do you know why my app is selecting random notes even if i dont touch my keyboard. There is like a midi signal coming in even when i dont touch anything. Its frustrating baucause i cant use the app
Hi, Have you dealt with MIDI-OX instead of ChordieApp? I am trying to monitor what exactly is coming out from Ableton? But nothing is coming out. At least MIDI-OX doesn't see it.
Helpful. To clarify--If I record midi in Ableton--it will also playback thru Chordie? Or say I have a piano midi clip loaded in Ableton, and I play it, will Chordie show the note and chord data?
Thanks so much! Yes if you have loopMidi running if you play a midi track in Ableton Chordie will see and display the chords/notes. Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe
You are a lifesaver, the little tip for creating a 'dummy' midi track to send the output was the step I was missing. Thank you for this!

All you have to do is use USB TO HOST and the 5-pin to an audio interface. One controls Chordie. One controls the VST. I've been doing this for years.
