How to tackle this crime has also win discussed. But what I noticed that the database of the victim -customers is being allegedly sold by the service providers like Reliance, Airtel or BSNL. This is the point from where very easily leakage of personal data can be stopped.
Certainly it is very difficult to touch these telecom operators who have large political clout. It might quite be possible that our politicians also get slice of this pie.
