry. Even Chrysler execs admit this Sebring is a failure!

Yeah, the 2001 Sebring had a much better interior. Thankfully, the 2011 200's interior was very nice.
@17kmgone I am driving one as a rental. Its an aweful car! Slow as hell, the interior is really cheap plastic, and the steering is too light to have any feel.
Any kind of leather is going to make you sweat you cow.
I would like to see something come from Chrysler other than cheap plastic panels stuck to the frame with mashed potatoes. I've got a '95 Sebring and the interior is just peeling away (exposing the ugly glue marks that remind you how cheap it really is). But all in all, i've never seen better strength and durability when it comes to the mechanical parts of the car. If you were considdering buying one just keep this in mind.

15,000 WTF you on about in the UK it retails for 19,000 pounds for the 2.0 crd diesel (which they steal of VW) my dad had for that money you could have a ford mondeo titanium, mazda 6 sport, volvo s40 r design all cars that are vastly superior and at a similar price and I would expect a lot more for the cash when buying with my own money. Yes sure if it cost 10k english would consider but would rather buy a used mondeo etc... than be forced to buy this piece of rubbish.

@17kmgone I actually have driven a car like this a few times. It kinda sucks. European cars kick its ass. It's weak, cheaply made, and a bit ugly. The leather feels cheap, the plastic is awfull, the different pieces of the interior trim are not very well put together. The only thing about this car is that it turns heads here in Europe.

VW build is far better, got test one tap the plastics pannels, they are cheap....

C'mon, man. Nearly every major automotive review firm has trashed this car. I will refer you to CD's recent test of EIGHT of the Sebrings competitors, and the Sebring came DEAD LAST. You can't ignore that.
Also, don't go by if this comment has five thumbs down, because obviously most of the people actually watching this video already own one of these.
This car has a lot of bad press and will be discontinued soon. According to recent news.

Tester clearly does not know much about driving as he says it goes round corners well when it just does not it is woefull we had a day and sent it back it was that bad and the styling is not even that great either he is american though so he would give it a good review just buy a passat or a mondeo for the same money they are far superior in every aspect.
