As a bass player, the stamina of Steve Harris is incredible, he is a bass god. Steve uses some of the heaviest gauge strings on the market, which tune to a high tension and take a lot of strength to play. He really drives this song with his triplets. Just as impressive as Bruce.

The song is from the Powerslave album which has an Egyptian theme. The symbols your seeing are just stage art from that album. On the Powerslave tour, the entire stage was one huge Egyptian themed tome. I’ve seen almost every tour since Piece of Mind; Bruce is very high energy live. They always deliver live.

This was taken from the Somewhere Back in Time tour. It was a 'history' tour that meant only playing songs from 80s albums (most notably Powerslave, Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son). As Powerslave was a song based in Egypt and the album had Egyptian iconography all over it, the eye is just part of the decoration. The song Powerslave mentions the Eye of Horus so I assume that's what it's meant to be.

The 'eye' you pointed out on stage is an ancient Egyptian symbol. It could be either the Eye of Ra, which in the simplest way to explain it represents power! Or it could be the Eye of Horus, in which case, once again in the simplest way to explain it, is a symbol of protection.
Either way, they used it on and off since their album Powerslave which featured Egyptian themes.

Seen Maiden quite a few times over the decades And Bruce really started to get more theatrical in the past 20 years for sure. I mean used masks and some slight changes, but really started to do it w/ the Dance of Death tour and onward I noticed. Which is fine for me, I dig it. It helps tell the story.. I saw this tour that your watching here w/ my wife. It was epic. As for the eye of Horus actually.. It stems back to their Powerslave album and tour which was the Live after Death tour. And the song Powerslave itself is about Horus . This stage set up, is a "throw back" to the Live after Death tour. Maiden will do a tour after a new album and then between albums they'll do a "throw back" tour. Sometimes its just songs from the first 4 albums, this one which was a throw back to the 80's albums and their massive Powerslave tour, which is why the stage has all the Egyptian stuff on it.

Greetings and Love from Köln/Cologne, Germany.
The Wadjet (or Ujat, meaning “Whole One”) is a powerful symbol of protection in ancient Egypt also known as the “Eye of Horus” and the “all seeing eye”. The symbol was frequently used in jewellery made of gold, silver, lapis, wood, porcelain, and carnelian, to ensure the safety and health of the bearer and provide wisdom and prosperity. However, it was also known as the “Eye of Ra”, a powerful destructive force linked with the fierce heat of the sun which was described as the “Daughter of Ra“. The “eye” was personified as the goddess Wadjet and associated with a number of other gods and goddesses (notably Hathor, Bast, Sekhmet, Tefnut, Nekhbet and Mut

This song is a curiosity in terms of thier body of work. The symbology is a treat if you search online.

I've seen Maiden I only once sadly. It was definitely awesome. Bruce is one of the greatest frontmen in all of rock.

I've seen EVERY tour from Number of the Beast to present. And yes, Bruce is a squirrel, always running around for the whole shore.

I've seen Iron Maiden a half dozen times "OR" more.....
I saw two shows of this particular tour, same venue, 2 nights back to back.
First night/ 26th row Orchestra, second night FIRST ROW ORCHESTRA....
By this time I had been a Maiden fan for over 20 years. I missed the ORIGINAL WORLD SLAVERY TOUR....I think it was '86....
For reasons we won't share on open social media.....
And, one of my favorite Maiden songs is Rime of the Ancient Mariner.....
I actually got emotional when it played and I was first row......
Not only is Bruce Dickenson second to none as a front man, we HAVE to give props to the rest of the band, whom I've known all along...
Not on a personal level, but, on a magical, musical tour/extravaganza!!!
The video is great, but to see them "LIVE".......words, nor video can describe......
    Thanks for this!!!!!

The Somewhere Back in Time Tour has songs from the albums Powerslave & Somewhere in Time albums & the cover art for the Powerslave album the song is from is Pharaonic themed. The set has hyroglyphs also & then the back canves looks like the bowels of a sailing ship for the song. The song is based on the poem of the same name by English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
