The transition to AC with this kit is a bit more involved than the Navitas AC conversation but interesting as usual. Good idea to have no back seat and roof off , it made it easier to follow. I would have to go over the solenoid and tow run switch changes 20 or more times to get comfortable with it , but the first time is always like that for me. I think I would stay with Navitas just because it’s a more straight forward install but always nice to have an option. Great video as usual.

Always fun putting an AC motor in a Club Car with the body on, and usually rear seat. I normally raise the cart and drop the the axle, more on pass side than the driver, and go from below

How do you think this compares to the Navitas 600 amp/5KW AC kit with same voltage pack? That’s the real question

@@rjm789I’ve been going down this rabbit hole for a while as my Club Car DS sits at my local shop waiting for me to give them my final verdict. Navitas just has a solid reputation and excellent customer service. I don’t know anyone with Alltrax so I can’t speak from experience. But since you asked the question, how does Alltrax or Navitas compare to Teekon when you are getting more power with Teekon? How come every shop seems to be installing Navitas or Alltrax and people don’t talk about Teekon?

I’d say as long as the motor fits horizontally you’ll be good. I converted a 2001 36V DS resistor cart to Navitas 4k and love it. Max speed 35 with a single BigBattery FLCN 48V. The Navitas 5k motor is too long to fit horizontally in the DS. May be the same with this Alltrax. If you can find the dimensions of the Alltrax motor, compare it to the Navitas 4k and if it’s not any bigger it should fit your DS.
