    So nice to watch instructions geared toward people who hit like I do (ie into the net, early, etc)

    Those are really good coaching tips by DJKlasnic. I like his approach to ball spike tip: slow, slow then fast and swing. 🗣️🏐👍🏽

    can someone explain why the instructor is teaching the students to whip up high and leaving it high , vs swinging through - i'm assuming it's bc of the 2 hitting techniques he's referring to?

      Because it's beach - not indoor. You have a single single defender in the court. Your attack should be measured, versatile and unpredictable vs pure power. It forces you to use high hand - loosing some power, but allowing wide range of attacks

    I’d like to see coach showing the real thing instead of just talking.

    I feel like approach is the most difficult thing to learn to time With ball

    This was refreshing!
    But, in South Miami, they would have called all those nice handsets a "double" 😡😡

    • @rlendore65
      @rlendore65 Рік тому

      why are they doubles ? Only two things make a handset illegal 1 - the ball cames to rest (momentarily) 2 - the ball was contacted at two different times in the same motion/play of the ball i.e. double contact.

      @@rlendore65 so if it has spin but is only one contact its fine?

    • @rlendore65
      @rlendore65 Рік тому +1

      @@Ericrr79 yes according to FIVB rules
