    I have been training now for a couple of months following a lot of your videos to strengthen my body and be able to start doing tricks on the pole. Thanks for extensively explaining to the viewers the correct positions to hold to prevent injuries. The first time I started training to pole dance I wasn't properly advised and I did injure myself. Now it's going smoothly and I am slowly, but steadily improving and seeing the first positive results. You are a great teacher, thank you a lot!

    You’re a phenomenal teacher, I’ve had a hard time finding conditioning training for beginners. The pole alone is to hard for me right now!! Thanks sooo much

    Thank you! I'm very weak and I know I will struggle if I don't do conditioning first. Classes are too expensive for me to waste them struggling with strength and stuff so I'll definitely be doing this

    Saving this video for my "Return" ❤ After 5 years of poledancing and not taking proper care of my form and body, I have ended up with herniated disc 😢 now 3 years without pole, 20 kilos heavier. I miss pole. I have lost my strenght and flexibility. But I want to start again. I just have to start from ground zero, need to avoid some moves, but I just miss pole too much. Thank you for providing such detailed video. I hope it will help me to be more mindfull and help me to gain a strenght I have lost. But in correct way.

      Everything is going to be alright!! You’ll be better than ever ❤ “I am so happy & grateful my body has healed strong enough for Pole dance. I love pole dancing”. I would affirm this everyday or write it down in a journal ✨ I would even watch pole videos 15 min a day & visualize yourself on the pole 🎠 You got this! 🎉 Happy NEW*** Year 🥳

    Had the sudden urge to learn pole dancing.
    Had the foresight to think "I don't have a pole, and probably won't have access to one otherwise anyway."
    Watched this video since I need to workout a bit more anyway and, "OH. No wonder I couldn't manage *one* heckin' pushup"
    I also just don't have arm strength I can lift *myself* with. I can lift heavy objects, but not me, NOPE! To be fair to myself though, gravity is working against me far more when it's lifting myself up than when it's something else.
    Edit: Seven minutes into the thing and I'm definitely feeling my muscles burning a bit.

    12:25 PROFOUND!!! I injured myself so bad from doing it wrong. I'm healthy now and can't wait to try this!

      I completely agree! The rotator cuff is one of the first body parts to get damaged, especially doing strength exercises. I injured mine because I wanted to get stronger really fast and had to pause for 4 months. That was not fun.

Even though I want to get to the point, you explain in a manner I would not have thought about in this moment. I would have thought about it later🤦‍♀️😆

    Hey, I noticed that when I was holding the plank position my wrists started to hurt really bad after a minute. I sprained both wrists repeated as a kid and didn't really prioritize healing them since I was young and stupid, and I carry a lot of heavy objects at work which irritates them a lot. I would love to take up pole dancing in the near future, but is it at all realistic to pursue it with my bad wrists? I'm wondering if taping would help. I don't want to get my hopes up if it's just not in the cards for me.

      With this condition even more you need to focus on shoulder strength and proper positions. Use your fingers more in plank type positions. Also physiotherapist is needed to help you not injure them again.

    When I try to do the glute exercise and lift my straight leg I feel like I'm going to break my toes! Do I just have weak toes that will get used to it or am I doing something wrong?

    • @AneteBlaua
      @AneteBlaua  4 роки тому +3

      It can hurt a lot, do few repetitions on toes and then the rest on your feet, so it will get better after a while

    Hi Anete, first thanks for all your videos, I've been following your advice and ideas, it's so game changing! Thanks for being so clear and taking the time to go into details. Except specific workout for pole, would you recommend any workout in training/fitness gym to improve strength + flexibility, or even stamina (with running session for ex)? Thank you so much!

    • @AneteBlaua
      @AneteBlaua  4 роки тому

      Thanks.
      Well you are asking for specific individual programme, its quite the job, because for each person it will be different, depending on previous experience or no experience, on recovery and goals.

    Uff, are there any more-beginner tutorials? The first 8 minutes are already to heavy for me...

    • @AneteBlaua
      @AneteBlaua  3 роки тому +2

      I believe there are easier alternatives for some exercises. Also pole is no ‘chill in the sun’ workout type, it is very challenging, so the conditioning needs to prepare the body for the challenge.
