- Your truck’s original equipment shocks work in conjunction with other suspension components to cushion the impact from bumps, potholes, and uneven roads, while allowing you to maintain traction and control. Though that is fine for the types of driving conditions most people encounter, they are not optimized for performance driving and off-road use. Aftermarket options, like the Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Performance Series line of shocks, can improve your ride’s cornering and straight-line driving capabilities at higher speeds and allow for more predictable handling during off-road driving.
When we started working on our Ford F-150 project vehicle, we selected a set of Fox 2.0 shocks for both the front and rear to upgrade the truck’s performance to match its looks. We used the company’s coilover IFP shocks for the front of the vehicle and IFP smooth body shocks for the rear, each designed to give the vehicle 2 inches of additional lift. In this video, we walk you through each step of the complete installation.
The Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Performance Series shocks used on our F-150 are designed to deliver race-proven performance in a hassle-free, bolt-on package. Each features a shaft made from hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel and a race-developed, high-flow piston design. Fox 2.0 shocks offer application-specific valving to maximize on- and off-road performance for your model of truck. Order your own on SummitRacing.com today!

"Pay attention to your lines to make sure nothing is under tension". 5 seconds later, puts tension on the ABS and brake lines lol.
I've never seen a truck so clean underneath lol looks it came right out the factory
Good work Guys! You are well done! FOX - the Best!
Great video and a great upgrade for any truck. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you!
Can you list the torque specs?
You’re one of the few I’ve seen that leaves the brake calipers on. I figured they could stay on- clearly they can.
Thanks for watching!
I tried some Fox Coil-overs from BDS. Great for city driving but terrible for out on the trail. Now running imported Koni HT Raids at half the cost and way better!
How are they on the road and off
Would be nice to have all the torque lbs for all the nuts even wheels
Hi, can you give the list of the correct torque for the screws. Thanks
hi, can u list all the correct torques on all those screws? thank u
That fx4 has the same rims as my stx.
Wish they made these for the 2wd f150
upper ball joint looks like its asking for some help. At what point or at this point 2.0 lift do you need new upper control arms? before you are stranded in the desert.
Great video what's the size of the tires on that truck
How is the ride quality on these and does the upper control arm change the cv axel angle and how is the build quality on these holding up to salt and winter weather
What’s the torque specs for all that? You never said them out loud .
how much does the 2.0 lift the car?
What tire size can fit on my 2020 F150 Lariat FX4 without any rubbing, I will get the M-18000-F15AA kit installed. BFG KO2: 1) 285/60 R20 or 2) 285/65 R20 or 3) 295/60 R20 [using the stock rim that come with the Lariat special edition] ?? Thanks...
Hi Gill,
Being that kit will net you 2” of lift up front, we wouldn’t recommend going over a 33” tall tire.
Why do all lift kit videos start with some variation of this song? Not an insult, just an observation.
does anyone know if after installing these shocks with stock uca, do the uca come in contact with the springs?
Anything over 3inch that’s when you worry about UCA impact of the strut spring
Are these smoother off-road vs regular Fox 2.0?
We installed FOX Performance Series 2.0 IPF shocks which has a great on road feeling but they are intended to provide a great off-road feel with predictive off-road handling. Each application specific shock has specific valving for that application to ensure the best performance and handling.
Can you fit 33 inch tires, after this upgrade?
Yes - we put 275/60-20 to be specific, which is 32.9” overall.
Which Milwaukee impact are you using

Thank you for watching!
I have a 2.5 front leveling kit do i hace to take it off?
Yes removal of your previous leveling kit is required for these Fox Racing 2.0 Coilovers as these replace your whole strut assembly. Thanks for watching !
Does this work for the RWD as well?
The front coilovers are only available for the 4wd. The rear shocks are available for 2wd trucks.
FRS-985-24-029 for 0-1” lift
FRS-985-24-193 for 4-6” lift
arent the rears on upside down
Lol yes they didnt put the mud gaurds on the rear either.
Fox shocks recommends to install them that way
@@luoskrad666 +1
