I love BOTH. Thanks for providing clear explanations for what you use and why. I love seeing so many aquarium plants included in your builds, as I'm also an aquascaper.
I WISH I could get that leca you use here in the states. All we have access to here are the hideous reddish brown balls that look awful in a terrarium. You have access to a nice looking raw gray chunk that looks amazing as a drainage layer. I tend to use black lava rock instead of leca because of this. Anyway, awesome terrarium as usual, man. You make some really cool designs.
Wonderful tutorial ❤️ I think I can do this! It's beautiful 😍 I like the newest terrarium, the cliffs. If I had to choose 😊 but I'd love to have a collection like yours. It's amazing 👏
Is there a way I can get the mixture of mulch without having to buy a ton of bags for most of it to go to waste because I only want to use my mulch for a single terrarium
What a great build mate! I'm about to reopen my Terrarium business here in the US, and can't wait to share some builds with you! Your mini and nano paladariums are inspiring! Could you do a video on maintenance for them sometime?
I like the cliff face a lot. It actually brings me a question. I paint miniatures figures, for table top RPGs, would it be bad to put one in a terrarium?
Love both! I think I err towards the one made in this video though. The deep valley concept is really cool. Do you have a video or plan to make one on how you make these “boxes”? I’d love to make my own square glass terrarium as well.
Love it. Also, mentioned on a past post that you and serpa inspired me to try my hand - and I'm now officially in the club! I made two terrariums with 6" wide 18" tall vases, and they now sit on either side of my desk. Not sure if the ficus pumilla will survive, though. It got caught in a cold snap during shipping and the leaves were turning white :(
@Terrarium Designs oh thank you very much! I also tried that but with hot water and some citrus acid (that I let sit for a bit because of dried algea) j hope that won't damage the tank in the long run? Thank you again for the answer !!
Nice build. You said "after all plants can always be uprooted and moved, rocks can not" Sounds backwards to me. Easier to move a rock than pull out roots and replant them. Just don't glue the rocks together. In a small set up like this no need to bond the rocks together. Not like there is plate tectonics going on in there.
Everyone has their own way :) I do bot, depends on what build in making. Also the roots are pulled out easily with the soil. Just make sure you take out most of the roots because they can start rot. And clean the soil or put new soil
Idk why but the spiderwood kinda look like aliens to me at the beginning. So I was basically like "Oh, Look! Alien giraffes!" Which then lead me to freaking out when you put the plants in, because it now look like the plants are tryna choke out the aliens. I can't unsee it, that's the worst part.

i like how the two cubes look like two halves of the same landscape
I never thought about it like that! You’ve given me an idea😅
These NEED to be seen by more people🤩
Fantastic. I love the way the moss can so easily mimic the appearance of grass and small plants along a landscape. Picturesque.
Yes me too! Thanks😃
I love BOTH. Thanks for providing clear explanations for what you use and why. I love seeing so many aquarium plants included in your builds, as I'm also an aquascaper.
Thank you! Yes I love aquarium plants & aquascaping too!:)
Your explanation is simple and straight forward. 👍🏼
Great to hear! Thanks for watching:)
love this mountain , wooooooooow
I loved this one. Realy natural looking rocky jungle
I really enjoy these videos. My favorites are paludariums.

Yes small black lava rock is a great alternative!
I prefer the one on the right but I like both
I love them both. You really are an expert terrarium maker. Great imagination and creativity. 👍👍
Thanks so much!
Awesome scape, I love it
Thank you!
Beautiful creation
He is the best ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wonderful tutorial ❤️ I think I can do this! It's beautiful 😍
I like the newest terrarium, the cliffs. If I had to choose 😊 but I'd love to have a collection like yours. It's amazing 👏
Thanks so much! Yes you should definitely give it a go:)
Maybe add a few strands of F. quercifolia to the right cliff? Sort of creeping vines?
I think that’s a good idea! Thanks:)
looks really cool! the spider wood makes me think of the aliens from Arrival lol
Great build! Christmas moss is great but it's super super slow I've found!
Thanks! Yeah you’re right, can be a positive thought as it requires less maintenance:)
Is there a way I can get the mixture of mulch without having to buy a ton of bags for most of it to go to waste because I only want to use my mulch for a single terrarium
beaultiful ate
Brilliant!
Thanks!:)
❤

😮wow

Thank you! Sure I can if a maintenance video:) & good luck with your terrariums too!
Me and my brother love you
Nice work
Thank you!
I l o v e your tutorials!!! 😍💕💕
Thank you:)
I like the first one better. Also pls 1 month update
Will do an update in the near future:)
Personnel fav the one on the left.
Great choice! I love how the green of the plants contrast the grey rocks, really makes them pop!:)
@@TerrariumDesigns yeah spot on
Need an update on tis tank...lol👍

How long spring tail culture survive in the original container? Great videos btw
I'm curious if you ever use Rainbow Moss "Selaginella Peacock Uncinate" in any of your terrarium builds?
12:40 they look like the same tank cut in two
Love it.
Also, mentioned on a past post that you and serpa inspired me to try my hand - and I'm now officially in the club! I made two terrariums with 6" wide 18" tall vases, and they now sit on either side of my desk.
Not sure if the ficus pumilla will survive, though. It got caught in a cold snap during shipping and the leaves were turning white :(
Absolutely love to hear that! Hopefully the ficus will bounce back, even if it drops all its leaves it can grow them back once it’s settled:)
Will twigs and branches decay over time?
How often do you water and how long do you give it light each day?
How do you treat your spider wood before use to stop mold building up ?
I got green mold on my spider wood after a few days.
do you glue the rocks to the bottom or the walls
Hope you enjoy the video!
Got any suggestions for the next nano cube build?👀
May I know how long the terrarium needs to be under light? 6 hours a day?
I prefer one that doesn't cost electricity ! 😊
is it posible to use marbles as the drainage layer
I do see why you couldn’t:)
Where can I get the moss and the plants?
How did you clean the tank before filling it? I'm trying to find an easy way to do it without using many chemicals that I can't get anyways
I just use water & a sponge:)
@Terrarium Designs oh thank you very much! I also tried that but with hot water and some citrus acid (that I let sit for a bit because of dried algea) j hope that won't damage the tank in the long run?
Thank you again for the answer !!
That shouldn’t damage the tank at all, stubborn algae stains can be a pain!😅

Just don't glue the rocks together. In a small set up like this no need to bond the rocks together. Not like there is plate tectonics going on in there.
Thanks! You are partly correct, but glueing them together make’s maintenance 100x easier, no need to worry about nocking rocks over into the glass:)
Everyone has their own way :) I do bot, depends on what build in making. Also the roots are pulled out easily with the soil. Just make sure you take out most of the roots because they can start rot. And clean the soil or put new soil
I can still see the tissue

@@TerrariumDesigns Love it enough to make a terrarium with that idea in mind? 🤔
