Cosmo got a new cage and this is her reaction to the cage. She has come a long way of her fears and I am very proud of her that she has stepped onto the new cage within 5 hours.
She's being cautious, it's so big now. African Grey's are naturally scared of everything at first, getting new toys, new foods, just takes time. My grey will be 33 in November.
Well, yes, but not each African Grey has a traumatic past, I can only imagine how this adds up. I don't know Cosmo's story yet, but I am sensing some trauma, also from the state of her features(which are, btw, starting to grow back, or maybe growing first time in a proper way, beautifully now)

I hope so too but reality sets in and most likely will stay the same as she is now. Either way I love her very much and she will continue to see her avian vet every few months to make sure she is healthy.
