Here am I in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, riding my couch due to a leg injury, and travelling on a winter train in Sweden, front row seating! Far from putting me to sleep, I'm fascinated to take the whole journey and, with my large screen TV, feel as though it's the next best thing to being there! Would love to take a journey with the driver on this route in winter to experience the real thing. Thank you for posting this! Makes my situation much more bearable and the journey enjoyable! Beautiful.
Thank you so much for your comment and support! We hope your injury is healing as fast as possible😊☺️
Thank you! Discovering Sweden here! In all seasons!@@SwedishRailcam
Its funny how small Swedish towns far up north look like lovely quaint little winter wonderlands, while Russian cities just over the border look like dreary, depressing, frozen hellscapes
Thank you for appreciating our country!😊
Twice I took the train from Stockholm to Härnösand, which I think was 45min north of Sundsvall. Its a lovely part of the world for sure. Really quaint towns and Really sweet people.
The results of Marxism yet people keep trying to revive and spread it
Just did that trip a week ago, it’s beautiful, live close to Östersund, this isn’t even at its most beautiful, cold sunny winter days or warm summer days are just stunning 😊
I use these videos to help me study nursing… but all I want to do now is become a train conductor 😂 these videos are amazing!
I use the "sound" of these videos to increase my focus during my work as a programmer. Thanks for sharing!😀
Thanks for leaving a comment! 😃
Same - it's cozy white noise (though, sometimes too cozy😄)
same, this channel and @passengerpov is my favorite to focus
Inget fint med de fula hyreshusen efter utfarten från Östersund😩
Merry Christmas! May harmony come to every family, wealth to every home, victory to the Ukrainian land, and with it peace and prosperity for thousands of years! Christ is born! We praise him!
I stayed in Sundsvall recently. The museum was nice, and there's a shop called Made in Medelpad where, among other things, you can buy handmade mittens. Since they're handmade, there's no consistent size - after trying on a dozen or so, you might find one that fits perfectly!
I miss Sweden.
Wow sounds amazing! You should come back to visit again😊
Such precious landscapes. I love it. ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!
Nice view! Although I daily and nightly watch such movies in real (I'm a train driver at BDZ), it's interesting to see how Swedish railroads look, and particularly the signals. My license is valid for BG, D, NL and B, so I perfectly know their signalling systems, I'm familiar with Norwegian one as well. Some of your signs and signals (as far as I see in this video) look to me strange. BTW.: What a train is behind - freight or passenger? What kind of train protection is used in Sweden?
The spoken world at the beginning are "So, we'll do the departure for train 11 in direction towards Bräcke". Not sure if that is from the control center or the train master on-board. Anyway, the answer from the driver is "Departure train 11, thank you". Since this video is just a month old, I'm guessing the train numbers hasn't changed. So I took a look at the web-site of the Swedish Department of Transportation (Trafikverket), and train 11 is a train from Duved to Stockholm. Duved is the station at the Swedish winter sport resort Åre. (Not sure what Stockholm is, though.. 😊). The train is a passenger train, and with very high likelihood a engin-and-carriages train, rather than a EMU. Guessing the loko is an RC6 is not far fetched.
Train traffic in Sweden is protected by a Swedish system (introduced in 1980) called ATC. While ATC is a generic term, it is also the name of the specific Swedish system. It is a balise-in-track, receiver-on-train system. A few recently built lines supports ERTMS.
May your days be painted in gold. May your life be filled with diamonds. May the stars shine bright on your world. May you have a fun-filled year. Happy New Year 2024!🙏🎂🎉🎂🌹
Thank you😊
A very snowy train cab ride in Sweden on the tracks with beautiful scenery on each side of the tracks and I really enjoy seeing this in the videos here
Thank You and Merry Christmas.
🇸🇪🎄☃️🎄🇸🇪
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇸🇪💨
Thank you and Merry Christmas! 😃🎄
When the train pulled into Sundsvall at the end of this video I noticed the time at the train platform read 2:48 P.M. it seemed like it does here at 6:15 p.m. (O..O).
That’s crazy☺️
It's almost like this is filmed in black and white, until the occasional red building or yellow sign comes into view
I was thinking exactly the same thing.
That's winter for you. The moment you leave the cities and towns, color is gone.
Ah super comme d'habitude, toujours un grand moment d'évasion Pour ma part moi qui suis en Île-de-France.
Merci beaucoup et bon voyage au pays du Père Noël 🌈🎅👍
Thank you! 😃
I love the little moments near the start where we hear both the driver and what I assume is a station operator speaking to each other in Swedish. Sounds so relaxing. Love the ambient noise of the train as well. 😊
Olá sou do Brasil. Linda paisagem, mas ficaria ainda melhor se fosse filmado em 4K (2160p), pois 1080 já está ultrapassada. Sugestão, câmera GO PRO HERO 9. Obrigado.
Most of our videos are in 4K but not this one unfortunately. Thank you for your recommendation of camera!😊
Incredible footage!!!
Thank you for the support😊

I love these videos. They’re so pretty & relaxing.
Thank you for watching😊
When I saw the tracks completely covered in snow, I thought for a moment the train derailed...
12:05 😮😃
Scary! Luckily that didn’t happen😊
Very relaxing, use to fall asleep 🇺🇸
Jo
The homeland of my paternal grandparents , I'd love to go visit some day , Fillipstad is the village they're from .
Amazing, you should visit☺️
Are any of these houses occupied? There are no cars or smoke from chimneys nor tracks i the snow
I've been watching some Cab View vids in my home country Australia recently. I wanted to say how lovely your land is, and how thankful I am to you and to all the others in the world who post these. You help so many of us to relax, and to enjoy seeing beyond our homes.😊❤

My hometown. So beautiful with all snow.
Wow! Östersund or Sundsvall?🤩
@@SwedishRailcam Östersund. :) Skall upp i sommar, det är en underbart vacker sträcka från Stockholm upp till Östersund.
Norwey beautiful. İ form turkey.
Yes that’s true, our neighbours have a beautiful country!😊
So nice... What a beautiful country.....wow
Beautiful train trip. Australia.
Thank you!
vilken hastighet ?
Som snabbast gick det i 160 km/h men oftast inte så snabbt😊
2:19:00 if this was Florida (sans snow of course) Brightline would be slamming into cars about now because people are too dumb to obey the warning gates.
Well yeah you ARE talking USA not the brightest light bulbs here. And Florida's the melting pot of stupidity we get it all... 22m of us more than in Sweden and Norway combined can you believe it?
Marvelous video. Thank you.
Adding the name of some intermediate stations from time to time would be helpful for the orientation.
Best regards
That’s true thank you for your feedback😄
