make one for beginners but a little bigger with an increasing challenge scale/more variety/more skills needed. that would be superb. just bought your ebook about terrariums and it´s a great start! Thanks!
Hey i was wondering if you could do a darkwater setup for a blue crawfish and small purple scholing fish. I think the bright colors in the darkwater would bring it all together. Your fan lawson
Hi! First of all, amazing video! The way you explain things is so easy to understand and yet captivating. Thanks to you I started to get passionate about terrariums and made one a week ago with basically only your help and things I found near my house. I have only one thing to ask. Is it normal that the glass condenses very quickly? and what should I do? Clean it ever day or maybe leave it open until it's gone or something else?
Just from my own research on this, as another beginner -- I think you need at least a gallon to be able to support some shrimp, not sure about snails. But the smaller a setup the harder it will be to keep any animals because a tiny fluctuation is a larger percentage of impact on the ecosystem.
I am going to make one of these but my question is, does the thickness of the glass factor into the measurements? If my glass is thicker than the glass used in the video, do I need to adjust measurements for that?
A superglue tip for you! if you want to get the superglue hard immediately you can use baking soda and liquid superglue, it bonds instantly and solidifies instantly.
hey i have a question! my springtails (i just got them a day ago) seem to be barely moving around their enclosure unless i tap the lid or open it. is that normal?
Nice! Thanks for the in depth instructions! I find it incredibly hard getting accurate measurements when cutting glass with the cutter I have. Looks like yours is able to actually cut along the ruler edge. What kind of cutter is that?
Spraying soapy water on the silicone bead and your fingers prevents it from sticking to anything else and helps get a smooth finish. Plastic bag is also better for wiping it off your fingers than a paper towel.
Hey, I have a question. I just made my first terrarium, but the lid is not air tight. How often should I water it? The terrarium is four inches wide and eight inches tall
Start your sentence high, then go down low, then back up high again. Towards the end of the sentence start up high then finish down low once more. Repeat until your Video is complete.
Tip for making a video for beginners that include glass cutting, wear gloves! Even if you know what you are doing, wearing gloves can save a finger that one time you make a mistake.
There totally are companies like that! They're just a little pricey, which I assume is why he didn't include them. You can look up nano aquariums and find plenty.

Beautiful. I love that hatch style door. it's a great idea!
You should add more animals to your tanks because your work is 11/10

So going to make one as soon as I am done with thesis!!
Go queen.

Nice job❤😊❤
Could a couple shrimp and/or tiny aquatic snails be added or is this setup too small?

@@NefariousHippie Thank you 😊
Can you make a mini terrium using tropical plants
Yeah great idea athough he has done quite a few. This man's stuff are so entertaining
Ik it soo cool
Is there a certain thickness of glass that needs to be used? Or do you have a link for the ones you use?
A carnivorous plants terrarium is a good idea!
Most carnivorous plants aren't very terrarium friendly.
Pretty amazing work, I'm curious why you don't use cork bark sitting on a bit of chicken wire rather than foam, is it for cost effectiveness?
I am going to make one of these but my question is, does the thickness of the glass factor into the measurements? If my glass is thicker than the glass used in the video, do I need to adjust measurements for that?
Does the glass debris safe for our pipe?
Very cool

Greate idea

Hello man i want to make a paludarium but i dont have sprigtails is is possible to make a terrarium/paludarium whithout them From Bogota Colombia.
Can this be done using acrylic instead of glass? I have terrible luck with glass and it usually breaks on me in a way that I can’t work with,
Have u tried using acrylic?
hi i wanted to try doing this but can i get the measurements
Plot twist! The plants are the filter
wheres a good spot to buy springtails?
The backyard, or at least that’s where I get springtails if I need them and don’t have access to a store

add any snail or shrimp to it
it’s too small for both.

Is there not a company who makes these size and shape tanks so we don’t have to mess around with glass cutting and silicone …?……
There totally are companies like that! They're just a little pricey, which I assume is why he didn't include them. You can look up nano aquariums and find plenty.
