      Thanks Frans! It’s a super cool app even for guitar too. And yeah that’s a nasty key signature

    Thanks for the info. I was wanting to use the IK Multimedia BX3 with Playground sessions but it won't allow two midis.

      Did you check out the video on loopMIDI as well? It creates a virtual MIDI port so you can have 2 MIDI ports ua-cam.com/video/jr8LU9hfKzU/v-deo.html

    Thank you very much! Is there an option in the app to register notation of what was played?

    • @PianoTone
      @PianoTone  3 місяці тому +2

      Do you mean save what was played? I don't think so but I'm sure there are lots of apps that will record notation of what you play.

    That's very cool! As I have a keyboard Casio pxs3100 that does not display chords :( do you know if chordie app works for iPad? Thanks

      Hi there! Nice piano you have!!! No, Chordie doesn't work for iPad, but you can look into MIDIculous.
      There are multiple versions of this app (with a TON of functionality) but the free version has the same features as Chordie for displaying chords, notes and the keys you play and it actually has sounds built in. It's on my list to do a review, but check out the link here:

    So I just purchased the app. I have a midi USB connected from my Yamaha YPG635 keyboard to my Win10 tablet. The app isn’t seeing my keyboard. Any suggestions? I reached out to Chordie tech support, no response.

      Is a driver required on your tablet? It would be on a pc (not on an iPad); not sure about a Win10 tablet . . .

      @@PianoTone I’m technically challenged. I’m still trying to figure out how to open it on my tablet. I’ve downloaded (license key etc). Can’t find the shortcut. I found the .exe file but it’s asking again for my license key. Oh well.

    Nice! Is it possible to change the tuning of the guitar strings?

    • @PianoTone
      @PianoTone  2 місяці тому +2

      To be honest I'm not sure - have to check with the Chordie website . . .
