I failed my first half of my instrumentation skills but somehow was able to successfully pass everything that was remaining by staying after school to practice and paying instructors for one on one sessions. Now I'm done with Hygiene, just gotta keep your head up and not give up

Hoping to get in DH school in a year or two! I’m most nervous about my interview for the program, my qualifications, and some community service stuff, but I still have time to shape up! Thank you for posting so regularly, you are my main source of motivation for all of this :)
Wow yes 100% about being in the present moment and making time for yourself. I'm almost done with my second semester of school, I commute far for school everyday and I work most weekends. I am completely exhausted but I know I am not going to have access to this wealth of knowledge once I graduate. I'm glad I watched this, because it reminded me I have to ask my professors about grainy calculus I keep missing/not fulling removing and reminded me that they are there to help us on our educational journey and a resource I need to utilize more often. I really need to try to enjoy this process more and live in the now, even if the now can be stressful, because I'm never going to have an experience like this again. Thank you!!!
Took my written boards last Monday, taking my clinical boards tomorrow. My life saver that I wish I would have used sooner than just this past month was taking melatonin! My brain wouldn't turn off at night and I couldn't fall asleep. Melatonin save me!!! I love all of your tips, but yes easier said then done lol

I’m currently doing my second semester of DH school (pre-clinic) and I cannot tell you how low the morale is between me and my classmates learning instrumentation. So I'm in the second semester of my pre requisites and I'm a full time dental assistant. I'm about to open up a new office and I'm def not doing straight I have like Bs and Cs. I don't think I'm ever going to get into the program.

Hello! I'm currently waiting to see if I got into this dental assisting program. I know you're a hygienist but I wanted your opinion! I don't want to go straight into dental hygiene because I'm not sure it'll be for me so I thought I should get my certificate in dental assisting to see how that goes. Hopefully what I'm explaining is making since. And if I planned to go back for hygiene maybe it'll stand out more? Btw love your channel!
