I specialize in compinent level industrial board repair. With a focus on test equipment/metrology gear. I have been stunned at the complexity and design genius displayed in high end electronic watches. I had no idea they could be so perfectly realized.
Everything from ceramic substrate boards, to "hardened" components. Usually stuff only seem in the aerospace industry.
I guess it never occurred to me there are electronic watches just as high end as some of the mechanical.
I have the same watch, terrible rotation piece but as a daily its fantastic....🏴⌚🏴⌚

Yes a quartz with a rechargeable battery that is charged via an automatic style rotor from the movement of your wrist
