- The deed is done. What previously seemed unbelievable has now become a dreadful reality. With the combined efforts of the remnants of the free world, an endeavor to forge a path that might lead to a better, but distant future is made. The end of this story could be a beginning of another.
Mental Omega is the unofficial sequel for the strategy game Command and Conquer: Red Alert that retells the story of Red Alert 2 and its expansion Yuri's Revenge. The mod adds over 100 missions, more gameplay variety, balance and mechanics, brings a new 4th faction into the game and much more.

This is the first time I am able to see the mission being played at full speed, and it is smooth! Even my laptop is too pepega to handle it. Things look a bit harder because lag isn't present to save your fingers some time.

@@rara2ra2yrra3racjj2 Did you want it harder? It is only the sixth Foehn mission, although that is a moot point since MO does not necessarily follow a difficulty curve. :P

finally, I'm able to watch someone play the game instead of watching the AI on Casual Mode fail to breach the defenses
Interesting choice to make that many MCVs xD I'll have to try it myself
It helps a lot with building defenses since the more ConYards you have, the faster you can build stuff
You Need 12 Mcv to build at full speed

If it helps, I have an intel i5 7600k, MSI GTX 1070 and 16GB RAM. I even have 2nd monitor that I use for other stuff and I can stream and record at the same time without performance drops.
@@resarium Nice that an i5 can handle this. It seems a good single core performance is also important since games whose engine is a early-2000 relic tend to run on single cores.
I have rtx 3050 and its windows 10 I lag alot until cant play this could it be compatibility issues?
@@DJNicShogun Try to change your renderer settings in the launcher until you find something that works for you. I personally use CnC-DDraw
@@resarium Sorry im kinda dumb actually in all this So my new pc will be arriving soon to install RA2 and YR i can use EA ultimate collection then after that download the Mental omega and do the folder and files? But the yuri revenge patch and all that is it already downloaded or must i self find the files

@@resarium impossible! i have i7 10700k, 16GB RAM, Gigabyte RTX 3080 and still have lag :(
@@samuelmaster5101 check your renderer settings in the client options, I personally use CnC-DDraw but everyone gets different results with different renderers
So the soviets in this mission are pure China? It means Russia and Confederation completely under Omega's control?

Soviet Russia is completely subsumed by Yuri, same with South America while the US has basically withdrawn back to Alaska to create a death fortress. The Soviets themselves evacuated to the moon to escape the influence of the mind control. Basically the Allies went super tech and create a time/space bubble that protects them from Yuri while the soviets went to space to create distance between them and Yuri while also making plans to try and reclaim Russia one day.
