I received call from one of the scammers politely asked r u from jamtara he is literallly laughing and cut the call few days back this happen
I too got call from them and then asked for the card and acc details, I told them I am broke... 😆 they got annoyed and cut the call.
I live near Jamtara District . The language used in the web series is totally different . They used the Bhojpuri language but the regional language are Bangali , Santhali and khota.

My colleague got the same call and she asked which bank? Then she gave it to another colleague who trolled the shit out of him.

@@kd_vibe Well I'd say today the educated and able bodied are bigger cons. But about your point - achhe din or not, poverty, goverment apathy, system etc cannot be the exuse to rob others or kill others.
People make these excuses but how do you know the person on other side of phone is not poor? Fact is most Indians scammed are poor and uninformed or unsuspecting lot. It's just a sad state of affairs.

Few days back a scammer called me and said ur airtel sim is going to block and u need to install an app from play store i said do it immediately and the best part is he called me from jio sim .
Same with me he claimed that my jio sim is going to expire

I got a call with exact words. Sir this is manager from your bank, I asked which bank, he said your bank, I asked can you please state name of my bank and he said, jis bank mein tera account hai usi se bol raha hoon. Then I started in desi and in 10 seconds he would have started bleeding from his ears and disconnected :):)

I am waiting for that one day a scammer fucks with the wrong guy, and that guy ends up going to India tracking down these fools and really shows them whats up.

No they ask about ATM card details claiming they are bank manager and your ATM card is blocked and to unblock provide them ATM details. Most people know its scam but some old people take the bait.

One aspect is how much skill in India is wasted, seriously if these people could have been educated and got into some legible business they could have done better in life. Many of the villages dirty politics and lack of education and corruption push people to misery and when they find a way out they don't care if it's right or wrong.
And who knows if there is well educated person behind all of it.

The thing is, if I'm going to be inundated with these calls & texts, I'm at least going to spend an hour on the phone talking to them, giving them the wrong card / login / security info, until they lose their mind & finally realize I'm fucking with them.....
It's our agreed upon verbal contract: I know you're a full of shit scammer & you curse me out in your native dialect at the end. We both agree on this.
Lucky within the uk you have an atm close by which you can use so they scam using texts with a link that hacks into your online banking which I dont even have 😁

you see the big giants like flipkart Snapdeal and other such sites are the most common ones behind this they sell our personal information and our contact no. to third parties and from there to such scammers i remember i bought a dress for my mother through Snapdeal from the first time and on the very next day i get a call you've won a lottery sir since u ordered he described the actual product color and everything intact so that's the reason never buy from such sites you can prefer amazon since they are reliable
