Love the pot your Partridge is in!!! Wow your patio plants look awesome!!! 🤗💚🌱💚🌱 I agree on the moisture meter, always use mine also! 👍😉 You reminded me, I used to water my houseplants in the 70's with my Aquarium water, omg the grew like crazy!!!
Holy Ghost 😱🤩😍! Your plants are certainly loving your Florida patio💖💓. I received a Euphorbia ghost for my birthday in January. It arrived at 10 inches tall, rooted and wrapped in tissue paper. I planted her and put her next to my Euphorbia trigona Rubra. Ruby is a beast. Rubra came from Home Depot at about 6 inches tall. She is now almost 3 feet tall and full of pups. Ghost has done nothing.😢. What the heck!?!? So glad that you are feeling better 🥰.
I'm happy you are feeling better! Your patio plants are amazing. Your euphorbia is AMAZING! Your tropical plant that looks like a regal shield is so pretty! 😊
When I do partial water changes on my fish tanks I save the water i've removed in buckets to use for my plants, any fish waste in them will go on help my plants thrive. So if anyone has fish tanks, reuse your water! But as you say using the dechlorinator certainly helps too if you're using tap water. And yes with you on Sansaveria!
Carmen, as I re-watch this excellent video, I hope you are doing well. It seems a long time since I've heard your wonderful and soothing voice talk about your favorite succulents. Blessings and prayers. Sherry 🥰 🙏 💞
Glad you are feeling better. Your plants are doing beautifully. I too use water conditioner for my plants, thanks to Sheffield made plants' viewer. My Dracaenas are no longer getting brown dry tips.
Wisdom teeth are the worst! I'm glad you're feeling better. The differences between zone 9b in Arizona and 9b in Florida are mind-blowing. Nothing on my patio is happy right now other than the baby adenium that has doubled in size since June. The happy plants have been hiding inside in the ac with me under grow lights. 😂😂
I hate that I waited until I was 58 to deal with them! LOL! You're right 9b is definitely different here. The Arizona heat just burns everything. I remember having to protect even my cactus from getting burned.
@carmenwhitehead I had my wisdom teeth removed at 17, and I'm glad they were taken out. They were causing a lot of pain. I didn't even bother trying to grow in my apartment backyard this year. The complex thought that solid iron fencing and river rock were a good idea. It's an oven back there and kills every plant. Thankfully, I have a front patio. I'm looking forward to November when the tomato plant that I've kept alive will actually be able to produce tomatoes for me. I'm glad I decided to try growing dwarf tomatoes inside under my grow lights. I've had a steady supply of fresh cherry tomatoes for a year.
Carment, that euphorbia milk tree has been on my wishlist for a very long time. I found the green variegated version at walmart for $5, but she is very small....very small (4/5 inches tall). I still love her, but that white ghost is the real g.o.a.t. I love your plants
Hi Carmen I’m so happy to see you again, I haven’t see your videos since you moved to Florida, but today I found you . I’m from Tucson and always watched your videos , now I become your subscriber. I’m glad your doing great and your plants too!!! 🙏🤗💚🌺
Hi Carmen I love all your July favorites I not sure which one I love the most. I never leave a comment but I do look at your videos. I decided to tell you what I do as far as watering my plants and I do see a difference but I use water from my refrigerator it seems to help over the plane, tap water.
I just got my 2nd yucatan princess alocasia! The big nice ones like the one you found has never come to town! Mine has 2 leaves and is bigger than my first starter....but ordered one right away when the 1st ine died! Yours is a beauty! So happy for you!
This aloe is so beautiful! I have to find this kind for my collection aswell 😍 I also know few people who water their plants with fishtank water, and plants love it. I wish I'd knew that trick when I had my fishtank 😄
@@carmenwhitehead thats so fun. My oldest daughter loves plants too we always talking about them sending each other shorts and clippings. It adds to the friendship between us for sure. I tried to make my mom planty lady given her plants for years she just not into them like that.
@@carmenwhitehead itd be a cute video idea to show us some shots of her collection like some her favorites she adopted from you or longest owned plant or something. My grandma had a Christmas cactus from her mom so beautiful i love hearing about stuff like that
Yes, always sanseveria! Beautiful succulents! I'm afraid to chop mine, but guess I will give it a try. The chipmunks dig up my succulents if I put them outside☹️
Hi Carmen, I’m glad you are feeling better after your dental procedure, that’s never fun. Great plant choices for the month of July, especially the dragon bones euphorbia, I love mine and she’s a fast grower in the summer. Rain water is key, and when you live in Florida, you’re good in that department 😂. We are having a mild drought here in the Long Island area, so hopefully this week we’ll get some. I’m subscribed to Sheffield plants too, he’s so funny and informative at the same time. I’m glad that you found the water additive, I would see how it turns out, he swears by it. Have a great Sunday 🫶
I'll keep you updated on the plants and how they do with the conditioner. One thing I didn't talk about was my using the Plant Juice fertilizer. I haven't used it with the conditioner. I've only been using it with the rain water.
🤔I wonder if it makes a difference. Maybe experiment like Sheffield plant’s does, one with and one without the conditioner. Did you see recently he watered a plant using milk😳🥹
Hi Carmen! I think that alocasia may be a plumbea rubric. I have a small one, but it has the same shape leaves, red stem, and black under tones on the green. I love all your July plants! 😊🪴
Hi Carmen, nice to see a new video. It is so interesting to see how the euphorbia and sansevieria change with sunlight. Oh do pls give us an update on the water conditioner.
Snzke plants and all your plants are looking good. Your moonshine snake plant is beautiful. I have one. The growth on mine is not as good as you have gotten. Have a blessed day Carmen.
Carmen I am fascinating with your coffee subscription and I had no idea you are a fellow countrywoman ❤. The plants look amazing. I wish I was as good at growing cacti and succulents because I love them but I kill them all.
enjoyed the video, your plants look so beautiful. you do such a great job with them. i am getting better with mine. but, they look nothing like yours. lol be safe.
Carmen! Your white ghost is so beautiful! I just have one piece that is doing ok but not much growth! I dream to have a nice big one some day! Love it so much! I believe I have that aloe and I wrote a name tag for it as the name you stated! I will tske a closervlook online to make sure! Loved this vjdeo so juch! ♡tina
Mine was small for the first couple of years and then one day it just started taking off and in the last year it's really grown a lot. Light seems to be the key I think.

That's good to use filtered water. I use to have a britta filter on my kitchen faucet. I'm not able to attach one here.
Where's Carmen?!
Hi Carmen, Love the aloe partridge breast and ghost euphorbia. They sure love the Florida weather.
Yes, surprisingly they love the weather here.
I just got my 2nd yucatan princess alocasia! The big nice ones like the one you found has never come to town! Mine has 2 leaves and is bigger than my first starter....but ordered one right away when the 1st ine died! Yours is a beauty! So happy for you!
I'm so glad I now know it's ID. What a beauty it is and seems like a good grower.
Hello Carmen from Puerto Rico!!! Nice plants!! Get better soon!! 🙋🏼♀️🌿🪴💚🌱

Thank you! 🪴
The alocasia is an alocasia Yucatán Princess
Thanks so much Natasha! I knew it was something different.
How fun that your mom loves plants too!! Does she have a collection like you?!

Hi Carmen, I recently got a pitcher plant and now find myself also collecting rain water. Thanks for the tip about the water conditioner. How timely!

I think the sun exposure has really helped it get those light shade leaves.
