@@carmenwhitehead they are not described as having red but there are many plants that pop up with red under certain growing conditions. I just know that’s what they just shipped, hope you hear from them I kind of hope they shipped something miss labeled or unintentional….
I got a Plumeria at my local Lowe's. Not enough sun for it on my balcony, though. Before I bought it, I asked my daughter if I could use a sunny out of the way spot in hers and my son-in-law's yard. I babysit the grandkids four days a week, so I'll be able to take care of it and hopefully see flowers soon.
I found out from Jaclyn's Jungle that you can send Costa Farms a message and they'll email you the name of the aglaonema variety. I did that with the pink siam I bought at Walmart in May
I just got a reply from them in the comments here. They say it is a variety of Spathonema with a red stripe. Wow! And I got it on clearance some how. I need to buy a lottery ticket now! 😂.
Very nice Aglonema, Carmen! Hopefully you will receive a response from Costa Farms with the ID. I went to my local Lowes & Home Depot yesterday around 4pm hoping to find a White Princess but no luck. I only found two very sad looking Pink Princesses. Those Alocasia Silver Dragons are amazing looking. Absolutely in beautiful condition. Too bad my local store didn’t have any as I would have picked up one of those!
Nice deal! Watch, it'll be some kind of super rare plant that was grown for something super top secret and it has yet to be listed. (That would be cool.) A place you may want to try for identifying the plant might be one of the schools in Florida offering Ag Science, botany or landscape architecture. Just a thought, good luck finding the answer I'll be curious to know what it is.
Score!!! I don't know that I've ever seen that one, plus it was a really good price a win all the way around. Stay cool in the Florida heat and humidity. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
Carmen, love your plant tours. The baby Orchids are so pretty. Nice variety at your store. Happy clearance plant. Is that a Red Chinese Evergreen Aglaonema? I had one that grew about 2 feet tall and turned very red in the Spring when in good light. Enjoy. Love. Sherry.🥰🙏💞🪴
Carmen, nice deal, you have a great eye for the clearance plants. I usually buy sone just for the pots because by the time I get to it it’s beyond saving. I was going to suggest everything that you already did, google search, the costa farms website etc. let’s see if the reach out to you. The plant ID apps are useless, so vague😫🥰. Stay safe and keep us updated 🪴🫶
Yes, I've purchased a few just for the pots alone and they're great deals. This was shear luck. I just got a reply from Costa and they say it is a Spathonema with a red stripe. Wow!
Yeah Carmen, nice job. I’m going tonight after work to buy some unrelated items with the hubby and I’ll happen to stroll to the plant section, like he hasn’t seen that before☺️🤣😂. Hopefully your good luck will catch on🫶. Have a great weekend. It is such a beautiful plant, a cross between a Chinese evergreen and a peace Lilly 🤩
Just watched Garden Girl’s you tube “48 Varieties of Aglaonema”, no green leaf with red stripe…but for $7 what a nice plant, I love the variegation on yours too…might be interesting to see what it matures into! 🌱😊
You’ll have to do an update on the mystery plant. My Lowes doesn’t put the houseplants on clearance until they are totally crispy and way beyond revival.

Spathonema aglaonema
You think so? I didn't think they had the red lines. I'll keep checking.

Hi! It's Aglaonema Red Stripe. 😀 Spathonema has a different variegation pattern. Apologies for inconvenience!
@@CostaFarms Yay! Thanks so much for helping me out! I love the plant it's gorgeous!
@@carmenwhitehead: Thanks so much for giving her a great home! We hope you continue to enjoy her. 💚

That's a great idea for your plumeria. I think I need to get one next time I see it.
I go to the clearance at Lowes just for the pots. Sometimes you can get a bonus plant that you can rescue. 🙂
Yes, I've done that too.
Yay!!! So glad Costa Farms got back to you, such a beautiful plant! Congrats, and the price! Double whammy!!!🤗💚🌱🤗💚🌱
Thanks so much! 😊

Oooooo....I like mysteries. Watching now...

Peace lilly
Was that a silver band maranta?!? 😮
This looks similar to my lemon lime pothos that have those long leaves except it’s darker green
I'm pretty sure that is a aglonema rotundum.
it looks like a peace lily to me
Aglaonema Commutatun Red Vein? Maybe it's still immature and will redden more later?
Hi Carmen....always fun to find a deal...even if you don't know what it is.😎🇨🇦😎
I know right! Always a good thing.
You’ll have to do an update on the mystery plant.
My Lowes doesn’t put the houseplants on clearance until they are totally crispy and way beyond revival.
This Lowes is actually pretty good even if you request a discount on a plant that isn't on clearance. 😊.
She is a beauty! I don't know the name, but she is fabulous!
I'll figure it out some way. Thanks for watching Rachael!
First time I see it.
Mystery Im in! ☺️
Usually I like murder mysteries, but a plant one is fun too.
Ask Connie! I feel like she would know!
I'm hoping she'll watch the video and tell me. If not I'll message here. Costa Farms told me it was a Silver Bay. What? ummm, no.
@@carmenwhitehead Ha
Maybe the green papaya?
Ahhh, that's a good one. I have the golden papaya. I'll have to research the green one. thanks!
I think it is just called Aglaonema red vein 😊
Sounds good to me. Costa Farms told me it was a Silver Bay, ummm, no.
It's pretty 💚🪴💚👍🏽
I think so too!
❤
Hi Carmen is it a aglonema rotundum?
Hmmm, not sure, I'll have to check on that one.
I like finding weird things
Looks like spathonema
I looked at the Spathonema and it doesn't have a red line.
@@carmenwhitehead that's very true. Color wise it is different than all the ones I've seen....let's see what others say!
