Google release every new version of WearOs for everyone and it's up to any company if and how fast they will implement it, just same as with phones. These watches should be on WOS 5 already, as any latest smart watches. Also, not implementing google assistant is a huge disadvantage.
This is NOT true. I have inside information. Google strictly regulates their WearOS updates, No other watch manufacturer has WearOS 5, except Google Pixel Watch 3 and Samsung who have a deal with google. Every other brand is in the backseat. OnePlus watch 2 has WearOS 4, Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro also has WearOS 4. All others are WearOS 4 or less.
What I like about the ticwatch is the 2 displays, and battery life. Recently switched to the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and I'm happy with the switch. Battery isn't as good but has better features and quicker updates. Ticwatch does have a lot more free watch faces through their app though.
Thank you for the review/comparison.. My 3 year old TW Pro 3 just recently got the little "burn" spot at the 4 o'clock position and I'm looking for a replacement.. I'm looking at the Enduro, but the style of the Atlas looks nicer to me.. As soon as they have a sale I'll be on it...
Great review. But would have been cooler if both watches had the same watchface rather than the stock watchface, just to really compare the screens. I feel like Galaxy Watch 7 has a thicker black circle than the Atlas, yet the 7 is claiming a larger screen.
ticwatch is great when it works, but when it breaks you are in trouble, bought my ticwatch 3 gps and second screen broke after 7 months and battery went limp (went flat from full in 2 hours) after another month, contact with company was extremely difficult and after 8 emails they refused to fix it under warranty, never again!
Customer service was alvays good for me. I had all Pro TicWatches and only with 2 models I had problems, claim warranty and Mobvoi gave me new watch both times.
@ChigzTech You You probably use many watches, and sometimes you will just keep them aside while testing other watches. This is just my guess, though. Common users, like many of the viewers here, only have one smartwatch. We use it almost 24/7, that's why it got broken easily.
What are their apps like? My Amazfit GTR has developed an issue reconnecting it to the app which basically makes it a useless watch. So now I'm in the market for a new smart watch ⌚
Always on will always rinse the battery faster. Ticwatch has the dual screen sandwich design to solve that problem. Otherwise AMOLED always on = heavy battery drain. So I always leave it off. Battery life with GW7 always on display, you will need to charge it every day.
Just got a TW 5 Pro Enduro. I've added Alexa & it's possible to add Google Assistant. Easy to add, but maybe too technical for some. Loving the battery & that's the main reason I got it. You can change software, but not hardware. Hopefully TW is reliable. Liking the look of the Galaxy 7 though. Typical Samsung... incremental improvements, like their phones (compared to HONOR, Xiaomi, Vivo...)
Yes, I do like the Ticwatch a lot. They seem to care about specs and upgrades. Software wise they are a bit behind and I have been told by an insider than Google is holding them back.

0:37 Watch 7 does have voice assistant
Good review as always mate thanx for the comparison 👍
Appreciate that, thanks 👍

Black Friday is coming :)
Great video bro.
Appreciate it
Best Smartwatch comparison videos, as always 👏🙏🏼🩷
Thanks Lia 🩷 👍
Which features do you not have access to if you haven't got a Samsung phone please? Thanks
Never ever Mobvoi again, had TicWatch 3 Pro and their ignorance about software updates was horrible
They have updated all watches to Wear OS 4. Apparently it's in Google hands, when a third party company gets updates.
@@ChigzTech
all of their watch are horrible.
my ticwatch 3 watch broken already.
better just go for samsung watch galaxy 7 or pixel watch 3
@@lorranlxcrrer1158 using Pro 5 Enduro, best Smartwatch ever. Batter life is a major issue with this Wear OS devices.
I like ticwatch, actually have 2. Love the second screen, no rival on this
@@lorranlxcrrer1158 What did you do to broke your TicWatch Pro 3? I had all Pro watches and newer broke any. Now I am on Atlas.

Wow that is surprising, never had an issue with any of my ticwatches and I heard the customer service team are usually on point.
Customer service was alvays good for me. I had all Pro TicWatches and only with 2 models I had problems, claim warranty and Mobvoi gave me new watch both times.
I'm done with Ticwatch. I've had two of them, and both conked out right at the one-year mark.
Thats a shame to hear, all my ticwaches still going strong.

Awesome...blending of those 2 watches...my perfect Watch...thanks chigz...😁😁😁👍👍👍
Yes absolutely, thanks for watching.
would you say the Ticwatch 5 pro enduro is equivalent to the atlas? where would it fall in your chart?
Galaxy Watch 7 🔥
👍
The only reason I might get TWA it’s bigger than the AWU and GWU plus the bigger battery two of my fav things size & battery 😎
The TWA is the king when it comes to battery capacity and performance. No other WearOS watch comes close to it.
Hi, is it possible to pass and answer phone calls with the Atlas ? Thank you a lot.
What are their apps like?
My Amazfit GTR has developed an issue reconnecting it to the app which basically makes it a useless watch. So now I'm in the market for a new smart watch ⌚
Good review .
Thanks!
Any chance of a review of the Redmi Watch 5 Lite? GPS, Bluetooth calling and all sorts of other goodies for 40 quid.
Will check it out, thanks.
For the Ticwatch Atlas, when the ultra-low power display is on will it vibrate or indicate in any way that you have received a text message?
Yes it can vibrate and or make a sound to indicate notifications. I have mine on silent so it just vibrates.
I'm waiting for the 6x9 watch standard... Rectangular watches are coming!
Might be a bit strange on the wrist.
This video is a smart watch!
Thanks

Hey Carl, how's it going?
The Sammy looks more modern, shame about the battery though.
I actually do like the minimalist look of the GW7 and it's so slim and light.
The big question is : battery life with watch face allways on . Not the simplistic one that looks awful...
Always on will always rinse the battery faster. Ticwatch has the dual screen sandwich design to solve that problem. Otherwise AMOLED always on = heavy battery drain. So I always leave it off.
Battery life with GW7 always on display, you will need to charge it every day.
Why would you turn on AOD on TicWatch when you have another STN display with backlight that consumes battery much less?
Good video
Thanks

Why is every Ticwatch so damn ugly? Plastic and cheap 80s looking design. Also, their software and customer support is absolutely horrible.
Where is plastic on TicWatch Pro watches? This nailon on the lower side of Watch is good for people that have metal iritation on skin.
Its subjective, I think the Galaxy looks a bit too effeminate for my taste.
