Excellent video, is the 400amp fuse on the negative terminal absolutely necessary ? I bought a used 400 amp controller and don't have the fuse. Can someone link the specs so I can get one?
At what point do you know the limit of a stock motor? I see alot of guys put these high amp controllers into carts but smoke there motors in 2 weeks. What is your ratio for knowing when is the maximum without doing damage?
D&D motor upgrade don't have Regen feature right so the on the fly Regen don't work? Plus this controller upgrade works with stock motor and on the fly control and xtc controller.
Great video. One question, when you Uninstalled the original controller it had two black cables, you connected one to the XLT, what did you do with the other one?
I just bough the 400 amp for my 03 cc ds, my controller only has one metal threat plates on the top in the location you put the white/blue/red wires. It has 4 connections on the bottom by the 12 pin connection point, the 4 connection points are color coded red/blue/green/black. Is this where I hook the red and blue leads?

Is it required to install a new speed sensor for this controller to work? I noticed you disconnected the old one and left it hanging.
I have a 2018 Club Car Precedent how much would a kit like this cost my cart does 20 miles an hour currently.

The controller is the middle man. The larger the controller, the more amperage it allows the motor to draw from the batteries equaling MORE SPEED!!

Flipping the run/tow switch isn't enough. You also need to disconnect the batteries.
Good catch! They must have cut that out when I did it! Always like totally removing one cable!
Does the Fuse link come with the Alltrax 500?
They use to but I think they are now sold separately.

You caught me. I missed that wire and hooked it up later. It went along with the battery negative and fed the OBC.
