I think you're one of the first people I always see with the new TicWatch models. I found out about this model and the Enduro because you're videos popped up for me haha. Good to see Mobvoi is still coming up with new models but I hope they also work on the updates to make these watches last.
I currently have a Pixel watch 3 45 mm. I get about a day and a half to 2 days out of a charge. I still miss my Ticwatch pro from 2020. That dual display was fantastic and I wish more companies would follow suit. I also like the looks of the Ticwatch more. I run a case on my Pixel watch, which makes me miss the ruggedness of the Ticwatch. I might be going back to Mobvoi when my Pixel watch starts showing its age.
I had to do the same. Got a Pixel Watch 2 and immediately put a spigen shell on it. I REALLY wish Google would do what OP did. Just imagine a Pixel watch that could slide into a low power "fitbit" mode. We could probably double the battery life with current hardware... But that would require Google to do something bold...
Big fan of your reviews? I'm genuinely curious, do you use these watches past the standard 2 weeks most reviewers do? It seems like you do but I'm wondering if you've had any long term issues with a ticwatch. Really interested in getting this watch but don't want something that'll crap out on me after 6 months. Thanks! Keep up the great work
This explains why the Enduro has dropped in price recently. What I don't understand: the Enduro can come with an extra leather strap for less money than without. I like the idea of using it in power saving display mode for 40+days and then syncing data. I don't want it talking continuously to my phone. Some, like the CMF, don't let you shut off the wireless, so there is even less incentive to wear it while sleeping. I am curious to know how well the magnetic coupler works for charging. I have the CMF watch and charging sucks as the magnets are so weak.
If they ever got the updates consistently , and native google assistant i would switch. This is coming from someone whos had every ticwatch , and sold the pro 5; holding out hope they get better at support
What I really don't understand is why did Mobvoi discontinue the both metrics "Mental Fatigue" and "Energy Level" which they introduced with the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra? Does anybody know the reason?
What I am wondering is the Google Fit integration, by being Wear OS I assume it supports it, but are all the features available in Fit? I currently have TicWatch Pro S that might be due for a swap, but I have hard time finding sth that I like as a design and function...this one looks promising tho 🤔
@@SomeGadgetGuy Me too I wish there were more people I knew on it, that there were more folks local to me on it But that aside, it vibes me in all the cool places Google+ used to.... Especially the inbuilt ability to follow topics, follow subjects, instead of people. Which begs the question.... Am I following you as a subject, or as a people? 🤣🤣🤣
I would pick this watch but i have the Epix Gen 2 and that lasts me a week to week and a half. So this watch doesn't even come close. It is s bug step for Google's wear OS though.
@@SomeGadgetGuy i did get a brief notification on mine. Managed to see a glimpse of it saying that i can set the power button for SOS by clicking it 5 times. Then the notification vanished. Just checked the device menu/section, cant see it
Pro 5/Enduro/Atlas are basically the same watch, just aesthetic diffs & slight software enabled features - hence I think Mobvoi Health thinks the Enduro is the Atlas & offers the SOS. You can use Macrodroid on any watch to do an sos I should think.
I eye the Fenix a lot, but Garmin still hasn't delivered great support for speech to text notification replies. Better assistant support is a step in the right direction, but I really want proper notification API support.

@@SomeGadgetGuy as a non marathon runner/active person, I've been eyeing the Vivomove series purely for their design and price point. Still trying to decide what I'm looking for to replace my Fitbit charge 4 and Galaxy watch active 2. Definitely would like something with more than a few days battery life.
Dude... apple, samsung, and google watches were never bought for their battery life. Smartwatches were never bought for their battery life until pebble and Casio G-Shock. And now there's Garmin, Fossil, Suunto, and of course TicWatch, among others. There are options out there. The surprise is that it's got physical buttons. Edit: 4 days!? That's barely an upgrade! Edit 2: ok, the power saving mode is a nice option for those who want everything.
Who else is running a full build of Android on your wrist with an always visible screen for more than 90 hours? I mean, phones cant do that... Sure, you can get a LOT longer run time on an RTOS, but then we have to give up features like text to speech notification replies and a more robust app market. With an OP or a Tic, you could have both a basic fitness tracker AND a full featured Android watch.
I get 4-5 days on my Apple Watch Ultra. That's wearing it 24/7. Obviously a diff price point. But was just saying it's not that diff than some other watches as far as battery life. I would like to get a Garmin. Now that's some serious battery I had the Qualcomm toc. That thing was ahead of its time.
It's such a shame Qualcomm never did a follow up. The Toq was legit. I really miss that and my Pebble color... As for an Apple Watch, your claims are pretty far outside the rated specs from Apple. Even Apple stays a bit more conservative about low power claims. Not saying you CANT do it. I'm sure power saver mode gets longer run time, and disabling things like an always on display, and just using it less throughout the day, but at some point, then you have to wonder why you spent that much on the Ultra if you're not using the things on ultra. That's a steep price to pay for a more basic experience JUST to get 4 days between charges. Why not buy an RTOS fitness tracker instead and get double that run time? When we do similar power saving measures on an OP or a Tic, we go from 3-4 days of use to 2-6 WEEKS of use. These little add on co-processors are EXCELLENT at keeping the basics running. It's really a shame that Google, Apple, and Samsung aren't using them more.
These watches have fantastic hardware, my Pro 5 lasts me 3 full days, with sleep tracking. I just wish the step counter didn't count every bump when I'm driving 🥲

Not interested in watches, but I enjoy your coverage. You are just soooo sensible.
Aw thanks. That actually means a lot.
Good way to determine if it has good battery life is if they use hours or days in the marketing.

That's what I want from a smartwatch first! Strong Battery 🔋 sot!
OnePlus and Mobvoi just embarrassing Samsung and Apple for run time right now...

I have had an Enduro for a month or so, the magnetic charger couples really well
Same. If you dont "jiggle it" the magnets are strong enough to support the weight of the watch and strap.
The only video that shows the barometer. Does it have a storm alarm ??
Great video.
Great review mate!
Thanks bud! I think this would be a fun one for you to test out after the Galaxy Watch. REALLY different pros and cons.
