It seems like ages since I last made a proper terrarium on the channel. So, I took the idea of a zen garden and combined it with a terrarium. What do you think of the result? I think it turned out awesome. I hope you all enjoyed the video and have a great weekend! PS - Sorry for the late upload. This one took AWHILE to edit.
Hello again 👋, you my friend do not need to apologise for being late in upload I would wait for time 🤗🤗 Helpful and caring for creating life. Have a great time this weekend. Blessed Be 🤗😎
@@saqquire Sapphire I would like to say Hello 👋 and thanks and hope you remember to take pictures often so you can see the time laps to see what you have made and how Nature finds a way always. Thanks for the communication and Blessed Be 🤗
Maaaaaaaaan, soooooo delicate, so detailed,so small and so beautiful. I love working with small detailed ideas,it is very time consuming but in the end its worth it. Kudos to you again you never cease to amaze me Tanner. I am so thankful and honored to be part of the Serpa squad . Keep it coming and keep up the incredible art of nature. Loving it!
People hate on hot glue way too much. It has a specific use case and this is a perfect usage for it. No one is building houses with it, but for small crafts that aren’t moving much it’s perfect
I respect people that use hot glue, largely because it means they have the patience of a saint if they can deal with all of the glue strings getting all over the place. They just drive me crazy, and are seemingly almost impossible to entirely remove, so I tend to avoid my hot glue gun like the plague.
Tanner, as always, you're kept things as cheap and DIY as possible while making a piece among envy from professionals! This was an amazing video, and something I could see myself doing (if i ever find the motivation since i know it wont be as stellar as yours).
Oh dear, a candle holder becomes a terrarium. I love it. Everything starts looking like aquariums, terrariums, ponds etc.... Vases, candle holders, fruit bowls, terracotta garden pot pond... I love it when items like that can be repurposed and reused. Great work again....
I found your channel today after searching for terrarium ideas. I've watched several of your videos and can't believe how creative and talented you are. Everything you do is beautiful, functional... and basically perfect. You make things which I look for in stores, but never find. I just watched the mini-aquarium for snails, and was left speechless, but now, this zen garden triple terrarium.......no words!!
Dude I was blown away when you placed the clear marbles! You’re so creative I really like watching your videos, they’re so calming to me. I wish I could shrink down to fairy size so I can explore cool terrariums like this. 🧚🏻♀️🏞 Good work dude! 🌱🐸👍🏻
This might be my favourite video that I have seen on this channel. The vibe of the video, the easy to follow tutorial, the end result. This is the sort of content that can inspire people. I wish this sort of stuff would be promoted more, since it shows how just a bit of work can create an amazing result for yourself and others.
Your creativity never ceases to astound me. The terrariums are not only beautiful but they serve the same purpose as a full-scale zen garden - gazing for hours without boredom.
I like the one with the dragon wood the best! Your terrariums truly are the most mystical, wonderful, and serene ones out there. The way you explain the process of building it is also very calming and therapeutic. Thank you for this.
I think this build is absolutely lovely. My favorite sphere is the left, because it looks like a tiny scene in a forest with miniature ivy! One of these days I will build my own terrarium, you inspire me so much Tanner!
I used to have the exact container that I bought about 7 years ago with the intention to make terrariums, but I never did! Mine didn’t have a stand with it though. This video really fulfills my previous desire to turn it into a terrarium and I love it!!! Beautiful work, as always.
Spectacular !!! Its a most beautiful piece. I'm so happy you had a vision to use these for something other than a candle. Your design elevated the piece.
I think this is one of my favourite terrariums since I started watching back in the Spring. I agree that the tray could be larger if it is to be used as a zen garden, but the footprint does look nice for the size of the terrariums. The marble on top was the perfect final touch.
My favorite is : all the 3 of them, plus the tools aswell, the container with those open connections/passing through, the base.. they all complement each other very well and the result is so peaceful
UA-cam randomly recommended this channel, and I'm happy that the algorithm actually worked out positively for once. I'd second that the center bulb was my favorite. I know Tanner was going for a forest look, but it really reminded me of how when you're approaching a beach, and the grass starts to give way to the sandy shoreline. Love it. Also, a lot of people sleep on how useful a solid wire is as a tool. Back during one of my old jobs, I considered it one of my best tools.
My favorite is in the center as well, Does anyone else see the piece of wood that looks like an old woman with a big smile on her face and waving as if to say "HELLO". It's the far right piece of wood in the center globe. When i first saw it going in it looked like it she was saying "Yay, I got picked". I love these videos! Tanner, you do such beautiful work.
Awesome build as always! I’m always so mesmerized by zen gardens and I’m super glad to see this implemented in your builds! Perhaps one day we could see a build on a bigger scale :D maybe with a bonsai maple or a levitating pot!
This is a super cool build; I love minimalist aesthetics! I think this and the stalactite are my favorites lol You should totally do more projects like this
I just like the idea that someone gives this guy a gift or something for Christmas and he's staring at the container like. "Man....I can probably make a terrarium out of this." 😂
12.14 am here but your videos are worth staying up for. I like the marbles to seal with- they blend in well. I like all 3 spheres pretty evenly but if I HAVE to choose I like the centre best.
Hi Serpa! Another awesome vid! Funny thing is, I was just looking through your videos lately and did notice that it had been a while since you've done a terrarium build! Glad you're back at it. Quick question: You got me into terrariums this last year, and since then, I've been hooked. I followed your video on moss propagation for my first one. It's been great, and I've been able to find around ten different species to add. However, after a couple of months, mold started to appear. At first I just dunked the moss in a hydrogen peroxide + water mixture, which worked pretty well. It kept coming back though, so I added springtails. While I'm sure the springtails have been helpful, the mold remains. I can't use my old hydrogen peroxide mixture, because I read that it kills the springtails. I have the terrarium under this grow light for 10 hours a day. The moss is looking great, but the mold sort of ruins the aesthetic. Do you ever have similar problems with your setups? If so, what would you do about it in my case?
It can happen sometimes due to lack of airflow. If you can install a small fan on the side to keep the air moving, it should stop occurring. Something tiny like these should work. www.amzn.com/B08948MT6F/ EDIT get the 5V USB one.
@@SerpaDesign Thank you so much! I'll definitely have to try those out. Just want to let you know how much of an impact you're having! Rooting you on to 1mil subscribers!
@@parmerapps69 I found that too much light contributed to the problem as well. Over a year later, no more mold or algea, after switching my moss to live under my Dr Walstad inspired rack w/ shop lights (timer is on at 8:30 am, off at 1 pm, back on at 5 pm, off at 10 pm) Aquariums no longer grow algae, either.
This guy drives me crazy with the level of hie creativity. I wanna meet him in person and compliment him for his dexterity and excellent aesthetic imagination
This channel is 🔥. Years ago I made a couple sand Zen Gardens very similar to yours minus the terrariums. Wow this blows my mind. I like putting my favorite little rocks and crystals in the sand. Sometimes they get buried only to be found again. So much fun and relaxing. Thanks for sharing 👍
I think it's really beautiful and you don't need much space for it to make it a wonderful deco piece. I like the middle one best too as it reminds me of the German coasts with its sand and the sticks pointing upwards for the preservation of the sand and the plants from the wind. 😊👏
I could watch these videos forever, relaxing, interesting, always learning how much fun it is to create things, without hurrying into the store right away to buy them. Just love the Zen Garden tools

something i love about artists is, that no matter the level or detail of craft, hotglue will always be a tool. its just so silly

Excellent alternative
Did the spider in the Sphagnum Moss in the last bubble stay in the build? Love this idea! It looks amazing! :-)
