On your AC1 Conversion Kit.
Today's video we install the Alltrax AC1 dc to ac conversion kit on our Club Car Precedent Golf Cart. This is a Rocket on 48v. However this kit will work from 24 - 72v and I plan to test all of those on the channel in the coming weeks.

Navitas Ac or Alltrax Ac… which do you like better?
Good question!
I'd like to know also
@@justinthms0815 I just bought one and I will be installing it soon.
i would also like to know
Please in another video go over top speed, range advantages, and water proof rating! Thanks Ryan! This is awesome!
Dang. That thing is wild. I think you need to do it up Boy Racer style. Put a big wing on it and stuff. Would be funny
So... the question on all of our minds now: Navitas or Alltax?
I hope to get to that! I’ve got a lot more to show!
The transition to AC with this kit is a bit more involved than the Navitas AC conversation but interesting as usual. Good idea to have no back seat and roof off , it made it easier to follow. I would have to go over the solenoid and tow run switch changes 20 or more times to get comfortable with it , but the first time is always like that for me. I think I would stay with Navitas just because it’s a more straight forward install but always nice to have an option. Great video as usual.
Always fun putting an AC motor in a Club Car with the body on, and usually rear seat. I normally raise the cart and drop the the axle, more on pass side than the driver, and go from below
How do you think this compares to the Navitas 600 amp/5KW AC kit with same voltage pack? That’s the real question
@@rjm789I’ve been going down this rabbit hole for a while as my Club Car DS sits at my local shop waiting for me to give them my final verdict. Navitas just has a solid reputation and excellent customer service. I don’t know anyone with Alltrax so I can’t speak from experience. But since you asked the question, how does Alltrax or Navitas compare to Teekon when you are getting more power with Teekon? How come every shop seems to be installing Navitas or Alltrax and people don’t talk about Teekon?
I love your videos man learn so much about them I just picked up a 2003 ezgo txt a lot to come of it
Man I wish you were my next door neighbor!! LOL
Ok, you have installed the top 3 motors so far, Navitas,Teekon and Alltrax. What is your top pick?
I wanna know the same. I currently have the Alltrax 500 non ac. It alone was a game changer. But I’m torn, do I go AC or buy a plum quick motor.
@@BrentTurcato Dont settle for a dc motor if you can help it! trust me. no comparison
I hope to discuss this soon. However there is more about this kit we are going to go over. This was already 23 minutes long, I have to more show and test.
@@Fentertainment well said. You have me sold. I greatly appreciate your content. Keep it coming!
Will a lowered ds clear a 5kw motor or will I have to go with 4kw?
I have an Envy Neighborhood electric vehicle, Know how i can make it go faster? It’s governed at 20mph
love this video man! amazing tutorial (as always) and especially the end.. man.. sooo funny!!!
Waiting for you to tell me what you think the best lithium battery to get, that’s semi budget friendly and has good range!!!
Do you need a resistor and a diode on the max-400 solenoid ? Also can I use the modz 400a solenoid?
Awesome tutorial, Ryan. Thanks my man - as always!
Any updates I’m very interested in this kit
Hmmm… seems to be possibly a Navitas eater???
I can't wait to see this on 72v!!
Have you ever thought getting a mower lift?
Hi there I wanted to know if you could help me hook up plye 4ch hydra bluetooth amp and the 12v 5amp blue light using 3 3 spot lever nuts ?
Check out my Bluetooth cooler video. I put a schematic in there how I wired mine up. Pause the video and screen shot it so you can study it.
@@Fentertainment I still have prob reading the sem diagram so how can I hook up the battery to the charge port, the switch to the amp using 3 3 spot lever nuts can you dra a better diagram thanks
@@Fentertainment can you draw me a better pic on how to hook up wired charge port,12v 6000mah rechargable Talentcell battery, the switch you use in the video using 3 3 spot lever nuts I would like it a lot thanks
Where did you get those seat covers?
Those are lazy life seats. I’ve had them for a long time. I just kept keeping them every time I sell a cart.
@@Fentertainment Yeah i dont blame you, love those seats.
Ryan you think i can put this in a club car DS ?
Might have to lift it.
@@Fentertainment I have a 6" lift on it already
Sorry to keep asking you questions brother my DS doesn't have the tow run switch In it so it probably not going to work it's a older DS
@@shawtdog iq harness swap. Pretty easy!
I’d say as long as the motor fits horizontally you’ll be good. I converted a 2001 36V DS resistor cart to Navitas 4k and love it. Max speed 35 with a single BigBattery FLCN 48V. The Navitas 5k motor is too long to fit horizontally in the DS. May be the same with this Alltrax. If you can find the dimensions of the Alltrax motor, compare it to the Navitas 4k and if it’s not any bigger it should fit your DS.
