Hi Jaclynn 💫 I so feel your pain and exhaustion with whatever this virus is going around. My whole entire house has had it going on a week now and it will not let up!! Wishing us all better health in the New Year! Stay warm and healing prayers headed your way. 🙏🏻💫 🏔️
My daughter and I have not felt well the last day or two but not exactly sick. She has asthma too so I definitely understand your struggle. I hope you are better very soon.
Yeah that silver dragon don’t be fooled by how full it is. I bought one that looked just like that super full ton of leaves and even had a bloom bought it it was rotted and dead within a week and I didn’t even water it once and didn’t want to repot right away as it looked fine and wanted to let it acclimate a bit first - lucky I got about 15 corms from it all of which are growing in a prop box now!
Great plant shopping with you! Here in Ga the chances of finding something unique at a big box store is slim to none. However, I did find one sad, Snowcap Hoya which has become a huge, beautiful and prolific bloomer. (after repotting) Also check the tiny cactus section for rare Rhipsalis. And no, I’ve never seen anyone purchase a painted cactus 🌵 😂
Took my grandkids to Walt Disney World for Christmas and ended up with the flu. A week later and I'm still battling a bad cough and tiredness (immuno compromised here 🙋♀). Gotta love it.
New Hampshire resident here. I’m very excited that you’re moving up here and your shopping videos will be filmed at places closer to me! I’m guessing you went to Cole Gardens after Home Depot. I bought a baby Thai constellation there and now it’s huge and beautiful. The Knotted Finds is a nice plant shop in Merrimack. Also the Potting Shop in Laconia is cute with some rarer plants. Worth the trip to see the owner’s beautiful variegated Billietiae and caramel marble. And you definitely have to go to Wentworth Greenhouse in Rollinsford - that place is amazing!
I came down with it on a Christmas Eve. Walgreens had ONE box of Brand name antihistamine on the shelves in Ft. Collins, Colorado!! guess it's everywhere!!😮😢
You saw a lot more on the East Coast than we have on the West Coast! The Home Depot in Spokane WA doesn't have anything right now, and Lowe's has very little. I love your channel ❤️
I keep finding a lot of neat Proven Winners stuff at Home Depot lately. Picked up a beautiful, huge Mayoi with two plants in the pot for $30 yesterday!
Love your videos! They are so informative and I really enjoy watching them. I am also recovering from the funk that’s going around. I also wanted to pop in here to say that Easter Lillies and sago palms WILL kill your cats. Easter with renal failure and sago with liver failure. They are sold as house plants up here in the north. Even the pollen from them… I’ve seen it in vet med more times than I would like to count.
I should have been more specific! I was speaking mostly on aroids, and the common ones people say will harm your animals. I hate seeing people so afraid to have plants in their home!! But yes, Sago pslms are no bueno! I honestly forget they exist, though, I won't lie 🤣
@@jaclynns.jungle hope you’re feeling better! I found 3 different kinds of lipstick plants and 3 kinds of Hoya at my local Lowe’s today! The names escape me though.
Whelp, you saved me from making a trip to Concord. The closest box store to me is in West Lebanon, NH and it's not great. I was thinking about wondering down to Concord in hopes it would be better.
Aw Jaclyn the day after Xmas my baby and 8 yr old got so sick, then the next morning I caught a awful cold I have no idea what it was put it actually put us out, and usually nothing puts my whole house out. Take care of yourself girl! Stay hydrated! Rest rest rest! ❤
⛰️⛰️⛰️ I was right there with you the whole video.... my brain hasn't been braining either....we too have had the "ick" not sick but just plain gross lol
I would like more info on how to tell the difference between the white philos: princess, knight, wizard. I'm not big on pink varigaetion but do like the white varigaetion. Think that's why I'd get a PPP marble if I find a pretty one.
@@jaclynns.jungle nope Im good. I actually watched her other videos on pothos and philodendron and found them very informative. Am still curious about the difference in the epipremnum world.
You said house plants won’t kill your pets well I lost a 7 month cat of mine so I went through all my house plants any plants weren’t good for my cats I gave them away, the cat I lost was a cool cat and I missed him
I'm sorry to hear that. They have to eat a lot for it to be harmful, and some plants contain more toxins than others. So it's good to know your pets' behaviors and which plants are best to stay away from!
When the plants look like that st the Wal-Mart in Canon City, CO. I complain to management!! They Actually told me a couple months ago that they did not have anyone working in the garden center!!🤔😢
Okay y’all I once killed a Dracena that got pretty tall and was beautiful until one day it just fell over 😅 probably root rot but I was a plant newby back then so I had no idea 😂
I beg to differ! I am keeping a croton alive and he is currently blooming, but for the life of me, my poor Draenea Cornelius is so pathetic. Yellow spots, dark brown leaf edges, I don't even know what to do for him. I want to repot him in the spring, but I don't want to do it in the house because he has these tiny red bugs in his pot. I never see them on HIM, there is no webbing, I only see them when I water and they run up the pot edge. I've watered him with hydrogen peroxide. I've sprayed him with spinosad. I've sprayed him with alcohol, soap, hydrogen peroxide mix. I feel like a failure!! 😢😢 Hope you are feeling better quickly!
You're not a failure!! Sounds like that plant just needs a little love in terms of what you water into the soil!! I have a video on what I use to keep mine healthy and happy!!
@@jaclynns.jungle me either! More than once I've walked by them when they're putting on a show and thought wow. Wow but no. They can be enticing though.
It's not, though. It's the same toxicity as every other Aroid. Like I said, some have more oxalates than others, but none are poisonous. Your animal would have to eat more than its body weight in Peace Lily for it to be "incredibly toxic." Feel free to look into it further on your own, though.
I bought a albo from costas farms website last month they are all horrible looking even the one I got that’s probably why no one’s talking about it very low variegation on all iv seen posted
Hey Jac💞💞 I haven't been out doing any plant shopping. When I start working I'm definitely gonna hit the stores. I need some plant shopping therapy. I've never seen anyone buy those awful painted cacti. I probably would have gotten that yellow variegated Epi. By February I'll be back in the Plant Fam Fam. Things have just been a little crazy, life just life-ing. ⛰⛰🏔🏔🗻🗻
🤗❤️💚🙏🌱🌾🌿🪴Hope you feel better soon. Thirsty plants drooping make everything else look worse. Pretty jungle boogie and some cute hanging pots. Hot sauced the leaves on my peace lily to keep the kitties from nibbling the leaves. 🏞🏔⛰️
You always seem to find beautiful Orchid Cactus. I've never seen one here at my big box stores in Ontario, Canada😒 I had a cat chew on a Deffenbachia years ago before information was so widely available on toxicity., and the poor guy lost his "meow". He never did get it back, he squeeked!🏔⛰🏔

Should have gotten vaccinated! I haven't had the flu in decades and am still a Covid virgin.
@@lindaschad9734 Why would you reply with a such a comment? No one said it was Covid or Flu… which it was neither.

Hi from nc. I've been feeling the exact same way. Lots of people having the same issue. It's so weird and strange. Hope you feel better soon!
I bought mine this past month. Love it!

This exact thing happened to me with a bunch of Hoya from a specific seller. Now I know to always check roots as soon as I get a plant!!
Started as a cold - sinus headache- cough - then today tested positive for Covid
Booo - hope everyone feels better soon
Oh no!! You feel better!!! We're getting much better here 🙏🏼💜

I would have grabbed a jungle boogie, I haven't found one at a big box store here in TN yet
I hope you find one!! They're so big!! 😍
Thank you for brightening my year. 🌞
Don’t go anywhere; I’ll be right back.
😺✌️
I appreciate you and all your comments 😅☺️🥰
Yes this cold but not cold stuff going on in my fam too! Nice to see what’s happening over east bc I am west 🌱💚 hope we all feel better soon
Hope you're feeling better!!
Also a video on the world of epipremnum would be interesting.
Heyyy I live in Nashua haha we have a lot of good find in Salem Lowe’s and Home Depot! I found all my stuff there that’s trending
That's good to know!! Thank you!! 😊
Sick in WI, too. Going to a nice plant shop next week and going to TREAT MUHSELF 😂
20:00 now I want another one!
The Scindapsus? They've been popping up a lot lately ✨️

As much as you love plants it's kinda funny how picky you're being about what you put in your gecko homes. I thought that little begonia was cute.
