How does this compare to the ac-dc conversion that they make? We have a tempo with lithium batteries 136ah and 23" tires

Dumb question. I have a stock 2010 Club Car DS with a 48v Evolution Lithium kit but all other stock components. Can I just add a Navitas DC controller and ride just fine or will the stock motor die soon?

5 mo. late, but for others...I called golfcartkings in Austin TX. Techs explained controller gets you the torque, little speed, motor gets you speed, little torque. Get which ever you desire first. Im reading reviews where 440 amp controller with stock motor gets about 8mph more, not much info on just the 600 amp and stock motor. @@mikes1330 the 440 and 600 should reach the same top end, the 600 will get there quicker. When I had this set up I was running the stock solenoid. However an upgraded solenoid and wires would definitely be an upgrade.
