Especially considering where you’re shot in the face. They call it the “dumbbell of death” but it’s shaped like a capital I, starts at your sternum, follows up in a thin line along your spine and arteries in your neck, and only spreads out at your eyes. Shoot someone in the dumbbell and its guaranteed death, anywhere else, even if it’s in the head or neck, as long as it’s not in the dumbbell of death, it’ll only be a minor injury surprisingly enough. I’ve seen friends survive shots to the mouth and cheekbones and survive.

Yeah I saw a video about the making of this move and one thing they talked about is the amount of research they did to be sure the gunshot in the cheek was realistically survivable.
I don’t get the hate for this movie. First one was phenomenal and I thought this one was as well. Super excited for the third movie I get some of the critiques and people wishing it was the same director. Just didn’t take away from my enjoyment, I was legit out of breath by the end of the movie
The screenplay was my main issue with it. There was a sense of grounded realism in the first movie that kept me immersed. This one and the scenario it played out felt like a bad Tom clancy novel written by an armchair general. From what I read about this movie was that Sicario and Day of Soldado were originally 2 separate scripts for 2 separate movies. The studio picked Sicario and with a lot of tweaking from the director and Benicio Del Toro made that into a masterpiece of filmmaking. Day of soldado was made because the studio just wanted to cheaply capitalize on Sicarios success. To make an analogy Sicario is akin to First Blood while Day of Soldado is akin Rambo: First Blood part 2. Where the second movie completely missed the point and subtlety of the first movie in exchange for dumb down spectacle and action sequences.
This time it's valid. This is a good action flick. I have 0 problems with it but the original? This wasn't even filmed as well. They could've at least brought over the location scout. Just that alone made this film weaker.
Both movies plots are "we're going into Mexico to start a war between cartels." In the first movie we're take along that experience with them as they execute their plans flawlessly. This is essentially another iteration except their plans are foiled and they're forced to adapt. This isn't a direction issue, it's just not the best screenplay by Taylor Sheridan.
Brolin said he really wants to do a third one but the industry is moving away from these mid budget movies. Nowadays it's either indie movies or big superhero blockbusters.
The way he handles business is not scary. We NEED these people. These people are what keep all of us safe and they do it for shit government pay just because they love their country. God Bless the people who do this kind of work every single day without being asked to do it.
yeah... the intro to this one, imo atleast, matched if not topped the first movie. I had that exact dumbfounded "holy shit, they went there" reaction lol
The girl who played Isabel was portrayed by the actress Isabel Merced. She's also in Madam Web, Sweet Girl and Transformers: The Last Knight. I thought I recognized her. Her face looked really familiar. And I agree with you as well. She's a phenomenal actor. I feel like she's one to look out for. I wouldn't be surprised if she continues doing action films for years to come. She's already acted with Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Mark Wahlberg, Jason Mamoa and Dakota Johnson. She's about to turn 23 this July. Just WOW.
It’s worse then that even. They ARE the government and have been for the majority of its existence. Whenever we hear about the Mexican government “cracking down” on cartel activities it’s really just the cartels trimming the fat to keep the US content with believing that something is being done.
Josh Brolin was rightfully impressed with Isabella Merced's acting in this movie, but she actually impressed me first in the ridiculous "Dora and the Lost City of Gold." She was able to deliver the silly dialogue (and even sing a song about digging a hole to poop in) with complete sincerity and commitment that I thought "This girl is brilliant."
I think it is a stand alone movie, rather than a sequel, not as good as Sicario but not a bad movie, there was rumours of a 3rd one with Emily Blunt returning….
@@dailycarolina. actually never thought of that, is there any evidence of this? doing a bit of googling seems to neither confirm nor deny, typical CIA!!
The coincidence was pretty solid. He and Del Toro stared at each other for several seconds and Del Toro's face is pretty disrinct. The first Sicario is about a successful mission. This one is abour a failure. And it shows how something so small can fuck up an entire operation.
Alejandro is such a complicated and complex character, I almost had a panic attack during THE scene because of how real it looked. My husband definitely didn't expect that reaction ahah.
People complained that Part 2 was not as good as 1, but they are two different films. The first was more of a procedural where as the second was a character study. Both brilliant. Taylor Sheridan is a brilliant writer. Good review by you two. Thanks
The movie worked for me because of Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro and Isabela Merced's acting. The script doesn't convincingly support or earn the changes the characters make, but the performances make me want to believe it enough that my own head canon fills in the character development gaps.
Think of the segmented story as levels of influence or degrees of involvement. It's a snap shot of how vulnerable people get absorbed into criminal activities. The young boy exhibited signs of regretting his choices (jumping off the back of the truck), after shooting Alejandro. But within a year he's fully committed to the cartel. I feel Alejandro is recruiting his replacement at the end. I'm also hoping for a third installment. Great movies.
Dude, stop trying to judge this movie based on the last one. It’s a different story, which is why Emily Blunt isn’t in it. The last movie Blunt was the fulcrum, in this one the girl is. Brolin and Benicio are parts of their story.
I think the girl's situation was living in a mansion without either her father the cartel leader--or her mother who lives in the States. There are all kinds of staff attending to her--but she has no sense of family. This could have been better as a sequel. I still hope that with the closing there still may be another movie.
She clearly has sense of the family. She knows who her Father is. She knows who Alejandro is. She said "You're the guy who's family they killed." So she clearly isn't ignorant of the whole situation. Hell, she basically dared the principle to expell her knowing he couldn't expell her because of her Father
@@liljackypaper Yes the daring the headmaster to expell her is the only sense of power she has. Neither of her parents live with her. That takes a toll on a child --being raised by staff. She understands her father and his business but not from an insider perspective. More an outside observer. I wondered if the mother moved to the States to avoid something more nefarious. Sounded pretty grim for a single child all alone in a mansion.
Sicario and Sicario Day of the Soldad are my two favorite movies over the past 20 years. I've seen both more than 20 times, each and am wondering if a 3rd movie, which has been delayed by studio complications will be made.
The rapid fire pistol shot being in the trailer was what convinced me I didn't need to waste my time with this movie without you two providing the entertainment value. xo
First movie had better writing. One of the best directors working today. Best cinematographer of all time. Amazing score by the woman who also did Joker's score.
In the first one people think Alajandro is water boarding the captured guy but it clearly shows the dry drain in the floor and the untouched jug of water. Alejandro was forcing his you know what in his mouth. SICK SCENE.
@@johnbrown8570 Blunt gets told off by Brolin. shes no where near that scene. The dry drain and full jug of water isnt an accidental insert shot...coupled with a man gurgling. Benicio is violating that man under Cartel prison rules for snitches.
Most people think that because it’s what happens. Not a forced rape. We understand that there is going to be torture and that Alejandro plans to waterboard. That’s doesn’t mean a beating giant also take place. Alejandro get so close to invade the guys space. He’s making the captured guy uncomfortable just by being in his space. He does the same thing to Jon Bernthal’s character.
So the reason why this movie isn't as well received as the first one is because the first one had a deeper message. Yes they both have really good action scenes but the sequel is surface level and people really didn't like the abrupt ending. I think Sicario is better as a stand alone movie than as a part of a trilogy. Now the 3rd movie, if we ever get it, could tie everything up nice and neat and bring closure, but it has its work cut out for it.
The daughter knew what her dad did, that's why she told the head master to go ahead and kick her out, because she knew he knew who her dad was. That's why she said she didn't think so
You should do Soderburgh's Traffic with Del Toro, Michael Douglas, Don Cheedle and Catherine Zeta Jones. Realistic view of four stories around the drug trade.
2018 was a great year for Josh Brolin. This movie, Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 not only were premiered few weeks apart but also they did very well in the box office .
This movie was so good, different than the first with the approach, and what a dark and cold beginning ! The border, the attack and one of the best yet short special forces scenes
YES! I just watched your reaction to the first Sicario and was hoping you’d react to the second. Score! I loved this one. That opening scene with the bombs is insane! And Alejandro rapid firing that handgun is nuts. I’ll never forget seeing both of those scenes in theaters.
I liked this movie because it shows the absolute mess the war on drugs (and human trafficking) often is. A movie about that whole chaotic world needs to also feel chaotic. You are not wrong in your analysis. But the performance from the young gril is remarkable. She is unlikeable in the beginning as the entitled daughter of a drug lord, but you build empathy for her as you see the world she is a part of. I think it's very intentional that the story with the girl ends because if she is put in protective custody, she would just disappear. And the ending (to me) is that they were recruiting the son of the drug lord to be an informant or insider.
@@NikkiStevenReact I believe the story could have been better but I think that they were trying to set this one up for sequels. This reaction channel is one of the best.
The soundtrack to Sicario 2 was made by Hildur Guðnadóttir. Icelandic cellist, producer and composer. She also did the soundtrack for Joker and Chernobyl. She is amazing ❤ Wind River movie must be next! 🙂
I loved this one. Its a different story. It was not a coincidence. They are two stories that converge. They showed you the American politics to show you how messed up this is. These movies are more episodic and completly different. Stories. I cant wait for the 4th one.
One thing that I have learned from real good writers and I’m talking real good writing of a movie is that if you’re watching a film and you’re feeling confused or anxious or disoriented about the storyline you can bet the house that they are making a follow up. Part 3 in this case And guess what ? They’re rumors that it’s going on now, I can’t wait for its release.
I look at this movie as more of a slice of life look into CIA, homeland security, and cartel operations. Political narratives and false intel totally screwed over the frontline operatives and they were supposed to just take it on the chin and move on to the next operation. Alejandro talking to the kid about being a sicario is him giving the kid the option to live vs executing him where he stands. He sees the kid as more a product of his environment and is taking an opportunity to shape him into something more than a coyote or thug.
Didn’t even have the desire to watch this movie until I saw the comments on your reaction to the first one. Just got done watching this so I could now watch your reaction to it. Personally, I thought it was pretty good. Maybe didn’t have the same amount of high-stakes decisions and gore as the first one but I didn’t mind. For its storyline I thought it was good. I only wish we could have gotten Isabel seeing/finding out that Alejandro did actually survive. Felt like she started to feel safe with him and realized he most likely wouldn’t hurt her.
The best thing about the first two movies is the music and cinema photography. I hope they bring Emily back for the third movie and she’s the one with the government that Has to reach out to the same people she wanted to put behind bars
So many things wrong with this movie. You can start with, how did < putting Kate down with bullets and then saying "Don't ever point a gun at me again", and taking out a whole family because the Father took out yours > in the first movie, turn into < getting shot in the head and left for dead, and then taking absolutely no revenge when you have the opportunity, and infact doing the opposite, saying "so you wanna be a Sicario" > in this movie ?????????????????????????
Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
Regarding the Narco kids... in the first movie Alejandro kills the two boys not just for vengeance, but because they would likely inherit the family business and were already entrenched into that lifestyle to some degree since they lived close with their Kingpin father. They would have been loose ends out for revenge in a couple of years no doubt about it. Isabelle was different though, she lived in her own mansion with servants. She knew what her family did, but didn't seem to be directly involved and just a beneficiary of it, basically kept out of most of the loops. Kind of like an inside outsider. In any event, Alejandro saw something of his own daughter in her during his time securing her border passage at the deaf couple's house or even before that, but after that scene he was committed to keeping her safe. It's a well done flip-flop of the narrative between the two movies. Additionally, the first movie's mission is deemed successful while this one's fucked sideways halfway through. They're both a nice dichotomy or whatever you'd want to call it. The story felt like a mess compared to the first film because the mission was fucked. The first movie was portraying a successful mission where everything makes sense when you know all of the information. And Benicio/Denis didn't doctor the script this time. The whole thing with the bombing feeling unconnected is intended. We were so sure we had all the pieces to the puzzle and were making the right call, but it turns out the entire illegal OP was founded on faulty intel and they had to completely sever all ties to it. 36:30 Convenient is a good way to put it. There's no realistic way Miguel recognized Alejandro in that scene, that should have been shot differently for it to actually work. Alejandro was being backlit by headlights directly behind him while wearing a cowboy hat, no chance the kid saw any facial features at night and from a distance. That isn't how light & shadow work.
There is a lot that's wacky about Alejandro's survival in this film. Just one off the top of my head: with the amount of blood loss he has been experiencing for what is portrayed to be hours, if not the entire night and into the next day, is going to massively dehydrate him. Add that to laying out all day in the desert sun, plus clambering up the side of the crater, plus the trek to the vehicles...I'm not gonna say it would be impossible, but highly unlikely that someone survives that. Just to add another wrinkle, you can add to his dehydration the fact that they wrap his head in duct tape tighter than a mummy, so even if he is breathing, he is able to get very little oxygen, and adding the desert heat, if he doesn't die of dehydration/blood-loss, he is dying of suffocation while comatose. All that said, though, Benicio does such a great job in that whole sequence, that he really makes you feel how dreadful he is likely feeling. Especially as he drives down the road, you can really sense the pain/weakness/nausea he is probably feeling.
I prefer this movie. I think its possible the kid could recognize the guy. Same screenwriter. There was no coincidence. The story was following the boy -- he crossed paths with Alejandro twice near the border. So?
The opening scene…NOW IMAGINE WHAT’S COMING ACROSS THE BORDER SINCE 20JAN21…IN THE THOUSANDS. We are now one of those innocent people in the market. REALITY…😳😳😳
Sicario 2 was okay but there is a Sicario 3 in the works that Taylor Sheridan has written. I don't know if Denis Villeneuve will be involved but I don't think he's directing it. Good reaction guys.
Think of it as different book of Al and Matt, rather then the next chapter. Ist was Sicario: hit man which was Al 2rd is day of the soldier which was Matt questioning his role and the 3rd will be Sicaro: Capos - which is bosses. So, I guess we will final get to met Carlos Reyes 😊 - just me guessing
Maybe it's just me but I don't think the thing with the kid was that coincidental or overly convenient. He clearly saw Alejandro at the parking lot and they stared at each other for a good while & if you're a teenager you're definitely going to remember almost getting hit by a car while a dude stares at you somewhat menacingly. Then a little later while you're in Mexico you see a dude who looks eerily similar to that guy and you're trying to prove yourself to the cartel. You'd be suspicious and say something as well. The kid was pretty observant and that's probably partially why Alejandro sees something in him and ambushes him in the end of the film
There's a big problem with how they set up that plot twist though. There's no way in hell this kid is going to recognize our guy Alejandro's face from I dunno, let's say 50-100ft away at night while he's being backlit by headlights directly behind him while wearing a cowboy hat. That just isn't how light & shadow work, especially to the naked eye at a distance in the dark. Personally I'm on the fence on whether or not I think Alejandro was at the fast food place to recruit Miguel or to kill him. You could make an argument for either outcome to be honest.
The Boondock Saints. They prefer a completely dark sky when they jump. The also do HALO(High Altitude Low Opening) jumps. They call them "coyotes" they're paid by the cartel to lead people across/to the border.
I actually like this one better than the first one. It’s obviously set up for a third movie and don’t understand the hate as others have commented. I’m sure the third installment will tie everything up.
This isn’t technically “Part 2,” since Dene didn’t direct it. Same characters, but still, different behind the camera; and it’s not a continuation of the last movie in the way you want it to be.
Gotta check out the other taylor Sheridan films and shows, they're amazing! Wind river, hell or high water, yellowstone, 1883, 1923, mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa king
People get shot in the head and live. I know of one case where someone tried to commit suicide by putting a shotgun in their mouth and it only resulted in them having to spend the rest of their life living with half a face.
You should work in Wind River and Hell or High Water, both born of the mind of Taylor Sheridan (Sicario and TV Yellowstone). These round out Sheridan's Modern American West trilogy. Both are world class gut punches. They ain't many happy endings in the modern American West.
Hello guys! This one it’s kind of difficult to understand, but still good action and tension; I think this one will be a strong link to the next Sicario 3 I already heard it’s on the way; but being a fan of the first one and Josh movies and of course our puertorican home boy Benicio I loved this one too. 🙋🏻♂️
it was a mess but i always felt it was supposed to be a mess. everything after the shoot out with the police was not part off the plan and everything went to shit after that which i feel is pretty realistic off how something like this would go everything goes according to plan until it doesn't
I agree with your verdict. Filmmaking-wise it was shot and acted well but this script sucked. Or at least you can tell that the third act they had no idea where to commit on the story direction.
Was Day of the Soldado as good as the first Sicario? No. The first movie was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The writing was phenomenal, the characters were excellent, and the plot was second to none. Not to mention the music was outstanding, and it really made the movie THAT much better. Day of the Soldado was still a very solid movie, with the same great characters in Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, and the addition of Isabela Merced. I just feel that it would've been better as a standalone movie, instead of being connected with the first Sicario.

To make an analogy Sicario is akin to First Blood while Day of Soldado is akin Rambo: First Blood part 2. Where the second movie completely missed the point and subtlety of the first movie in exchange for dumb down spectacle and action sequences.
Hating on a sequel and gassing the original has been a trend forever. Sometimes it’s valid, often it’s just people being sheep.
Its a good movie but the trailer sold me on a different and a more awesome movie
This time it's valid. This is a good action flick. I have 0 problems with it but the original? This wasn't even filmed as well. They could've at least brought over the location scout. Just that alone made this film weaker.
the movie starts with an interesting idea and then drops it after 20 minutes and just does wallmart Logan.
Desperately wanting a Part 3. The first two were amazing.
Yes! We need this trilogy
Brolin said he really wants to do a third one but the industry is moving away from these mid budget movies. Nowadays it's either indie movies or big superhero blockbusters.
If you wanna stay on this train, I HIGHLY recommend Wind River. Same writer
Wind River is criminally underrated. Bonus, it features Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Punisher.
Great movie! But a piece of my soul did die watching it
The way he handles business is not scary.
Just WOW.
@@yvetterodriguez2550 she also the lead girl in Alien Romulus
@@marquiscarr3114 Ooh. I haven't seen that one yet. Good to know. Thanks! 👍
The reason the Cartels are so powerful is that they own the Government.
FACTS! Enrique Peña Nieto got paid MILLIONS by every cartel in Mexico to STFU and look the other way.
It’s worse then that even. They ARE the government and have been for the majority of its existence. Whenever we hear about the Mexican government “cracking down” on cartel activities it’s really just the cartels trimming the fat to keep the US content with believing that something is being done.
They own corporations that own governments
Josh Brolin was rightfully impressed with Isabella Merced's acting in this movie, but she actually impressed me first in the ridiculous "Dora and the Lost City of Gold." She was able to deliver the silly dialogue (and even sing a song about digging a hole to poop in) with complete sincerity and commitment that I thought "This girl is brilliant."
I think it is a stand alone movie, rather than a sequel, not as good as Sicario but not a bad movie, there was rumours of a 3rd one with Emily Blunt returning….
I thought Days of The Soldado was the prequel ...
@@dailycarolina. actually never thought of that, is there any evidence of this? doing a bit of googling seems to neither confirm nor deny, typical CIA!!
13:53 That rapid fire technique is "bump firing."
14:09 that shot with the gun being used made the whole trailer
I honestly thought this was OK. it’s not as good as Sicario, but it’s still entertaining. I think it tried too hard to be more action-oriented.
I'm a big fan of these Sicario films. I wish they'd do a lot more of them.
Sicario and Sicario Day of the Soldad are my two favorite movies over the past 20 years. I've seen both more than 20 times, each and am wondering if a 3rd movie, which has been delayed by studio complications will be made.
They are making a final and third film mate 49:09
@@danieladusei1993 confirmed? Last month it was still up in the air. If confirmed that is great.
Fun trivia: Josh Brolin and Benicio del Toro also appeared together in Avengers: Infinity War in the same year as this movie.
The rapid fire pistol shot being in the trailer was what convinced me I didn't need to waste my time with this movie without you two providing the entertainment value. xo
Too bad this movie didn’t have the same director
First movie had better writing. One of the best directors working today. Best cinematographer of all time. Amazing score by the woman who also did Joker's score.
Same writer- Taylor Sheridan. BUT..... the director (different director) re-wrote the last 1/3rd of the movie.
1st one Jóhann Jóhannsson did the score lol
In the first one people think Alajandro is water boarding the captured guy but it clearly shows the dry drain in the floor and the untouched jug of water. Alejandro was forcing his you know what in his mouth. SICK SCENE.
I always fought that what he did
Wasn’t the drain they zoomed in on just the drain in Emily blunts room and she’s just hearing what’s going on in the other room through the drain?
@@johnbrown8570 Blunt gets told off by Brolin. shes no where near that scene. The dry drain and full jug of water isnt an accidental insert shot...coupled with a man gurgling. Benicio is violating that man under Cartel prison rules for snitches.
@@johnbrown8570 nah. Brolin tells her to f-off. Shes no where near that scene.
29:52 I love Josh Brolin’s character in this 😂
The daughter knew what her dad did, that's why she told the head master to go ahead and kick her out, because she knew he knew who her dad was. That's why she said she didn't think so
Now, watch Josh Brolin again in Hollow Man. It's another thriller movie for you.
You should do Soderburgh's Traffic with Del Toro, Michael Douglas, Don Cheedle and Catherine Zeta Jones. Realistic view of four stories around the drug trade.
I love that movie! Haven’t watched it in quite awhile…might have to do that later.
2018 was a great year for Josh Brolin. This movie, Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 not only were premiered few weeks apart but also they did very well in the box office .
He’s great!!
The story wasn't "a mess" it just wasn't what you expected it would be. The story they told made sense.
I totally disagree. It was all over the place with no flow. Everything with the kid was way too convenient.
@@NikkiStevenReact I believe the story could have been better but I think that they were trying to set this one up for sequels. This reaction channel is one of the best.
@@drew9738 this movie should’ve had the same director as the first one
@@Kickinthescience I agree. Villeneuve is one of the best directors in the business. I love what he has done with Dune.
The soundtrack to Sicario 2 was made by Hildur Guðnadóttir. Icelandic cellist, producer and composer. She also did the soundtrack for Joker and Chernobyl. She is amazing ❤
Wind River movie must be next! 🙂
I loved this one. Its a different story. It was not a coincidence. They are two stories that converge. They showed you the American politics to show you how messed up this is. These movies are more episodic and completly different. Stories. I cant wait for the 4th one.
THIS is how you "negotiate" with terrorists.
I was so happy to see this reaction of the sequel 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One thing that I have learned from real good writers and I’m talking real good writing of a movie is that if you’re watching a film and you’re feeling confused or anxious or disoriented about the storyline you can bet the house that they are making a follow up.
Part 3 in this case
And guess what ?
They’re rumors that it’s going on now, I can’t wait for its release.
I look at this movie as more of a slice of life look into CIA, homeland security, and cartel operations. Political narratives and false intel totally screwed over the frontline operatives and they were supposed to just take it on the chin and move on to the next operation.
Alejandro talking to the kid about being a sicario is him giving the kid the option to live vs executing him where he stands. He sees the kid as more a product of his environment and is taking an opportunity to shape him into something more than a coyote or thug.
depends, world war 2 my grandfather was yelling back to his platoon about an ambush, when a bullet went thru his check and out his mouth.
46:35- Right?? That's what I'm thinking. How did this guy go from "Excess Baggage" to "Sicaro 1&2" that is quite the change. Benecio did this!!!!
I hope they bring Emily back for the third movie and she’s the one with the government that Has to reach out to the same people she wanted to put behind bars
they are currently filming a 3rd movie they finished the script last year earlier this year
Love this movie, such an interesting story to watch Alejandro’s story. Can’t wait for the next one
So many things wrong with this movie. You can start with, how did < putting Kate down with bullets and then saying "Don't ever point a gun at me again", and taking out a whole family because the Father took out yours > in the first movie, turn into < getting shot in the head and left for dead, and then taking absolutely no revenge when you have the opportunity, and infact doing the opposite, saying "so you wanna be a Sicario" > in this movie ?????????????????????????
this one is not directed by Denise and you can tell
Yes! Love this sequel! Thanks for reacting to it
Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
My favorite movies hands down. For me a perfect portrayal of our world as it isn't usually covered. Done in a clear and beautiful way.
A lot of unanswered questions? Should tell you that this is not over.
So?
Isabella was so good in this. Didn't even realize at first that this was her younger.
Ist was Sicario: hit man which was Al
2rd is day of the soldier which was Matt questioning his role and the 3rd will be Sicaro: Capos - which is bosses. So, I guess we will final get to met Carlos Reyes 😊 - just me guessing
Just wait for Sic 3... hoping it will be an epic flow from this story. In pre-production so far.
I really hope you guys watch Shogun soon. I'm sure you will both absolutely love it.
that gun move with that finger is the arcade style😅😂
Bump fire....
You both should check out lawless, public enemies or gangster squad 😁
Both movies were great. If you want to see a movie that shows what human trafficking is then watch Sound Of Freedom.
I like Alejandro's theme song. The one you hear at the end scene
I highly recommend you watch - The Red Sea Diving Resort (2019) & The Kingdom (2007). Great reaction.

The movie felt a bit odd, but the action and anticipation was great! Love the reaction, you two are just pure entertaining. 😊

You guys should watch Act Of Valor very similiar movie and was disturbing stuff in that
53:52 on that note, the movie "Shoot 'em up" is another fun one to check out :)
This is a “drop off the cliff” sequel. Rushed script, and different director. (First director, DV, had other obligations)
it was a mess but i always felt it was supposed to be a mess. everything after the shoot out with the police was not part off the plan and everything went to shit after that which i feel is pretty realistic off how something like this would go everything goes according to plan until it doesn't
This one is okay, the first was better in my opinion.
This movie is just the long form trailer for the Third, where there will be War
I felt like the movie declined without Emily Blunt. Not bringing her back was a HUGE mistake!

Pretty cool move with a finger huh makes it act like a machine gun love it
I agree with your verdict. Filmmaking-wise it was shot and acted well but this script sucked. Or at least you can tell that the third act they had no idea where to commit on the story direction.
Nikki and Steven, check out The Hunted, with Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro.
