@@VoltronWattsI ordered the ultimate 5kw kit from electro and co and they are sending me a new model of their kelly controller and they say it has a higher continuous current and can do more volts and it comes with a fan, do you think this will make a difference from the other controller?
The fardriver set up I ran had another 50 amps going in. That set up was more powerful. Maybe in a future episode I run that battery with the ec4p and noisy cricket. Hmmmm 🤔
@@VoltronWatts you rock! Thank you 🙏. In the winter time the packs perform worse at lower temps. Try and get the battery to 25c or more for optimal performance especially if you’re pushing it to its max rating. Take care of your mom for me 😜.
Fantastic video. Been loving the content 😊 Why only 150amps? Was the battery charged and warmed up? Seems to sag more than expected. You’re maxing at 9kw while I’ve done almost 15kw on a 20s battery. You should be getting more at 21s if you have their battery. Crank it with the proper gearing(72t). 4.9 ratio is way too low. Just seems like this test is flawed in too many ways to get good results and draw a proper conclusion.
Yes, battery was charged. I had 72t on there. 4.9 is too low for what? It’s just a test. lol. If you don’t know, EC has two variations of their extreme kit battery. A 150a cont and a 180a cont. I clearly state in writing at the beginning of the episode which battery this is. Also, how is the test “flawed?” You don’t agree with the sag? It is what it is, you don’t believe the battery is charged? It is. You don’t agree with the gearing? I ran the 72t you quoted above. You don’t agree with the power output? I stated what battery is in the bike. Thank you for watching 🤜🤛
Relax. Same team ❤. Maybe put in the title that this is only to test the 150a setup. People may read the title and think it’s a direct comparison to your sotion test you mention in the beginning. In the beginning you seemed like you wanted to do the test to compare it to the sotion. But you ran that at 200 amps. Just doesn’t seem like a fair comparison. Maybe throw the same battery on the bike and make sure it’s under similar conditions. Like the battery temps can result in lower performance for example. Regarding the gearing, your 52t sprocket seemed to perform worse all around. Slower times and lower top speeds. Least from what I could see from the data. This is why I say it’s too low of a ratio. Just trying g to save people from overheating their setups thinking they will have a higher top speed when they might not or worse, have lower performance all around.
I Gotch ya. See you edited your original post. You have been critical in some of my other videos and I havnt said anything. I can take criticism and or feedback no problem. But when you say the test isn’t valid based on XYZ and I address each of those points… that’s where I’ll push back. The title of the video is exteme kit draggy. Not FW11 vs Ec4p. Mentioning the Sotion video is an opportunity for the viewer to seek out said video if they didn’t know it existed. And after that point I never mentioned the FW11 again. 🤙 As far as the gearing, it’s a test, it’s information and a data point when compared to other data points. You’re right, it did perform worse in this test (54/11) this was a 330’ and 1/8 mile test not a top speed test where the results could have and probably different and the 54/11 would offer a higher top speed over a longer course. I plan on throwing the 240amp cont. battery on the ec4p/ noisy cricket set up. This video wasn’t that. Maybe you should start a YT channel! 😂😂 But seriously tho, thank you for watching and commenting. I do enjoy a little debate now and then. 🍻🚀
@@VoltronWatts a bit ago. Was actually typing it as I watched 😂. Sorry for the confusion. Love ya ❤️❤️. I just get a bit nerdy when it comes to this stuff.
@@VoltronWatts Got it. Thank you. I'm planning on modding a razor. What are your thoughts on the electro and co extreme kit vs the swing arm with the fw01. Also I'd say your channel has been the most helpful out of anyone in this space so thank you.
I appreciate you watching and commenting broski! 👊 the E&C kit is my favorite razor bolt in kit. The FW01 is a great motor but you can’t really compare the two. It’s not apples to apples of that makes any sense
@@VoltronWatts In what sense is it not apples to apples? Just difficulty of install? Also it seems like these short quick runs are more limited by the fact it's impossible to keep the front wheel down. So is the only advantage of the sotion higher top speed?
I’m not missing a episode 👏🏾😎🔥👍

how come it only hits around 10kw when it's supposed to peak at 14kw
This is the 150amp max battery. E&C has a 180amp battery that will get you that extra juice for the 14Kw 👌
