It's not any different, I just did this install in my '24 Powerboost. You can pry up the bracket for the lines and get a low profile ratchet or wrench in there. Added maybe 5 extra minutes for me.
2022 F150 crew cab 4x4 with a 5.0 here- this kit raised my front about 1.5". I'm at 40" to the fender in the front and 42" to the fender in the back, that's with 34x12 tires. I have the actual fox coilover spanner. I jacked up the truck, removed the wheels, and tried to raise the front. It's not possible with the shocks on the truck. Ride quality is stiffer than stock, and stiffer than the Bilstein 5100s I have on my 2018 F150 5.0 4x4.
@@socalpilotjin3720 I ran ICON on a 17' F150 SCREW 4x4 with 35x12.5x17s for 3 years. Some things were notably rough, example. NITTO TerraGrappler Mud tires would be a very uncomfortable ride if not rotated about every 4-5k miles. I always knew when it was time because driving around town was filled with vibration. So, FOX and Icon is sensitive to that small chatter stuff. Icon and FOX use similar shock tech, harsher than stock on the streets but you will love blasting through street dips without lifting the pedal and anytime you're on a washboard road our in the bumps it's great. Having ridden in a F150 Crew Cab on 35" with the Billstein 6112 2.5" level I can say hands down, it's the best ride I've felt for any truck that's spending more time on road than off...and that's like 95% of us. Good luck! :)
Why didn't we see the, "Lower Spring Perch to be adjusted 5/8 of an inch down the strut shaft?". Description says to do that for our 2021 F150. How is that done?
That's literally why I watched this video. I figured I'd give it a shot without lowering at 5/8, but it's and inch higher in the front than the rear now..
I installed this on my 23' F150 with 35's and now the front end feels much less stable than before. At highway speeds, if I go over a bridge overpass it wants to wander. Any ideas?
I hear you. We prefer doing reviews as well, but since I was going to have to install the kit either way I figured we might as well shoot a video on it. There will be a review coming down the road though.
If you search around there are videos on the driving difference. There is a notable difference off-road in a positive way, especially when driving faster on 2 track trails. The ride improved on the highway. I can’t remember which video I saw, but there are a couple out there, just search for them.
Hey Noah! What’s the stance on the truck? Is it leveled out or does the front now sit a little higher than the back? I’m thinking of doing the Fox package, with maybe some larger Halo Lift block in the back? Thoughts?
Hey Freddy! The front gained 2.25" of lift and the rear is at stock height. It sits close to dead level, but there's just a tiny bit of rake, which I like because it keeps the truck from going nose up when we load the bed. A slightly larger block in the back wouldn't be a bad idea if you tow or haul frequently.
The 2.3" spacer is just a bit taller. Our Fox kit ended up sitting at 2" of lift, but I prefer the Fox system overall because it provides a better off-road ride than the spacers. Hope that helps!
Hate to be that guy to ask....but is torquing the fasteners with a torque wrench not a thing for these installs? Seems I saw paint marks on some of the nuts which would indicate a torque + turn setting at least. Thanks!
So I’ve been doing some forum digging, I’m finding the Torque Spec on that 36 mm nut is 250ft-lbs. Also states it has to be toughened to spec in continuous rotation. With a note that it should be replaced once original removed. Could you detail your experience you had with your 36mm? I got Bilstein 5100’s and was hoping to install in the next few weeks, thanks!
I prefer dropping the LCA, but Fox typically likes for us stick to the install methods they show in their instructions, so I kept things a little more "textbook" for this one.
Hi, please i just installed a fox 2.0 suspension on my 2020 F150. To my surprise, the shocks give me more than a 2 inch lift at the front. This situation has made the front pitch upwards making the truck look awkward. Could anyone help?.
Fox prefers that we stick to the install methods they show in their instructions, but you could absolutely drop the LCA like we did for our pervious install.
The kit we installed is 4WD specific, but Fox does also make a 2WD kit that would install essentially the same way. Here's the link for you: www.stage3motorsports.com/fox21stage1rwd-21-22-f150-rwd-fox-stage-1-package.html
Great video. Couple of questions if I may. 1) what is avg expected cost to have this professionally installed, and assume it includes alignment and re-calibrated safety sensors? 2) According to Roush, my 2021 F150 Lariat FX4 5.0 liter requires a "5/8 perch adjustment;" is that going to have any impact? 3) Assume my OEM tires (275/60R20) can remain and still maintain right fit and even be appropriate in terms of look etc? Thank you!
Noah, saw your vid and thought why not, Now, “With that being said,” I decided not to put in the Coilover Suspension Leveling Kit. So, “with all that out of the way,” I’ve decided to go fishing instead of watching UA-cam vids. Now, once again……….“With all that being said,” I will probably be using power bait with a size #8 hook. Might pickup a dozen night-crawlers too. And, once again, “with all that out of the way,” I’ll be taking us to the lake in my 2022 F-150. And finally, “With all that totally out of the way,” what do you like to do on your off time besides making UA-cam videos Noah….? If you don’t want to share, that’s ok. Going fishing.

Could you guys do a part 2 with a Powerboost model? Different animal with the high voltage lines in the way on the passenger front.

Thanks gents I had this exact wuestion
Same install steps…
Are the alignment specifications (camber, caster, toe, etc) to hit that are different than factory?
Can these be adjusted while on the truck? Can’t seem to find a spanner wrench for it.

Do these ride real rough like the bilstien 2.0s? If so what do i need to switch to for a softer ride ,do i need ro go to 2.5s or what
Hey Noah what is the purpose of loosening the axle nut?
I installed this on my 23' F150 with 35's and now the front end feels much less stable than before. At highway speeds, if I go over a bridge overpass it wants to wander. Any ideas?
I would be more interested in a vedio that shows how much better it rides,or if theres any difference at all.
Agree a driving review please? You have lots of off-road driving reviews with the smaller/midsize trucks but not as many with full-size trucks.

Sweet! By rake you mean in the front right? That’s what I’m looking for. Thanks boss!
2.25 is all you gained after settling or is there still 0.25” left on it?
The link to this kit requests options for UCA joints. Are they necessary for this install?
What is the cv axel angel like with the fox 2.0 leveling kit installed
2022 f150
I can’t get the bottom bolts to line up
Much better just loosening the axle rather then messing up the alignment more by removing the lower control arm will definitely be doing it this way
Noah, which one sits higher in the front the 2.3" spacer or fox 2.0 and by how much? Which one would you choose? Thanks
The 2.3" spacer is just a bit taller. Our Fox kit ended up sitting at 2" of lift, but I prefer the Fox system overall because it provides a better off-road ride than the spacers. Hope that helps!

He uses a torque wrench about 3/4 thru the video.
Great video, does this produce an extreme angle on the CV axles?
I found it made mine fairly extreme, w/ ~2.5" of lift. Ripped a boot
My upper control arm knuckle will not go back in idk why
Do these have to be adjusted before installation, or are they 2” level out of the box?
They are 2 out of the box
Great Video. Can I adjust the coil overs on the truck?
Yes, they are adjustable
Why would you purchase this over a regular leveling kit from say readylift?
Fox is better quality IMO.
Wish you hadn't skipped over the very important removal step if there's a spacer.
I ordered these for my 22 Ram 1500... Do they come preset from FOX for a two inch lift?
No, they get close but usually it's +/-1"
Just to note, we installed this on a 2022 F150 lariat and it had a 36mm axle nut.
That is a huge difference! The one they removed in the video was tiny!
@@daveharness70 we had to run to the parts store to get the axle nut socket. Good thing we had a second vehicle.

Need to remove from truck, compress spring, loosen collar and lessen the preload. SPC makes a kickass spring compressor for this.
After this install I’m having some weird steering and vibration issues.
Why aren’t you removing LCA like the spacer install, especially since you’re installing cam bolts?
