This is what I love about CGBoost more than any other teacher. It's not just "here's how to operate Blender." It's "here's how to create art with Blender." Even some of the pre-CGBoost-rebrand videos were things like "here's how to make concept art" and "here's how to organize your files on your disk", which I never see anyone else talking about.
love your work, bro, I've learned some invaluable things from your tutorials, the price of the tutorial is very cheap compared to what you get if you spend the time.
Great as always. It's amazing to see, the ease with which you use with Blender and I like how you develop these tutorials. Thank you very much for your advice. They help me learn more about creating landscapes with Blender. I congratulate you again for your work.😉
Thanks for your tutorial! I would like to create some aerial views of not so epic landscapes, such as the farm lands of Ohio in the1920s. I am animating an airship and I want to create views seen from the airship or at about the same altitudes. Back when I was using Lightwave, I created a scene with a tiling landscape with atmospheric haze. Trees and crop fields I created using a texture bump map, and I made a few low poly houses, barns and silos to place in several areas. Now that I'm using Blender, I have a lot more options. I want to do something similar using different techniques for creating random farmland with roads with vehicles, rivers or creaks, lakes, scattered trees, different kinds of crops, telephone poles and lines and that sort of thing. Do you know of any existing addons that do anything like that? I know there are several scattering addons. It seems like this could be done procedurally. Some of it could be displacement like what I did before, and some things could be scattered. Geometry nodes might be helpful, but I don't know how to use them very well. Do you have any advice? Thanks!
sorry i missunderstood the description, i thought you show how to make landscape, but you just downloaded one from your friend and add details like trees etc. do you show how to create landscpe ? any other video you can recommend ? thanks sir
Wow, amazing. I will definitely do this course. Unfortunately, I was too late, so the code does not work anymore. I hope you will have a new one in 2023. I subscribed your newslatter and hope I will get there soon a code :) Happy New Year.

Hi Artiko, thanks for the question! Generally there's not a specific website, it actually really depends on the subject. Pinterest is a great website to find any kind of references, I personally use it a lot. Can't speak for @MartinKlekner but for real landscapes you can simply use Google Images search. If you need something more fantasy or concept arts, I would suggest to search also on Art Station and Behance. I personally check all of them: Pinterest, ArtStation, Behance and Google. I hope this helps. ~ Masha
Hi, those textures I got from Google Maps, using the GIS addon in Blender. I grabbed a texture of a large terrain and then played with it in Photoshop to get rid of houses, fields etc.
Hi Even I m learning blender.. I just want to know what is the best configuration required for blender... I m planing to buy new desktop (computer)... To enhance blender learning & for job also.. Please give me some suggestion to build good configuration system... Thank u sir
It is all based on your budget and also on type of work you want to do. Large scale environments are quite demanding though. Please check the comments above. ~Egon
Hello .I am making a model for turbosquid but I am getting error again and again . So is there any alternative for checkmate turboqsuid model inspection .I have read that turbosquid is working on checkmate for blender. But I want to check my model in to blender so that it could be the right mesh for all the gaming engines and for the mesh certification Program
If I get it right, the checkmate is assisted control provided by turbosquid stuff. Basically you can check it yourself if you comply with the rules they (and the gaming industry) have. www.turbosquid.com/CheckMate ~Egon
@@cgboost turbosquid had announced that the are working on checkmate for blender 2012 but still it is not provider may be the get some issues. So is there any alternate for checkmate.
The final result is impressive, thanks for sharing your knowledge, one question: What capacity does your computer have? It is to have an idea of how much my machine will suffer haha
Hi, thank you! My system: CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4,2 Ghz GPU: GeForce GTX 3070 RAM: 64 GB Nevertheless, this scene wasn't too difficult to render, since it uses only a few terrain maps.
Alternatively, Stable Diffusion allows you to generate as many images as you want since it's open source and uses your own computer's processing power. A bit of a hassle to set up. There are websites, but they limit you with credits.
Well, I think it is good for precisely this one thing: getting all sorts of visual inspiration for your personal artwork. Calling it "concept art" while using AI, thats something I do not condone though.

@3:57 I think the best tool for concept is Nvidia GAN
4:10 not only it will shape your idea, it will shape your future (when you will be left without a job)
You just said not to confuse Gobo with "Hobo"? I'd more associate the term "Gobo" with Gobo Fraggle from "Fraggle Rock".
