I was so interested in hearing you speak about having a photographer or not. So many of the successful say 30 year olds have what to me are OVER stylised videos and photographs now. I can actually see how they copy one another and end up producing vogue type content. I can buy a Vogue magazine if I want that. The humanity and impulse has left their content and I feel them to be exuding an unreal feeling in their content. It is so funny how we want things and then we think at 25 we are so old and will never meet a man to marry or never get a career we love or whatever it is!!! I didn’t get married until I was 35, had two babies by the time I was 40 and have the BEST CAREER IN THE WORLD with the love of my life and the most precious boys I could have ever dreamed of. Ill be 60 this year and been married 37 years, my husband had a friend with benefits 2012-2017, I found out April 2020, I’m struggling with the 10 years of lies, I cry every single day, my husband has showed so much remorse but it’s like it doesn’t matter to me anymore, I’m miserable to him, but he takes all the punches, I hate living like this, I feel like he’s ruined everything, my children don’t know what their father has done, and I don’t think I will tell them, your video has opened my eyes Lisa! I’m so sorry that happened to you Lorraine. It is one of the hardest things to overcome and forgive but if he sincerely is asking for forgiveness than I highly advise you to try and move forward and save your marriage. Don’t let that woman ruin your marriage. Fight for your man and for your marriage. Don’t tell ANYONE your personal business especially your children. Be honest with yourself about your part in the breakdown. Did you neglect your marriage? Men really want to be admired and looked up to. Women think it’s about what we look like but it’s just as important to make them feel good about themselves. I highly recommend you pray together as a couple, read the Bible, learn to forgive. God commands us to forgive so you need to choose to please God and forgive or to defy God and deny forgiveness. When you think about how unforgivable his actions were, think back on the things you did in your life that need forgiveness. Whether you stay together or not you need to forgive. Take this as an opportunity to grow together as a couple and become stronger as a couple than you could have imagined! This terrible thing could be what makes your marriage super strong. I’m turning 30 this year and you are the ONLY makeup youtuber I watch now! I was around since 2009 when it started, and I don’t watch anyone younger anymore. You’re relatable, you’re humble, you’re RAW! and that’s the type of videos and people I’d prefer to get recommendations from and I like to watch. There are pros to getting to work with brands, but there’s also cons... you kind of have to sell your soul in a way. It’s a blessing you can just be you and try out things that YOU like... there’s a reason why we are on your channel and why we are all still here :)

To this day, I can cringe remembering things he said to me about my cooking. The steak was too tough, not cooked well enough, etc. I was madly in lov with him , but his comments still ring in my ears. Wonderful video, as always. I turned 60 in Dec. I really thought getting older would be so scary....boy was I ever wrong. My 4 children are grown and doing well. My marriage of 40 years is wonderful and my hubby is doing well and is healthy. I finally feel like I have time for myself. I can buy the high end cosmetics, I can buy that cool car, traveling has become a thing we can do last minute and not be dragging toys, cribs, strollers etc. Yes, I enjoyed every minute of my children being young, because we home-schooled, we spent a lot of time with our children. But now its time for me and my hubby...its liberating and so wonderful . For the young women reading this, I assure you that there are many seasons in life. Make the most out of each one you are blessed to get.
Twice today in videos I've heard dont be bitter about the situation. I swear I've been bitter and people who know my story tell me, they would be too had they lived what I lived. It was dead wrong and it never, ever should have happened but it did and it didn't kill me. I'm not what happened to me. I gotta let this bitterness go so I can feel better in my soul. I'm 33, honesty seeing your chanel gave me hope. I started watching your channel a few years ago. I felt old and tired. I just did not take care of my self like I should. I have hope that when my kids get older I can get back to myself a bit. I love your style. It reminds me of my style of choice before I had my babies. I love my babies but my body has changed and it's my fault. I felt lost. For some reason I thought that being in my 30s and being a mom meant I had to tone it way down. It was sad to think that way. Thank you for your videos.
My take is not to be too trusting of the wrong people who have hurt me very badly. That’s my biggest weakness is being too trusting and giving certain people the benefit of the doubt that didn’t deserve it. Betrayal is very painful for me and I’m working to overcome that and continue to grow my new found faith. And to set boundaries with people because I’ve learned that not everyone is my friend. But know this, it is not our fault nor should we feel bad for not knowing the outcome because you and I and others had thought it was coming from a good place at that time or moment. But these things that have happened had a purpose and lessons for us. I learned to stop worrying about what others think and keep it moving.
Lisa, you're such a beautiful soul! Such amazing messages and reminders! I think between our own expectations and those of society, we forget how powerful we are. It really does all begin and end in the mind. Being honest with ourselves yet not letting it break us down is a delicate balancing act. But once we understand everything good or bad is based upon what we choose to give our attention to, a huge weight gets lifted off our shoulders with it. If I may, a message to all the incredible women out there, regardless of your age: put yourself on that pedastal first. No matter what your body looks like, it's thanks to that body that you're here on earth; no matter how someone treated you or how horrible they made you feel, understand that doesn't define who you are; no matter how much time you may have dedicated to a person or a relationship, the past is the past and you may have many more years ahead where you can make a change and turn things right around. Ill be 60 this year and been married 37 years, my husband had a friend with benefits 2012-2017, I found out April 2020, I’m struggling with the 10 years of lies, I cry every single day, my husband has showed so much remorse but it’s like it doesn’t matter to me anymore, I’m miserable to him, but he takes all the punches, I hate living like this, I feel like he’s ruined everything, my children don’t know what their father has done, and I don’t think I will tell them, your video has opened my eyes Lisa! I’m so sorry that happened to you Lorraine. It is one of the hardest things to overcome and forgive but if he sincerely is asking for forgiveness than I highly advise you to try and move forward and save your marriage. Don’t let that woman ruin your marriage. Fight for your man and for your marriage. Don’t tell ANYONE your personal business especially your children. Be honest with yourself about your part in the breakdown. Did you neglect your marriage? Men really want to be admired and looked up to. Women think it’s about what we look like but it’s just as important to make them feel good about themselves. I highly recommend you pray together as a couple, read the Bible, learn to forgive. God commands us to forgive so you need to choose to please God and forgive or to defy God and deny forgiveness. When you think about how unforgivable his actions were, think back on the things you did in your life that need forgiveness. Whether you stay together or not you need to forgive. Take this as an opportunity to grow together as a couple and become stronger as a couple than you could have imagined! This terrible thing could be what makes your marriage super strong. lisa i'm 21 years old, i've been watching you for years now and i truly do find you so inspiring. today's society makes me feel as my life will be over at 25 years old and if i don't keep up and/or figure my whole life out by then, i'm DONE. i feel like i'm changing everyday and i still haven't figured out anything at all, yet the world seems to put me on a "deadline". but i dont have it, i really don't. so thank you for showing me how much someone can carry their passions at really any age and there's something to come at every chapter, wether we measure these chapters in age or not. thank you Lisa.

I reinvented the way I feel about myself, I reinvented the way I react to other people, I reinvented the compassionate side of me, and I reinvented my appreciation for the little the things and what matters most. I’m turning 30 this year and you are the ONLY makeup youtuber I watch now! I was around since 2009 when it started, and I don’t watch anyone younger anymore. You’re relatable, you’re humble, you’re RAW! and that’s the type of videos and people I’d prefer to get recommendations from and I like to watch. There are pros to getting to work with brands, but there’s also cons... you kind of have to sell your soul in a way. It’s a blessing you can just be you and try out things that YOU like... there’s a reason why we are on your channel and why we are all still here :)
Dear little Miss Virgo, I love this conversation so much. I had a boyfriend whom I loved so much. I was just 21, now 74. He was a Virgo. To this day, I can cringe remembering things he said to me about my cooking. The steak was too tough, not cooked well enough, etc. I was madly in lov with him , but his comments still ring in my ears. Of course, he had stellar qualities that made me love him, but yes, Virgos can be very honest. Part of your charm.❤❤❤.

Wonderful video, as always. I turned 60 in Dec. I really thought getting older would be so scary....boy was I ever wrong. My 4 children are grown and doing well. My marriage of 40 years is wonderful and my hubby is doing well and is healthy. I finally feel like I have time for myself. I can buy the high end cosmetics, I can buy that cool car, traveling has become a thing we can do last minute and not be dragging toys, cribs, strollers etc. Yes, I enjoyed every minute of my children being young, because we home-schooled, we spent a lot of time with our children. But now its time for me and my hubby...its liberating and so wonderful . For the young women reading this, I assure you that there are many seasons in life. Make the most out of each one you are blessed to get.

Twice today in videos I've heard dont be bitter about the situation. I swear I've been bitter and people who know my story tell me, they would be too had they lived what I lived. It was dead wrong and it never, ever should have happened but it did and it didn't kill me. I'm not what happened to me. I gotta let this bitterness go so I can feel better in my soul. Hi Lisa, I was a model for 20 years and I can personally say you would be an awesome model and role model. A lot of the time I was booked for my personality before looks. Im 51yo now and just trying to be re-employed after losing my job from the pandemic. It's taken a year but I'm slowly getting there and reinventing myself. You are not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside also. 🤗
I'm 33, honesty seeing your chanel gave me hope. I started watching your channel a few years ago. I felt old and tired. I just did not take care of my self like I should. I have hope that when my kids get older I can get back to myself a bit. I love your style. It reminds me of my style of choice before I had my babies. I love my babies but my body has changed and it's my fault. I felt lost. For some reason I thought that being in my 30s and being a mom meant I had to tone it way down. It was sad to think that way. Thank you for your videos.
My take is not to be too trusting of the wrong people who have hurt me very badly. That’s my biggest weakness is being too trusting and giving certain people the benefit of the doubt that didn’t deserve it. Betrayal is very painful for me and I’m working to overcome that and continue to grow my new found faith. And to set boundaries with people because I’ve learned that not everyone is my friend. But know this, it is not our fault nor should we feel bad for not knowing the outcome because you and I and others had thought it was coming from a good place at that time or moment. But these things that have happened had a purpose and lessons for us. I learned to stop worrying about what others think and keep it moving.

Lisa, you're such a beautiful soul! Such amazing messages and reminders! I think between our own expectations and those of society, we forget how powerful we are. It really does all begin and end in the mind. Being honest with ourselves yet not letting it break us down is a delicate balancing act. But once we understand everything good or bad is based upon what we choose to give our attention to, a huge weight gets lifted off our shoulders with it. If I may, a message to all the incredible women out there, regardless of your age: put yourself on that pedastal first. No matter what your body looks like, it's thanks to that body that you're here on earth; no matter how someone treated you or how horrible they made you feel, understand that doesn't define who you are; no matter how much time you may have dedicated to a person or a relationship, the past is the past and you may have many more years ahead where you can make a change and turn things right around.
