Thank you so much, this is what I needed to learn, regarding the wavy wire. I'm going to buy the Vevor 6000 amp spotter, your video has been the decider !
I hope it works out for you . I haven't had any problems with mine. I think it's a year old now. It is a china product tho . I figure I've already go my money out of it. Thanks for the support!
Awesome work chris!..that g90 is great, I’m going to have to get my hands on one of these!..can’t wait for the shrinking metal video..one of my cars has a dented roof that I want to tackle that has that oil can effect..
My only suggestion here is throw away 36grit roloc discs, well keep em, but for this application use a scotch brite roloc, sheet metal on modern vehicles is already thin enough, but also you want the dent puller electrode to attach to not only clean but smooth metal. Not saying the 36 grit doesn’t work but it’s just better practice using scotch brite disc and cleaner work if you’re not trying to actually remove metal material.
That will be coming in next weeks video. It's a good question. Since starting this channel, I've really had to think about how and why I go about a repair in order to share the best way to explain the process.
I don't but I can do a quick break down in a future video. I do have the anchors , post and chain fall in my Amazon store if you want to check them out. www.amazon.com/shop/garagenoise
good afternoon, I have a question for you, I bought a new machine and when I try to weld with the triangle it does not weld, I have it at 1.8 what am I failing
I'll see if I can help. First make sure the metal is clean. When grounding it the ground should be reasonable close to where your workin ( 1-3 feet) one other thing I've found is lightly apply the tool to the panel don't put pressure on it. It works better that way. Also , when you start pulling with the slide hammer start with light hammers it pulls better that way. Hopes this helps!
Just bought one of these. Not enough power to ground itself to brand new 20 guage melal out of the box. I tried cleaning it.. then also tried into wall no extension cord... then i used a vice grip tp clamp and wouldnt weld in all 7 setrings even in max voltage.. very dissapointed! Sending back to amazon
Hi Chris, I have a question about your magnetic ground. Does it tack weld itself to the metal surface? Or does it easily lift off when you remove it? I have a magnetic one similar to the supplied one, but mine still tacks itself on. Thanks /John
My experience is, it's holding up well. I use it on almost every job that comes in. Not the perfect tool but inexpensive and it gets the job done. Appreciate the comment and support!
tOo bAd tHe tRuCkS vAlUe wAsNt wOrTh hAlF tHe wOrK dOnE 😂🤦🏼♂️ so you’re saying you’d charge over 25k for the bedside repair and refinish? I’m all for getting paid for every single operation and paid for quality not quantity but you’re smoking crack if you actually think this would deem this truck a total loss.
I have just bought this tool and have to say it’s truly amazing. I wish I had bought one of these years ago

Great work! How do you manage to "preserve " the original body line?
That will be coming in next weeks video. It's a good question. Since starting this channel, I've really had to think about how and why I go about a repair in order to share the best way to explain the process.

If it does tack to the metal it comes off easy. I don't think it does.
After more than a year of you using the G90, how well is it holding up?
My experience is, it's holding up well. I use it on almost every job that comes in. Not the perfect tool but inexpensive and it gets the job done. Appreciate the comment and support!
Do you think this will work on the thicker metal of a convertible quarter panel
Yes it will
Curious to know how much this cost to repair
I don't remember exactly but I'm thinking $2,000
