Hey Camron, thanks for the quality content thus far, i got a bit of a weird or perhaps stupid question. How do you know if a product is a failure? Say I bought 500 units of a product, i set a $20 price tag on it, and sold the batch over the course of 3 - 4 months, and my net at the end of this batch was between 15 - 25%. Do you consider the product to be a fail because it took too long to sell, or do you consider it a fail cus of the ppc cost, or what criteria in general do you consider to make the definite decision whether to discontinue the product? sometimes certain products may take a while to gain traction, so how can you make the decision without missing out on a potentially good product?
How do you go about making your own versions of say something like the bonsai light tree? You talk about mimicry and slight improvements on winning products and the sorts but I have no idea where to get started with producing your own variations?

When you limit your search to products having a review < 3.5 for example, It does not mean at all that there are no competitors selling the same "type of products" that have great reviews, maybe there are alot ! , Blackbox is just hiding them because you limited your criteria. just a quick question if you known anything about AMZ scout and how accurate it is? Ive been using it for a few weeks now but started using helium side by side to compare, and the numbers like Est. sales, FBA fees and est. monthly revenue are very different. Any insight? thanks man!

Hi Cameron. Very good instructional videos. I’ve been in the children’s publishing industry for 30+ year and recently retired 2 years ago. A big publisher I worked with for several years recently shut down operations. In the divestiture procedures, my company ended up with over 800,000 novelty children’s books with a retail value of over $9 million (50+ different titles)-books that my company created and hold the exclusive copyright to. The books sold well in all of the major big box stores (Some titles sold in the millions of books). First question: Since I’m retired and do not want to personally do the work of setting up an Amazon store, I would like to find someone to partner with to do the sales and inventory management. Contact suppliers or manufacturers on alibaba, don’t afraid they are providing good products.
Also do you ever take into consideration the average reviews when looking at the helium 10 xray?
