Strangely to me SEAT has by far the most stylish exterior here.
Slightly biased but I have the Arona. Amazing car :-)
Yeah same. I love the Arona style. I bought one last year and am very impressed.
The pre facelift is better than the facelift model for me
@@Doubledex123 still impressed after 2 years?
@@Jasonpantazis I sold my Arona last year and bought a pick up. However the Arona was a decent car for the money. So yes, it still impressed.
I have that exact Stonic, colour and all. I LOVE it. Best car ive ever had.
And how is it now? Bcs i love the kia stonic
It look fun, good looks. But reliability, well idk because i don't have one so that's why I ask you the question
Is it reliable?
I also like the yellow colour on the kia stonic as well.
And how much Horse power has yours?
(Excse me for my faults i'm from belgium)
Va a ciapa i rat
I love the look of the seat. Inside and out! Especially in orange
I saw one outside a neighbour's house and it looked a very stylish car. It is nice to see colourful cars, it makes a change from umpteen shades of a grey.
I would go for the Kia Stonic because it has a vibe to it on the outside, simple dash layout with colourful pieces of trim and driving experience puts a smile on your face.
Seat did it for me. I drove this car in a recent holiday in malaga . I couldn't ask for more. I drove it quite a lot between Malaga , Ronda and Grenada . I returned to England and I have been looking to change my current car
I've been waiting for a comparison video like this! Glad the Seat one. I've been looking at one myself. Or a Suzuki Vitara :)
This helped me on my quest, thank you.
Had a Stonic as a rental in Iceland. Surprisingly capable, also on F roads fording streams...as a 2WD. The interior is not posh but indeed child proof and functional. I was impressed. 600 km a day, no problem. Decent conso as well.
I don't know why but i kinda dig that acid yellow roof on Stonic, weird bc i used to hate it but now it looks kida cool
Youre right nice car
1:32 "You have to have the range-topping version if you want the contrasting roof"
Or you could go to your nearest car-wrap place and get it done for a couple of hundred max.
Exactly!
Advise for editor, please add some animations or grafics which would show us for example costs and so on... so its easier to compere prizes and other things. Thank you. :)
I'm applying
I would choose the Kia Stonic. I think it has better value for money. With the manual gearbox, the car will be reliable and you also benefit from a bumper-to-bumper warranty that lasts 7 years.
Love your videos Matt !! Would love to get a car from CarWow!! You guys seem so hip
This week I’m getting my Arona Xcellence! Can’t wait
The Kia Stonic wins for me.
You get most for it´s value. Maybe not with 1.0 T-GDi but with 1.4 is fine, best reliability and seven years warranty. I´ve driven a Stonic and center console didn´t wobble at all.
Captur is also fine but I find the interior quite weird, and unfortunately some things, especially gauge cluster and screen makes me think about cars as Renault Trafic or Dacias (except the new Duster).
Arona is just a sea of cheap and scratchy plastic. The only good thing about it is practicality..
Seat looks the best 100%. Cx-3 would’ve been a good comparison. Would’ve smashed the competition.
Today we booked Arona FR for my wife and I must say it is an excellent car based on test drive and quite a stiff comparison between Kamiq/i20/i30. The kit is excellent with FR model having almost everything that you need even without any significant additions 21.6k€ with very lucrative financing by VW. This is my second seat this year after Tarraco eHybrid it is a big achievement considering I am in den of Skoda and wife gets 12% corporate discount on skoda Kamiq
Do she works for these VAG criminals? Talking about awful life choices and poor ethics...
which petrol engine would you recommend for the Seat Arona?
Just bought an Arona FR Sport, second hand.
It really exceeds expectations. Fast, economical on MPG, stylish and practical.
My wife says its the best looking car we've ever had. I tend to agree.
Lovely to drive too, especially after my rather lumbering Ford Focus.
Thanks for a great review
I heard "tortilla pa-ta-ta" and "pimiento padrón" , lol. Great job. Hugs from Spain.
Would like to see you reviewing the new Subaru XV & compare it to others.
Thanks a lot
Seat is the best - ended up buying one. Kia is like a normal hatchback while I didn't like the gearbox of the captur. To me this Arona is close to the likes of T-Roc and A2 but cheaper.
still happy??
@@Jasonpantazis , Yep good enough for a family of 4. Bit tight on the back seats if you try to fit 3 persons.
Arona in fr trim is a very nice little car. I almost chose one over the lean fr 2l. But didn't on the end.
What is your opinion comparring the seat arona and opel crossland?
Spent this past august researching my new car. Watched Carwow and many other reviews. Sat in and drove several models. Out of these three cars the Renault was never on my short list as I can't stand the interior looks and that's what you see while driving.
So it was either the Arona or the Stonic. I ended up buying the Stonic with the 120hp petrol engine.
I liked the looks of both cars equally, but the interior feel of the Stonic is miles ahead of the terrible plastics used in the Seat.
There are two things I envy from the Arona though. The boot space and the visibility. It's harder to fit a bike in the Stonic than it is in the Arona, and the visibilty is not the best in the Stonic. I can't really tell where the front of the car is while parking, and the sideview is not the best either (may be I'm used to 3-door cars with big doors and the B-pillar further back). MPG could be better too. Can't compare with the Arona on this as I only tried it for some minutes.
One thing that worries me in the Stonic are the lights down in the rear bumper. I fear they could be crushed by people parking without respect to other peoples cars (which Europe has plenty of).
This is my first non-european car ever and I'd buy the Stonic again.
Cheers from Barcelona (where the Arona is made btw).
.
how many how mpg are you getting ? and what do you like about it ?
If you order the car with towbar its super easy to carry not just one but two bikes :)
When you are going to do reviews on Citroen C3 Air Croos and Citroen C5 Air Croos thank for this lovely review carwow
Having driven all of them the SEAT is by far the best of the three in every posible way!
Im never touching any french car anymore, renault, citroen or peugeot! Problem after problem.
Among these three I would go after Kia, just bcs of the reliabillity, looks and 7yrs warranty
if you can , i ' d like a review for the seat arona tgi (with cng fuel ) and your opinion about it
The range topping seat is fantastic to drive I have one
Would be great to review the Hybrid Capture or even compare small SUV Hybrids such as Captur, Yaris Cross and Honda Jazz Cross for example
I prefer the Capturs interior but on the higher trims with contrasting colours.
Also having driven one the only negative i found is the power steering at higher speeds seemed a bit resistant.
It's not easy to choose. I ll wait the next capture may be
You should do this again with the new captur and the XCeed
The middle seatbelt in the arona is not working propperly, look it up! (same in the new polo an ibiza)
Got a review on a Subaru XV-S /Crosstrek?
Is there any video which you have wide body cars compared ?
I went to look at the Seat Arona. I am 6ft 3 and there was plenty of room. However when I tried to get out of the Drivers seat the B Pillar is in the way so much so that when in the driving position I have to lean forward to look right. So not for tall drivers.
Out from these 3, the Kia stonic does it for me👏
Seat is the best among the bunch and kia looks like shit but hey each to their own
@@pratik1568 For me, the Arona doesn't look too bad.. but with its older sibling the Ateca, there's just no way id be happy with the Aronas looks
You should shortlist the kia, but consider the seat. But the best out of the two is the seat. Fantasia!
Mat. Can you please review a cx3?
Kia
Seat
Renault
Great vid Matt
I agree with you. I've drove all of them and choosed Arona too. Maybe it's not a "showy" car but who cares really.
I had a diesel Captur as a courtesy car when my Zoe was in for a service. I thought the Captur was really noisy, clunky, slow and not great to drive at all. It may just be that I'm used to how quiet and smooth an electric car is though.
When will you review the new kia ceed?
what motor do you get with the arona?
Hi, what about the Kia Stonic LPG?
This is a review of three possible choices, not an open question as to which one someone likes better.
Drive all three, then comment.
Im here for stonic
🍁Kia🍁 is an allrounder ❤️
Myself and my husband have the arona and the stonic 😂 I have to say the stonic wins hands down for me it’s literally perfect 👌🏼
I'm in the market for a small SUV and I'm torn between the two. What makes you prefer the Stonic as opposed to the Arona?
@@polys643 i just bought one. mild hybrid 2022. it's a super car to drive. and my summer car is a chevy camaro v8
I had the Kia which was a nice car but after purchasing the arona xcellence lux there was no comparison for me. Far superior in the drive and proformence.
Also being part of the VW group you have that reliability. The park assist is a bonus, plus the sound system
Reliability and VW 😀
Is the KIA Stonic built on the same frame as the MG ZS?? They look very similar from the rear...
Same platform as the Hyundai Kona.
I’d have the Kia over the other two. It looks nicer, and is the better all rounder imo.
Maybe review Vauxhall Crossland X ?
Is there any video with renault captur 2
Kia has only one wheel trim set and every model comes with a satnav and it’s good for a family of 3. BTW IM TALKING ABOUT THE STONIC
Where is the exhaust tip test?
The headroom was same in the Renault and Kia.
What about mileage?
Not so roomy but the CX-3 is the most beautiful in its class, inside and out and drives very well
I know that small SUV market it's one of the most aggressive at the moment... Almost every month a new SUV is released, making reviews off every one it's a almost impossible task! But why do have never made a review of the Opel/Vauxhall Crossland X? A very interesting possible competitor in this comparison!
I noticed something weird here. In the previous reviews the verdict for the seat arona was to consider it, while for the kia stonic to shortlist it. In this video the seat arona is the winner. What is going on?
Bias
yeah these guys are motherfuckers, they can't launch an M5 correctly they always edit the outcomes of races too it pisses me off
Hey Mat, great reviews as always. Just wondering, what's your height (want to compare the backseat space) ?
I'm pretty sure he's said a few times he's 5ft10-5ft11
Cheers Samuel
hey guys, l'm looking to buy 2018 captur (because we dont have seat dealer here, also reanault is making an amazing offer with captur) so should l get facelifted Audi A4 2013 sedan or brand new captur? l'm thinking to get A4 and also save some money to open my basement as a garage?
I like the Capture
Test drove the capture I thought it was a right piece of sxxt
The Captur is by far the oldest but it's still a good car, it's more Japanese than french, engines and platform are sourced from Nissan, I own a Captur with more than 5 years and it's a very good city car, very reliable, confortable and safe.
Plss do the new audi a6 vs merc e-class vs bmw 5 series
dont know why but I like Seat design alot. I have a Seat Leon from 2010 and still love that car. If I will buy a SUV ... Arona ofc
Leon looks much better..especially inside.
when will you review the Ford Ecosport?
Seat is definitely the best choice
I think in the place of renault is the citroen c3 aircross and it is the best of all
I wil choose kia Stonic or Seat Arona!👌
Pleaseee Mat test Suzuki S-Cross 1.4 turbo manual, redesigned...
warranry? reliability?
You only do the center console test on Kia's, why is that , I have a Kia Borrego and a 2010 Kia Forte, and i'm a strong guy, and both consoles are rock solid.
Interesting in EU seat starts from 13K euros...I got lvl2 car with all the extras for 16K...
I like also vag group & I think they are leading car manufacturer in world.
I think I'll buy the Captur. Handles like a dream in the city.
This no gay, this Wesley don’t get an automatic its worst gearbox in world .
Anybody with some experience with the 1.4 stonic? Or with the engine?
Make review of lexus ct200h
I thought you're gone choose KIA,
I just ordered a 2020 kia stonic
What aboug gas mileage? Nobody mentions that. I was told today by a few different people that the Arona is special in that it gets the gas mileage around of a hybrid car. That's huge isn't it? Is it true? Before I go and plug down tons of money to buy one. Does anybody know if this is so that the Arona mileage is similar to that of a hybrid?
I like the captur
Mat you're seriously missing out on mazda, the new mazda cx 3 would be top these 3. please reveiw mazda please!
A 2008 Skoda Superb would destroy these cars.
2:07 The tapas comparison xD
Mat is such a humble and cool guy. Great
When is That massive SUV drag race you’ve been leaking on Instagram going live?
H-RV please!!!
now wouldn't it be amazing if all cars were doing what renault did with the seats, but instead sliding them forward backwards to create even more room, cause most of the times you aint even carrying that many things in the boot but that way you can always use the boot space to create more passenger space.
captur 0.9?2013.. is it worth buying for 10000euros?
2:51 But can ya do thiiis !!
We have the Renault Captur cos it was cheaper. But wish we got the Kia!
I was just confused because in your other videos Arona got consider verdict and Stonic got Shortlisted but here Arona wins the battle?
The Arona is the best car there. I was going to order one, but issues with the supply of the DSG and alcantara meant lead times were 4+ months.
I've just ordered a top spec Ateca instead.
Samuel Brooks So you were going to buy an Arona and now you will buy an Ateca instead, that’s weird
@@ilian903 why is it weird?
Samuel Brooks They are not even in the same segment
@@ilian903 and? They're both great looking cars. My needs have changed now so the Arona is too small, the Ateca is perfect.
The 3008 is a better choice.
for the renault, loads of the interior bits are from the renault trafic van. the dials especially
Seat Ibiza and Renault Clio look way better than their SUV brothers, but the Kia Stonic is way more charming than the Rio which is a bit impressive
To those querying another VAG video, CarWow is UK based, the VW group sells a lot of cars over here hence probably the most searched car videos by the UK UA-cam viewers, CarWow is playing is 'views' game to get advertising money. Simples.
