    Can you explain "Bid" vs "Default Bid"? Do they add them together? Also, if I sold a book, but it took 9 clicks do so, for example, resulting in my ACOS being high, should I pause the keyword or lower my bid?

    • @mjvlogs1013
      @mjvlogs1013 Рік тому

      The default bid is set by Default by Amazon and the Custom Bid is set by you. You have to decide your target clicks and target ACOS. If the clicks you get, cost you more and leave no profit, you have to reduce your bid slowly(10-12 cents).

  • @gooffie29
    @gooffie29 2 роки тому

    Thank you Cam. Your video is very valuable for new seller like me. I just tried purchasing the ads for a week and wonder whether you have ever had this issue i.e. the CPC is higher than my bid e.g. I set the cost at $1 or 1.5 but the cost per click is $2.24. I did set dynamic down only for 50% but I couldn't reconcile the rationale behind $2.24, which made me out of budget very quickly during the day. I reached out to Amazon twice as this issue occurred 2 days consecutively. I just want to understand the logic so I can manage my budget spending properly but all they told me is that I cannot trust the number on the dashboard but need to wait for 72 hrs and run the report to see the actual spending. I understand they need to validate the # of the click but the cost per click should be correct isn't it? Now, I still don't know what I did wrong that make the cost per click skyrocket like that.

    Thank you for another great video Camron. I was wondering how much of this you use for products that have been on sale long term. Do you still maintain some PPC advertising at a lower level, or would you eventually want to reduce it to nothing at all once you have built up reviews etc

    Thanks this was excellent and very valuable information. A lot more confident now. It seems that no one mentions what sort of budget you should put towards a PPC campaign? Especially when you're starting out. I'd like to be able to have a realistic budget for this. What do you suggest? Or how should I go about working this out?

    • @MazharAli-ft6qx
      @MazharAli-ft6qx 3 роки тому

      It's all about your product competition.
      But I will suggest you start on a low budget.
      Your exact campaign budget should be high as compared to Auto, phrase and broad.
      Because cpc of exact is always high due to high competition of that keywords.
