    I have watched several videos on this stitch. Yours is the first with such detail at the end of the rows. You show a nice edge for the project i am choosing to create. The finished edge is very important.

    I watched your tutorial & learned a lot. My sampler rolls in a ball. What did I do wrong?

      Thanks Alba! I have amassed a bit of a hoard of hooks at this point. I love my new organizer for them. A friend gifted it to me for Christmas! Isn't it the best!?

      Hello Alba, Thank you so much for watching! Yes it is the "basic" tunisian stitch. I love this colour too! ALL GREEN EVERYTHING!

    HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR WORK FROM CURLING UP

    What if you are doing a big blanket with over 100 chains, like 160 or more? Do they make long hooks for this style of crocheting?

    I love Tunisian. I have been trying but it always comes out lump sided.

      tension, but also soaking them in water and pinning them down/ironing on low helps

    Mine keeps curling

    • @LastMinuteLaura
      @LastMinuteLaura  Рік тому

      So did mine Laney. I fixed it by tugging and pulling and flattening it out along the way, and ultimately by blocking it in the end. To keep a final item from curling: crochet a border, or reverse the stitch for the last row, so offset the rolling to one side. Good luck!

    Afghan refers to the country of origin, not to a blanket.
