Going to Scotland this December on my honeymoon! Traveling to Edinburgh and the Scottish highlands. Your videos have been so incredibly helpful, thank you so much ❤️
Wonderful video - thank you so much. I will be visiting from Germany on Dec 8 with my daugther. I love Edinburgh and have been here several times but never around Christmas time. Hence very excited :)
Girl we went day 1 Nov 15th! So crowded but so worth it! We rode of the swing! It was really cool to ride that high next to the Scott monument! I liked the long walk they created and all the lights. Super cute Christmas market. I just wish they had more home made goods. Thankful for your other recommendations to shop and support local artists! I also got a pin that you created!
Thank you so much for covering this!! When I studied abroad I went on a misadventure on my first day attempting to get a burger downtown during the market. It's good to see what it's supposed to look like while I'm not terrified and holding chippy in my hands!
Wow, the Christmas 🎄 markets there in Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴 looks very impressive! We here in London, England 🏴 already have our Christmas markets opened up like in Leicester Square area & Carnaby Street as well! Thanks for sharing Kakibot & Happy Holidays to you! ❤️💚
Only in Edinburgh would the cut down the tress besides the national gallerys to improve the accessibility in Prince street garden then block access to the same path with a gigantic light up Edinburgh sign. It a lovely photogenic sign but takes away a 3rd of the paths and stairs it could be on the grass besides the mound like it used to be besides the Norwegian tree looked fab there.
That's very true. It was a scandal cutting those trees down and now you have plastic market stalls in there place! I won't forgive Edinburgh council for doing this. Won't go back to Edinburgh!
I’m looking forward to taking a turn through it even more, now!! I love the illuminations, and that they have those photo spots set up. Definitely prepping myself for the crowd beforehand, though. 😂
I would love to go to this. Thanks so much for showing it to us. It is my dream to live in Edinburgh someday. Just a normal person going to work every day, living a normal life and enjoying the beauty of Scotland.
the odds! We went also on Saturday! (I would recommend going before sunset from the national gallery entrance, the queue after dark is too overwhelming and a long trek until the main section) I was excited for the pies as well since they have been in the George Square assembly section for two years, prices a bit high but the same as they charged for fringe this year! I do feel sad there's no chocolate strawberries and coated marshmellow stall this year or raclette (did I miss it?) also no Alanda's (I'm guessing it'll be on George's? ) This year seemed like there is less repetition and chaos but more 'engineered finesse'!
Hello wonder if that wonnt old pub our something have fun live music in edingburg scotland thanks för you videos and tips have a nice dag thom from sueden
Right next to it! There are certain exits that would take you straight to the markets entrance, but pretty much any you choose will get you like… a minute or two walk from it!
i've been there last friday just when they opened... very charming atmosphere... but the prices for food and drink..holy shit... one so-called original Bratwurst from Germany 9 £, a small cup of (bad) Glühwein 7£....but hey, i was the first time there... so only because of the vibe😄
i havnt been to the market since 2019 but this year its just sad to me, every stall is a repeat of the last and the ones that arnt are filled with tourist crap

You are on Edinburgh Live. Good luck with that.
Something to check off that '24 bingo card 😂
I was here yesterday, it was £9 for a crepe (£7 for the crepe + £2 for the Nutella)! At the Christmas markets in Germany it's like €6.
Wowwww. I love the host but I instantly clicked subscribe because of the "cinematography". So many channels would +10 with a camera person like this.
Very nice video ♡
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊Thank you awesome
As pretty as they are expensive. Worth a visit, but keep in mind that the grub will empty your wallet
And not fill your belly! #teensyweensy
£9 for a crepe..! Are you kidding me, Edinburgh? 😳
Great video, thank you!! Do you know if the markets stay open on 12/24-12/26? Or do they close for a day or two?
