A question. Near the start of the video I notice on the Stock Ford shock you mention the shock guard, which I assume helps keep dirt and grime away from the piston rod that goes up and down inside (not sure if piston is the right word), but on the Fox, under that coil over, I see no such guard, so should I be concerned about dirt and grime getting into the thinner piston rod? Could you explain that to me? Also, can you explain how those threads work, make it better? In any case, loving all your videos, and how much I am learning by watching them over time.

I have those same light up emblems on my truck but I couldn’t figure out which wires to tap into for the rear one. Would you happen to know which wires I can tap into for the rear emblem?

When you run the truck with 35s, do you remove any crash bars? Is there any rubbing with suspension articulation?

Would progressive leaf springs along with the FOX 2.0 system make the ride superior and keep the same payload? Or is that just overkill and not worth it? I ask because the Carli system for the SD has that option and people say it's night and day difference.

Just leveled my '22 Black Lariat chrome package with 2" Readylift level kit and Nitto ridge grapplers 295/65/20 tires on stock wheels... Took your advice and wow... night and day. No rubbing, no nothin', just a beefy looking truck with only these two mods... eventually took off the boards and it looks even better. Drives great, quiet with tight steering, and stands tall among other stock f-150's.

      Offset?

Can you lift an suv, the GM GMC Yukon Denali or AT4 or the Cadillac Escalade, or maybe a Chevy Z71, lift them maybe 2" or so, put bigger, thicker rubber tires on them, and still have the magna ride and adjustable air ride suspension work great and not lose any range? Currently they can go 1" down from their 8" normal height minimum road clearance for easier entry/exit, and up to 2" above normal, to 9" in 4H and 10" in 4L. Maybe get a bit of an offset too. I'd love to make them a tad more off road capable, and look better, without sacrificing their on road performance and comfort. And the bigger, thicker rubber tires would hopefully add an inch or two to the normal 8" minimum road clearance height, adjusting down or up from there post modifications, and likely absorb the bumps of the often times rougher roads out West here in mountainy ski country. Is any of this doable, can you do it, and is it a good or bad idea? I can call for a larger discussion, but maybe give me some idea(s) here? Thanks. Love your F150 Coverts by the way. If I go the F150 route, that's where I would start with you. But I want to learn what is possible with the suv's before I make that final decision.

Unless you're a pro offroad racer, you don't need Fox suspension. I installed a Rancho 2.5" leveling kit on my 2004 FX4 along with rear shocks for about a third of the price for the Fox products. I travel to AZ each winter for fun in the desert and the Rancho suspension works great.
