This worked great -- I am glad you had such nice easy going music in this video, for, after an hour of banging my head against the console, the music made me feel better!
Restore default will remove all other network adapters you have created so be sure to take a screenshot or something of your current network configuration.
Hello good afternoon My congratulations, for your video, always sharing. I'm only Brazil. I'm having trouble making this bridge connection on workstation 11. I checked the network manager of yours, and I noticed that you have Vmnet0, and following here, I do not have this How did you do this and install it? You have an e-mail, so you can help me with this, thank you.
This is an awesome Video; however, I do not see VMWare, Inc under the Manufacturer in the Select Network Service window. How do I go about to adding this? Thank you
Hi, on Windows host machines, reinstall the VMware Bridge Protocol: + In Windows XP - Click Start > Settings > Network and Dial-up Connections. + In Windows Vista/7 - Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > View Network status and tasks > Change adapter settings. Right-click any network adapter icon and click Properties. Select VMware Bridge Protocol and click Uninstall. Click Install. Select Service and click Add. Select VMware Bridge Protocol and click OK.
this vid helped me, but ill be honest i really wish the music was either gone.. or much lower volume.. there isn't any verbal commentary or text explaining whats going on either which would be useful and make it better (in combination with less loud music).. thumbs up regardless
I am still having issues. I could not find vmware inc but i do have the bridge protocol check marked. However, i still cant changed it to bridged. Is there anything else i can do to fix this issue?
The solution that i find to resolve all the problem regarding these virtual adopters is simply go to network editor and restore default this will restore the the configuration with defaults all the problems that are stuck will be removed
Works just fine. Thanks a lot! More helpful than the official VMWare article! :)
