it's true. i had a friend die from intentional overdose at age 20, he was depressed. I'm currently a heroin IV addict and have sever depression and I can't seem to quit yet i so badly wish to.
Bro it’s because when your low , you so badly want to feel the slightest bit of happiness you take 😞it even though you know the consequences 😥 because you want the shakes to stop ,the mental anguish ,panic attacks to stop !!!! ....and so on , if you ever need a friend to talk to I’m here 24-7 & 25-8 😜 I know you feel hopeless and so low , it’s because your brain is unbalanced and dependent on H , WE can bet this together my brother!
Grey Ghosts . . . The best way to interrupt the heroin cycle is with suboxone. It’s easy to get and will stop every single wd symptom. It works really well for the first 3 weeks, then as the brain heals from heroin you may have a slump. That’s why a mental health professional is useful. Many folks need a mild antidepressant in the beginning or a mild benzo for a few weeks. Easy does it. I lost my son to fentynol laced heroin . . . I used suboxone instead of pain meds and it is a wonder drug. If only I had known, I would still have my son.
I was a heavy heroin user, it really did ruin my life. I got off heroin last November and ive recently gotten off the opiate treatment. I can now say i am clean and its such a good feeling i am back into the gym and in general my life is so much better. If you ever think about touching it please don't, there is nothing harder and more painful than getting off heroin. If anyone is suffering from heroin addiction or any type of addiction just know there is help if you want it.
Juicy and s h…. Please hang in there. The hurt you can impose on those who love you is incalculable. My friend’s son just OD’d and died. He thought no one loved him he said. 500 people came to his funeral. He leaves behind sons 9 and 12 with an exwife and a 3 year old with a fiancee. He had been clean at least 6 years and went back to it. You can do better. Who knows what good things are left on this earth for you?
@s h It would be better to stop now before your brain reaches peak development. A lot of the stress will be age related and won’t last forever, we realistically go through different stages of puberty until 25. Even if life is crap it gets more manageable the more accustomed you and your brain become. It starts with getting clean, take it a day at a time and then by each week life will start to feel more manageable. Just look around at people living what you would call a good life and think about what the differences are and why you think that would be a good life for you then incorporate those things into your own life. Again it won’t be instant but you can do it just believe in yourself. 💪
Octamed it’s because our bodies change to the drug. They change so that we rely on the drug. When we don’t have it, our body systems are tuned to a whole different setting that doesn’t include dope (your brain usually produces less serotonin, no endorphins, etc.), so we feel sick because, again, our bodies were shaped around the drug and that shape is not holding up a life without it so it needs to change
Chlorine dioxide is a very effective and gentle way of detoxifying from Heroin without the painful withdrawal symptoms. The website CancerCure7.com sells Chlorine dioxide. "Long live the new flesh." ~ 'VIDEODROME' (1983)
Not just game over. Plenty of people go from heroin addiction to getting better, being healthy and helping others. I admit it's not the norm but it happens.
I used to work in a clinic where we treated substance abusers and just seeing their lives destroyed by addiction and often the pain their families endured, was enough to put you off even considering anything like that ever. As the guy in this video said the long term damage outweighs the short term euphoria you feel.
thelaurels13 it certainly does. Was addicted. Started out 17years ago on codeine and muscle relaxers. Went to Heroin. On Suboxone. Took me that long to grow up and grow out of wanting to use. Got so sick and tired of being sick throwing up all night and day. Didn't see my family for years. I worked, paid my rent but didn't have anything else to see family friends or anything. Sad life.
Meh, Heroin was my first opioid drug, tried snorting some first then switched to injecting after unsatisfying results. Done it a bit here and there, maybe 3 grams in total and doesn't have much urge for it at all. More of an occassional thing for me. Amphetamine and alcohol is way worse from an addiction and potential harm standpoint imo.
Christian Krona Alcohol definitely have to agree there. Unfortunately opiates were my drug of choice. I think I'm a bit hyper to begin with and needed a downer to help. Amphetamines didn't do much for me. Did them occasionally but my first love was opiates. It's weird how different people will drift to either uppers or Downers some people to both. We are all different hey.
Danielle Hughes oh yeah there's definitely different types of people, and we all enjoy different types of drugs or other stimuli. I wish for the masses to understand this, it's not just black and white. Cheers and good luck
I can name 50 in my small county alone. Its an imported drug how is that much heroin getting into the states? When they say our borders are secure and the war on drugs works 😂😂 Im 3 weeks clean now..
Morphine is only good for certain types of pain. I'm an expert, 20 years experience with opiates lol. Not any more but used to be quite adept at consuming as much as I could get my hands on. 9 out of every 10 od's are people using benzo's or alcohol then opiates on top. Pure opiate overdoses are rare. So is the effects you describe once you've used it a few times, once is a stretch no one ever had a habit from using heroin once mate. After that you''re just flat out keeping yourself from being sick! And sick doesn't even go close to describing what happens. I'd rather be shot or amputate a limb rather than have to go through serious withdrawal again!
Jerry King These days, with fentanyl being a real risk in every bag you get, your stat about pure opioid overdoses being rare is unfortunately no longer true.
If you are in the early stages if your heroin addiction or have just taken it for the first time and are planning on never taking it again or quitting you will most likely break your promise regardless of how formidable of a person you are. Before it’s too late go to a facility to get treatment before you take any more
As a heroin addict in recovery I can say the drug is so scary, it took everything from me my health my peace of mind my job my car my girlfriend my house… I ended up homeless doing petty crime to fuel it… I thought I could control it and before I new ir I couldn’t get out of bed without heroin! I nearly lost both my legs thru injecting heroin and crack and can say to anyone thinking about it you should stay well away
Jeremiah Wade Hello my friend! I also wanted to let you know that i apologize , I did not spell check and my phone wrote a wired word with capital T ,sorry for the mistake . )
I’ve been addicted to heroin since 17 18 yrs old most my friends are dead as is my first true love and my very best friend of my life any questions feel free to ask xx please keep up your great work buff luv from B in uk
@@kaceysonyobehind8615 good question. Umm usually it’s around thc, or mushys, if you have access to both. Specially if your trusted friend has knowledge on how to get it. Mostly word on the street. You’ll know you’ve found it, when it’s spoken about in a beautiful way? I wanna give the internet a safe space blah blah... it’s a every day thing for me, others never see it. Just give it time, it’ll find you.
@@kaceysonyobehind8615 Definitely the dark web. Make a Tails boot drive and visit some popular markets. Drugs are cheaper, safer, and even have escrow. I'd reccomend visiting r/Darknet for more info, great community for getting started.
My friend lives with a heroin addict, she’s still a minor and can’t leave. He smokes it indoors and I’m very afraid it’ll hurt her. I stopped coming over after I kept smelling something I couldn’t place. Heroin terrifies the living hell out of me.
Ironically enough, the poppy at 0:32 is not the opium poppy (papaver somniferum) but rather the corn/field poppy (papaver rhoeas), that produces almost morphine at all.
Sooooooo like what, 100 years and heroin is more of an issue then ever before, maybe, maybe, stay with me now, maybe we should (as a society) try going at addiction with a new strategy? Anyone think that what our lol government is doing isn't helping but INSTEAD hurting the current situation
If you look at the Vietnam study it is shown that your life situation is the overiding factor in keeping people without hope and prey for heroin addiction when laudnum was sold over the counter there was no overwhelming addiction problem. It was around 4 to 5 percent. The desparity of poverty in this country is what drives the addiction problem. People need hope for something to live for. When they detoxed the 30% of Vietnam soliders and brought them home only 4 to 5% went back to using . The norm average of many countries at the time
They feed it to the population (I.e. us) they have a purpose, and that is to get rid of us n control the population . You know everyday in America ( ONLY THE US!) 130 people die every DAY from this devils powder.... and last week my step father was one of them ..,. 💕 RIP RYAN 💕 and stay away from this terrible horrific drug including All opiates in general, idc what ur doc prescribes u it’s incredibly hard not to get addicted and manage your pain for people who really need it and not take more than you’re prescribed smh 🤕😔😔
@Chevy Fraser i think what they mean is that they miss the feeling it gives ya but i agree with you tho some people were already scum like that before trying heroin
This to me is the most haunting aspect of the drug. I really cannot comprehend a pleasure so great that I would long for it over a decade later. I wouldn't want to be able to.
Yea itz good feeling when its good but if u let it take over TRUST me it WillDoSo ive been fighting it started with simple surgery an percocets for pain medicine THEN on to liking the♨️🎡 HIGH 🎢your Life begins to be a 🎢maryGoRound🎠🎭it gave me i had a $90 a day Habit into a $190-$250 a DAY 🧩🧸abit
i have dealt with the physical detox part and i find that easy to do now. its the mental part i cant get over. i have been clean as long as a year and go back.. i am weak and stupid to keep doing it but i do. i have tried to quit it to many times to count. i just keep going back and i guess that would make me insane.. anyone that gets through the physical part i am proud of you but the mental part realy is the hardest part.. i wish the best for anyone trying to quit and if anyone has any tips on getting over the mental part PLEASE SHARE it with me. i have been fighting this shit for over 20 years now.. i hate that i am to weak in my mind to just stay off it but i havent been able to.
I used to be like that. I couldn't quit. Then some bad shit happened and i realized there's no point. I couldn't even get high anymore anyway, so i was just wasting my time, money, and possible freedom. You have to play it through to the end in your head. You immediately think it would be great to be high, but then what?
I agree about the mental part. The depression and anxiety is so hard to deal with that you feel like the only way you'll get past that own with more heroin. Benzos really help with that feeling but with an addictive personality they'd just become another addiction and from what I hear is just as bad if not worse. I'm currently in the middle of quitting and have been bouncing back between subs and heroin. I'm stuck in this cycle because I'm trying to avoid withdrawal and knowing that I'll have to face it sooner or later mentally fucks me up. I'm high right now so I'm just rambling but it's just how I feel
I'm 32 days off opiates. You're right, the physical is nothing compared to the mental. It's a battle everyday, but there are good days and bad days. I know it sounds cliche but exercise/physical activity is the only thing that works for me. You gotta change your routine. Even lifestyle if your 100% serious. Eating right and taking multivitamins every day will allow everything to slowly get back to normal. There is no quick fix, just being disciplined in your sobriety. Good luck.
Daniel Myers you can do it, the fact your talking about and asking for help is a strong persons personality in itself. Your not weak. Opiates are super addicting, I know you will get and stay off the opiates cause you are strong for asking for tips and help and sometimes you just gotta remember the positive things you have been told or that you just know. Remember everybody understanding on your UA-cam channel and remember your not the only one who has felt this way and remember how strong you are and how strong others know you are and just no matter how it seems just keep repeating the positive in your head or out loud and look at yourself in the mirror while doing so too. You can do this. Positive affirmations do help as corny as that one may sound. :)🥰🙂😊😉🤗👍🏻👋🏻✌🏻🖖🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
My gf is in jail right now on three old warrants and been clean for 11 days. She's like a different person. The one I'm in live with. I'm terrified when she gets out. Most overdoses happen from low tolerance. She's not ready to give it up :( it's destroying me. She's the love of my life and the most beautiful girl I've ever met. I'm really enjoying our 15 min convos now. I never get to talk to this girl. First time ever telling me she cares about me, misses me and loves me. I didn't turn my back on her ever. Court is Thursday and the day she is released will be the most nervous day of my life. I wish she would stay off of it. She got past the hard part but it's what she talks about when calling. Getting out and doing some and drinking. She doesn't want to hear about staying clean.
@lolletsplay04 no.. She got out of jail n did a lot of lying, started doing meth and we got in many fights. So she's gone n it sucks. There's nothing I could do n I lost my best friend. She put it in my head that she was pregnant to get more out of me.
@lolletsplay04 most beautiful girl I ever seen n was happy to call a friend is being ruined by this shit. Now back to moving house to house. But she's probably happy closer to the drugs now n back with the losers. Shr could've been so incredible
I took half of 25 mg oxycodone tablet because my wrist was hurting. The pain didn’t go away and initially i thought that the drug was too small of a dose, after 40 minutes the wrist was still hurting but i didn’t give a f at all. My restless legs went away, my nerves calm down, became relaxed and the life was so beautiful. The only time i had that kind of feeling was when in Russia almost froze to death then found a warm place and laid down. Same exact feeling. The restless legs didn’t even return for couple of weeks. I think opiates are wonderful.
I have to take morphine twice a day for the degenerative osteoarthritis in my spine. I find that I am a lot more tired and tend to need to have nap during the afternoon.
Some people in these comments are really trying to defend the use of heroin and morphine and say it’s not that bad and not addictive? Say that to the millions of addicts across the world who have lost everything, including their lives, to heroin and overdosing. I saw someone try to say that heroin overdoses are rare when in 2017 there were about 81,000 heroin related overdoses. So please, stop trying to say it’s not as bad as this video makes it out to be, because it is.
Disappointed in this as it's rhetoric and doesn't look at actual addiction figures at all!! Btw heard an addiction expert say the following and they were talking about findings from Switzerland and Portugal, and maybe more places this was over 1 year ago I heard it. 1000s are given diamorphine (heroin) every year for hip replacements on the NHS in the UK and they do not form addictions beyond 1 or 2%. In fact when you break down the figures of drug use to see how people consume drugs be it occasional, to let loose regularly, and addiction it mirrors that of alcohol use. When looking at addicts as a group be it alcohol or illegal drugs they all have common denominators, such as broken families, mental disorders etc. And this is where the expert really functioned on. Because of the propaganda that it's drug addiction which needs tackled, and not the person's problems which lead to their addiction; traditional rehab has very high rates of relapse. At least in Switzerland and Portugal (I think) they try and tackle the underlying cause of why people became addicts in the first place, rather than teaching them methods to break the cycle. And they have way more success. If anyone is interested in that interview I'll pass it on. Edit: Couldn't find the original video I was thinking of as the guy has just made that many, but posted two links as a response to this comment
Little Cripple can you post sources? Do you think its easier for society to blame the individual rather admit an underlying social problem (which would require addressing)?
In the U.S the statistics are around 4 million people have tried it once in their life, of which 335,000 have used it within the last month (Drugabuse.com). So it's not the instant source of addiction most people assume it to be, and there in lies the problem with how the nature of the addiction is portrayed to people. Lets say you do it once, and don't get all those horrible come downs mentioned by all the talking heads and articles you've read online. You think you're one of those lucky few who can pick it up and drop it on a whim. So you do it another time, and another, and then you're doing a little more each time to chase the same high....and then one day you're short on money and you can't pay your local dealer for a few days. No worries, you've done without it before... And the next morning you wake up with flu like symptoms with a gentle craving, which builds and builds over the hours till at last you'd literally sell your own grandma for a few grams of the good stuff. Before anyone accuses me of defending heroin use, let me tell you about some of the more coloruful side effects that can/will happen from your new found addiction. You can end up so constipated that you literally end up projecting vomiting up your own feces because they literally have no where else to go. If you go into withdrawal there's a good chance you'll have the joy of forced orgasms, because your nervous system has been continually depressed for months or years on end, and suddenly remember it has nerve endings in your penis. It may sound fun, but imagine going through hours upon hours of painful orgasms when your body is stressed, tired, craving, and your ball sack was emptied five minutes into the whole ordeal. Oh, and if you're an ex user and have to go into hospital for an operation you now how the choice of taking the strong painkillers on offer and going through withdrawal again, or going through the surgery with the equivalent of paracetamol to control the pain... And most ex-addicts choose the second option. That's how much the withdrawal sucks.
Social background is a major factor, but I became addicted with NO real excuse. This IS a wonder drug....but in a terrible way. By the time you realise that the symptoms you feel are because of withdrawal its too late. The stigma shown towards addicts is a major problem. If you're teated like a piece of shit, then you'll treat people as they treat you, which is an awful downward spiral. The ONLY sensible way forward that is proven to work is the legalisation route that the Portuguese etc have taken. This pointless decades old war on drugs is just totally irrational, and will never work. Politicians don't ever go for legalisation as it's unpopular and won't get them votes. Millions of young people are suffering a life of HELL, while big pharma and rehabs etc make fortunes. This epidemic is a huge problem worldwide, and unless some politicians get the balls to do the right thing, millions will continue to suffer and die, even the people that have never touched this drug are affected by it, crime is mostly due to finding money to buy this drug, therefore legalisation reduces crime and all the costs to life that go along with it. Massively unreported problem in the first world countries. I pray for future generations...and hope we sort it before it's passed on to them, but I don't hold out much hope.
I met someone whom i call "friend" last year. Her friend introduce me to meth and some yaba.At this point im a MDMA,magic mushroom and ketamin user. I got kick out of house that day and coincidentally I met people who willing to teach me basics of meth.Well im totally down for that and since then i can't stop using for 11months. Me and her fought one day and we decided to split off.We did.I went cold turkey and stopped using for 5months. Last month I relapsed on meth after celebrating my 18th birthday, started doing it again after meeting a new friend. So disappointed in myself.
he understates what it feels like. from what i’ve heard, it’s so unimaginably good that you’ll never feel anything like it by natural means. you’re literally in heaven. i don’t wanna experience it because i feel like nothing will be as exciting after that
a study in the niagara region of canada said 1 in 5 people know somone who uses opiates. Niagara region has about 450,000 people. Major opoid problems here, heroin being the main one.
I do not know if it is lucky or unlucky for me to be allergic to almost every pain killer. I have a herniated disc in my back and also get terrible migraines. I have been prescribed many pain killers such as dilaudid, tramidol, vicodin, codeine, and others. I have had extreme allergic reactions from them leading to trips to the ER so I just cannot take any pain medications of those types. I have to rely on Relpax for migraines and Prednisone for the back pain. I pray to never need a strong pain killer since another allergic reaction like that could kill me.
Heroin withdrawl typically won't kill you but alcohol withdrawl can (DT's). The feelings of impending doom thinking and knowing you're going to die is truely horrifying for those who experience it.
Last month i tried going cold turkey but i couldn’t resist, after 18 hrs i had to take it , but now since that day i have promised my self to take a gap and now i have made a gap of 12 hrs and now 14 hrs. Slowly i will kick it off pray for me
So I have done morphine and let me say that this guy is misinformed. Morphine doesn't cause addiction, it actually rewires the part of your brain that causes addiction. Morphine ENDS addiction. I wasted so much time before I did morphine. I wasted years of my life going on Facebook or UA-cam for hours every day. I did morphine three times in my life (that was years ago) and now I am a master of efficiency. Not a single second of my day is wasted. My addiction to Facebook and all the world's vanity is gone. Painful emotions don't even rise anymore. I don't miss anyone. I am free to work on myself without being attached or getting distracted by pleasure. I see so clearly now.
Marcus Fossa Wow if thats the case then I NEED morphine!! This youtube and facebook thing is taking too much of my time!! I want to be efficient and productive again and stop wasting my life away.
@Chango Chilemba Tramadol is some addictive shit. For me it is both mentally and physically addictive. Yet it makes me feel great. I am more social and out going. It makes the depression and anxiety stop.
Jes' a little short story: I wrote Brian Miller & the Twins of Triton, awhile back: And my main character, Brian, was addicted to heroin! Thing was (and is) I *don't know much* about heroin! You straighten me out, thank you!!!
Sassy The Sasquatch its cool im also on anti psychotics and was on SSRIs until recently just curious and clueless since i dont have any background in biology
abhilash messi SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitors) block the reuptake of seratonin by the presynaptic neuron, leaving more in the synaptic cleft, resulting in increased feelings of euphoria. This is the primary course of action for most anti depressants as those suffering from depression experience faster reuptake of seratonin, leaving less in the synaptic cleft for a shorter period of time
@Sassy The Sasquatch i am on clozapine and prozac very bad side effects but i rather to be asleep or tired than psychotic hearing seeing things and wanting to kill myself as you said every person has different experiences i think its dangerous what you said some people really do need the medication i was told several times do this do that take less pills try this tea i was even told to smoke weed and you know what happened i was inpatient around 11 times and those that told me about the damage to my liver and blah blah were not there it almost take my life so to anyone reading this listen to your doctor you better fat or sleepy than psychotic or suicidal and if you are worried for the damage to your liver etc remember its better to live less but having life quality.... just saying
@@abhilashmessi31 . yes medication has side effects but mental problems are caused by chemical imbalances in your brain thats totally out of your control. im on clozapine and prozac i won weight feel tired all day but thats much better than being psychotic having panick attacks and suicidal, yes taking medication shortens your life spam but improves your life quality! i tried to take less pills do what i wanted and nearly pay it with my life not worth the price! Psychosis is life treatning
Misinformation much? One time will NOT get anyone addicted. Heroin IS morphine (acetylated in 2 positions) Morphine that is more fat (lipid) soluble and able to cross the blood brain barrier more readily. It is more like a prodrug in a sense as heroin itself only lasts 5-10 minutes before being broken down back to morphine. It is a more effective and ultimately cheaper way of delivering morphine. Between 2-2.5 times the strength of parental morphine. Mexican heroin is less pure and other chemicals get acetylated, like 6MAM (more euphoria less sedation) which is why Mexican tar is a “better high” and it’s in a form that can be smoked or injected as is not one or the other. Heroin for all intents and purposes is morphine. It is very addictive but no more than hydromorphone or OxyContin or even hydrocodone. It’s dose dependent like everything.
One time won't get anyone addicted? Well, I'd love for you to say that to the faces of the many addicts who were hooked after the first time they used.
Yep total bollocks.........took me a few months taking it every day before I started to become physically dependant............back 20 odd years ago. This guy hasnt got a clue what hes talking about.
honestly i blast a few bags a day....n im not a zombie i just feel painless....people get nuts sometimes.....but yes u do have withdrawl symptoms.... diarrhea and tired for a few days....is my issue.....
Heroin.... is bad of course i did it for about 10 years, then somewhere along I switched to Fentanyl. Is said that heroin is 50 times more potent than morphine, and fentanyl 50 times more potent than heroine. this last five years of fentanyl abuse has left me all messed up both physical and mentally. Sometimes i look forward to just hang myself, to end what goes in my head. Of course family can NOT help, nothing. I have been only clean for a month, yeah I know, is nothing, I want to go get it, is no problem at all for me. Problem is, that whatever i was running from at the beginning of my addiction, that pain, those memories... are still here. I do not live by the day like the NA or AA says, done all the steps, i do not believe in higher powers, so what changed? I am sure every addict in one point or another just wanted to die, the more you tried to die the longer you lived. I guess that few will live to tell about it, a lot would not. I have suppressed those craving with coffee and cigarrettes, and music, whatever works right?
3:55... um.... no. You won't develop a physical dependence after one use. You likely wouldn't even develop mental addiction. A lot of people try heroin and don't like it, it's not meth, although no good either, don't get me wrong.
Please show your sources when claiming a statement like "you can get addicted after one time use". I cannot find any source that agrees with this statement beyond websites claiming it in a similar way as done here. If you want to educate people, do it the right way with actual sourced facts.
Yes that is literally what I meant. Common doctors are using it for operations so that bacteria don't infect patients when they are opened so it must be safe!
And you don’t chase the high or try to get high like the first time. You do it to feel normal just so you can not feel sick and get thru the day you already know by that point getting high isn’t possible anymore. I’m two years sober now and I will never go back to it but I wanted real info to be out there.
Thats true and the reason people who never tried it shouldnt because it does feel good and your going to want to do it again and again and so on untill your adicted
Definitely feels better than any other drug by a million times. Not saying that you should try it. I was mentally addicted to them the 1st time. Got 8 years clean!!!
so other than being addictive and having a possibility of overdose... what exactly is so harmful about it? if a heroin addict was able to maintain a steady supply of clean heroin and used safely, are there actually any real major health repercussions? because from what i gather from this video, it is the unsafe usage and flow on effects and not actually the usage in and of itself that makes it problematic...
William S Burroughs the author maintained a habit for decades due to supply of the the same purity. it tends to be what its cut with or a stronger than normal batch that causes od's
Wanted to find out more about the physical dependency, why exactly people “feel” sick when they stop using. Are they really sick or its in the brain? Why would they have digestive distress when they stop using? Yes, depression, I understand, but diarrhoea? Otherwise very well explained.
Watching your body language and nervous gesticulation I have a feeling you sniffed a line as well. Hard to focus on what you're saying... unless I need a line too?
At present, it is estimated that 400,000-500,000 Americans have died of opioid overdoses since the turn of the millennium, then all opioid-related deaths such as accidents, suicide, hepatitis, etc. are added. Then add deaths caused by alcohol, amphetamine, crack, cocaine and we are up to millions death. While the number of deaths in covid 19 is estimated at 87,000. What resources have been put into the two different diseases?
Dr aditi what's stopping you? I wouldn't recommend it, it's an incredibly painful and life ruining problem. Every day a heroin addict will wake up ill and progressively becomes more ill until they find some money and find a dealer. It's no way to live, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It is a fate worse than death in my opinion. 1 poor choice as a young inexperienced person can ruin the rest of your (admittedly shortened) life.
Dr aditi oh pardon me, I thought you wanted to be an addict so you had a better understanding of it for your medical studies. Yes by all means be addicted to studying, it is certainly a lot safer!! 😆
I kinda was. It's what got me into drugs. Ironically propaganda got me interested in middle school. Then I started learning pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, therapeutic indexes, ADME, reading Pubmed articles, different routes of administration, reading pharmacological profiles of different drugs, full, partial agonists, antagonists, inverse agonists, then I became a fulltime heroin and methamphetamine addict
Desomorphine doesnt have any bad effects. Its the crap left in it by the cheap and unprofesional process used to make it by the ones making that causes the problems. If you could get it from an actual lab in its pure form it wouldnt have any of the negative effects
Like others said Desomorphine has almost identical effects to Heroin, it's just how it's made that causes extreme problems. Same method of synthesis as shake n bake meth labs are using, just that you switch out the Pseudoephedrine for Codeine.
If heroin slows down the metabolic system, then shouldn't a person need that much less oxygen for the cells to function? Isn't cellular relaxation the reason for the slowing of heart and breath? Our breath and heart rate slow significantly when sleeping (for most people). I can get a drop of 20-25 beats per minute less than my waking rate (60-65). A common respiratory rate is around 7 to 10 breaths per minute (unless exercising) My breath slows to around 2 breaths per minute when deeply relaxed, and there is no drop in alertness or damage from hypoxia.
The first 15 seconds of the video made me think he was doing these drugs lol 😂
Im sure he did.
same i was like what the fuck bruh
same
Then you seen how white his teeth are? 😊
Same ...esta pendego

@s h
It would be better to stop now before your brain reaches peak development. 💪
im so happy for u

Congratulations! I'm happy for you!!! 👍🙏
It'd be interesting to talk about withdrawals. About *why* your body goes crazy with physical symptoms over missing something you don't actually need.
nice question, along the lines, i always wondered why the body craves the unhealthy foods
SMM Gooz because they taste good, which tricks your body into thinking it’s good for you
Octamed it’s because our bodies change to the drug.
Hello Hi I thought in withdrawal your body produces too many endorfins that's why your body feels like your being electrocuted from the inside out.
Mark Burkey endorphins kill pain, that makes no sense lmfao

Once you become addicted, the long-term seems much less important.

Little Cripple I find it unbelievable that people can still defend alcohol or even worse, claim it 'isnt a drug' presumably because it's legal

James Brown had a song on the charts called "King Heroin." It's deep as hell.
Misinformation much?
One time will NOT get anyone addicted. Heroin IS morphine (acetylated in 2 positions)
Morphine that is more fat (lipid) soluble and able to cross the blood brain barrier more readily.
I got hooked/ fell in love after using shooting dope..not physically but mentally for sure.
RIP Layne Staley
@jimthelizardking69 have a nice day he really tried to get sober never could. Speed balls are what killed him
Why's my leg shaking watching this
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If HUMANS have soul's first time out you can feel it starting to slip away. Repeat this more of a HUMANS soul slips AWAY. This is a PROBLEM
The way he says synapse makes me want to buy a hooked on phonics learning kit. And send it to him. Free of charge
I went cold turkey yesterday 😋 😩 😌 😫 😍 😭 😋 it's up and down for now but tomorrow will be better
Bahh I was never a quitter. It fixes my broken heart....
A. Paul 😢
Yhe
We are just numb
I pray Jesus Christ will heal and comfort you. He has set me free of addiction and depression
John's interview in 1994 really broke my heart.
"Using it one time can cause physical dependence". That's just a straight up blatant lie.
Been clean 5 1/2 years. Best decision of my life :)
Well I'm addicted now.
An American heroin addict at the Peak of his usage was spending
$300 ( £228.60) a day 7 days a week that's before he got sober.
Lol its just 20$ a day, here in India.... full enjoy full euphoria
Heroin.... is bad of course i did it for about 10 years, then somewhere along I switched to Fentanyl.
I hope you're doing well
Jesus is the only way
3:55... um....
SillieWous that's because it's not true.... just more fear mongering.
Are you seriously advocating that heroin is safe? Hundreds of years of access has taught us that it’s not.
Yes that is literally what I meant. Common doctors are using it for operations so that bacteria don't infect patients when they are opened so it must be safe!
It depends on the person, but in general it is an addictive drog. (At least physical for every one)
Sugar is too, I did not claim it wasn't just not after one time use.
And you don’t chase the high or try to get high like the first time. You do it to feel normal just so you can not feel sick and get thru the day you already know by that point getting high isn’t possible anymore. I’m two years sober now and I will never go back to it but I wanted real info to be out there.
Opiates feel so good tho.
Wtf
@@Blickks is true though
Thats true and the reason people who never tried it shouldnt because it does feel good and your going to want to do it again and again and so on untill your adicted
unfadeable unfortunately..... smh 😣😔
Definitely feels better than any other drug by a million times. Not saying that you should try it. I was mentally addicted to them the 1st time. Got 8 years clean!!!
I have a good friend who just lost her son to heroine, probably laced with fentanyl. Could you tell us how this mix affects the body/mind?
Nothing is addictive after a single use.
Not quite physically but you will dream from it for weeks
Here on earth lab I’ve done a lot of drugs 💀💀💀
also known as dog food and dope
so other than being addictive and having a possibility of overdose... what exactly is so harmful about it? if a heroin addict was able to maintain a steady supply of clean heroin and used safely, are there actually any real major health repercussions? because from what i gather from this video, it is the unsafe usage and flow on effects and not actually the usage in and of itself that makes it problematic...
William S Burroughs the author maintained a habit for decades due to supply of the the same purity. it tends to be what its cut with or a stronger than normal batch that causes od's
I wish I lived back then!
Wanted to find out more about the physical dependency, why exactly people “feel” sick when they stop using. Are they really sick or its in the brain? Why would they have digestive distress when they stop using? Yes, depression, I understand, but diarrhoea? Otherwise very well explained.
Don’t ever do it. Ever. It’s sheer bliss but not worth it. “Dabbling” took a decade of my life.
Not bad for a waste of space✔💲💉
Thank God for heroïn it helped me to some bad times
Do a video about weed
Armando Rendon lol your crazy but that post was funny
"Seeking and taking more of the drug becomes your sole purpose in life... and that is NOT a cool way to live"
Watching your body language and nervous gesticulation I have a feeling you sniffed a line as well. Hard to focus on what you're saying... unless I need a line too?
The guy presents this like he presents a kids programme, so happy
I came here for the bodily effects, not a history lesson and some conjecture. Sheesh.
🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️smh
Physical dependence does NOT occur after the first use.
Can you make a super drug by combining all the drugs together in a powder form
you'd die; most drugs of varying classes cannot be mixed together without death, e.g. valium and xanax.. you risk your heart stopping completely.
Try it
*interactions*
You're going backwards, superiority moves toward PURITY
Just lost a friend today from heroin don’t ever start
Megan Pattison me too, same day as you did. Fuck heroin
I have a question, why do we have thoughts and how can we think???
This is like asking why do we fast walk when we jog.
i'll follow ur question with another....do emotions create thoughts or do thoughts inspire emotions ?
At present, it is estimated that 400,000-500,000 Americans have died of opioid overdoses since the turn of the millennium, then all opioid-related deaths such as accidents, suicide, hepatitis, etc. are added. Then add deaths caused by alcohol, amphetamine, crack, cocaine and we are up to millions death. While the number of deaths in covid 19 is estimated at 87,000. What resources have been put into the two different diseases?
Who here wants some hero?
just some in for me please
I muted it just to watch the hand gestures.
DMT
yes please
Heroin gets you really high.
no shit
Sure does
I WISH I WAS AN ADDICT for textbooks and studies😔
Dr aditi what's stopping you? I wouldn't recommend it, it's an incredibly painful and life ruining problem. Every day a heroin addict will wake up ill and progressively becomes more ill until they find some money and find a dealer. It's no way to live, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It is a fate worse than death in my opinion. 1 poor choice as a young inexperienced person can ruin the rest of your (admittedly shortened) life.
fredhair no no,read my line properly,😅I said I wanted to be addicted 'to my studies'i am in med school , addiction to my books would be great for me😅
Dr aditi oh pardon me, I thought you wanted to be an addict so you had a better understanding of it for your medical studies. Yes by all means be addicted to studying, it is certainly a lot safer!! 😆
aditi rajshekhar you can have my addiction
I kinda was. It's what got me into drugs. Ironically propaganda got me interested in middle school. Then I started learning pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, therapeutic indexes, ADME, reading Pubmed articles, different routes of administration, reading pharmacological profiles of different drugs, full, partial agonists, antagonists, inverse agonists, then I became a fulltime heroin and methamphetamine addict
Very informative . will help me a lot being a professional dealing with drug abuse.. Thank you from all of us
This video is mildly triggering...😔
No dont go back to it. Stay strong stay away please
thank you for the knowledge!
Krokodil next maybe?
Jaden Tapscott Krokodil isn't special at all it's just an opiate with nasty residue.
Can't wait to use soo excited
It's your funeral
You should travel to every school in the world and tell this exact video word for word to all kids SO THEY KNOW!!!
