I just bought one and I love it out of the box, the driving experience is what I used to try and make my other cars do through modding and driving the hell out of them but this just drives the way I always wanted. I love the sliding and how easy it is to control while powersliding and it does it off road and on road it's amazing. When my truggies would cartwheel and break parts this just kicks the back out and turns and loves it.
I see nobody mentions that noise you heard when you walk up to it to flip it back over. If im not mistaken the noise is from your steering servo, when the truck was upside down there was pressure against the front wheels which was making your servo "whine"cuz it was fighting to keep the wheels straight.
I am actually enjoying the factory tire its like a stupid fast 6S drifter. I turned the punch up to 7 that helps with air control. They way I look at it is I have bashers for bashing although I am not extreme like some channels. I have this for a different type of driving and experience why make them all jump high and do backflips? There is a glitch coming off half throttle it is intermittent definitely flash the new firmware,
Another great upload Jason. Merry Christmas brother. That's a bummer snapping another outdrive 😢. The Big Rock is on a rough start since the release from what I'm hearing with the electronics. It's still an amazing truck Imo. Hoping to get a maiden run with my build soon as the weather clears up.
Merry Christmas Cris! It's a great truck. But I do feel that it's not a basher. I've considered turning mine into a stretched Kraton or something. That body is never going to survive any bashing. Now, saying that. I have also only been driving it in the cold.
Man you were putting it through it's paces💪 The BR6s just seems a little rushed from Arrma or maybe a little more QA was needed. Truly does look like a solid truck.
It's got some issues. But I don't think it's anything that we can't fix. But the body is going to keep most people from really bashing the truck. I have thought of converting it to a Kraton XL when the body is toast.
Do you like the xmaxx Jason? We seem to have similar taste , o still want the snap on box truck xmaxx but I’d have to pay 1250 for a used one and still need another body
I think traxxas is very convenient and for the average regular folk who aren’t mechanical it’s a good choice , I like it takes me under a minute to put the battery and body on , but far as performance you’ll get more specific and precision with other rcs

I got a problem with my big rock... it only goes full throttle 😅
Send it back,,fucking arrma lololol
She looks great in red for sure! I never ran the stock tires and went straight to the SRC Terrain Crushers.
Dang! That was a bunch kf damage 😱 Cold weather is tough on RC's
Hey Aaron, The cold, and that cage is not helping. :(

I mentioned in the video that it was the gyro trying to do its thing with the steering servo.

Firm ware on the esc needs to be updated as there's a problem with it
Merry Christmas. ! I've been watching your videos. And wonder where in Canada you are . I want to race your sledge vs my sledge
North Bay, Ontario.
Nice was thinking Manitoba seeing eliminator RC as a sponsor
Great video Jason!! How do you feel about the electronics ?
So far I have had no issues. Servo is awesome. ESC and motor are fine.
i meant, its fast and all but do u think its optimal for a rig this scale ? Thanks man!@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs
Too bad about the outdrives. Sounds like she needs a lot of work right out of the box to get it sorted....
I'm stumped. Only Arrma that I have had these issues with.

@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs That is a nice idea!
My Big Rock doesn’t like pavement it likes to kick up dirt and rocks.
I can see why an XRT would have been a better investment.
I had an XRT. I wasn’t a fan.
Going to say it’s a 3rd more costly but I forget Canada has crazy prices on rcs
