Thank you Lorelei, for educating us threw these hard times, we all appreciated it. You are beautiful , strong and amazing. Have an amazing day or night!
I just want to say thank you for all of this information on rabbits. My bunny used to live outside, but now he lives in my bunny proofed room free-ranging and is so much happier.
my bunny absolutely helps me with things. she seems to know when i'm sad because she will hop up onto the bed or sofa and start licking me or nuzzling me. ever since i adopted her my depression has been much better. i love her so much.
My bunny is super old (9 years) and she is starting to have a lot of trouble with walking and cleaning because she falls over a lot. I give her “scratchy scratches” on her sides and butt and she licks my arm nonstop. ITS SO CUTE. But I think I’m helping her because she can’t really get those spots anymore.

early gang. I got my bunny early december and she’s finally starting to open up. Ive watched you and Lennon for 4 years now, so my bunny is in a very happy home :)
I'll never unsubscribe because my bunny and I used to watch these vids. We trained him and became pretty much part of the family. I came from school in the evening only to find him paralysed. I knew the bun was leaving this world. Our last memory of him was when we played his favorite song as he to his last breath. July 2021 - March 2023 Love you always!
All of your videos are really informative and helpful for new bunny parents. This one is also amazing because most of the times these signs people often ignore thinking that it might be a common thing for rabbit doing such .... Thanks for putting such efforts for all bunnies:)
When my rabbut spills his food and I go to put it back in the bowl he kinda grunts and i have to pet him and stuff to say I am not stealing your food lol
I feel reallly bad now because my past rabbit probably did all of those and we never reacted. He was in a extremely small cage, he barely got outside, got wrong food, and lived completely alone for about 2 years. at some point he got really sick and died. granted, i was like 4 when we had him, but i still feel guilty. its why im treating my two current rabbits almost like gods.. im probably driving my parents insane because i always ask them to buy a bigger cage but honestly thats way better than losing them again..
my bunny grunts as a way to communicate.. it’s so weird like she’ll grunt when she wants me to pet her, went she wants food, when she wants me to hand her a treat or toy. I can’t tell if she’s just more vocal bunny or what
The fact that animals are so smart and loving is just heart warming, they love you so much that they will do anything for you and warn you incase of emergency. ❤️
My rabbit sleep only with me as my child. He also eagerly waits for my coming and jumps, licks and scratch me and moves in the home with me. I think my rabbit is better than any dog.
My bunny is very vocal. We've adopted her about 2 years ago and she seems very comfortable around us... when we aren't moving. She'll even hop on us without a promise of treats. When you get close to her, unless you're very slow she'll grunt and sometimes lunge. It's certainly slightly decreased in the 2 years we've had her, but she was 3 when we got her so we're not sure what her previous household was like...
Mine also. Got used to the dog barks. Last time my rabbit thumped when I coughed so hard and couldn’t stop (poor baby that must have scared her). I had to pat her and comfort her by telling her it’s all ok.
My bunny just died I'm so heart broken he was so fine yesterday eating his food and jumping around but today he just wasn't normal by the time i was gonna take him to the vet he passed away im so sad😭😭😭😫😣😭 why him.God took everything away from me the smallest things i loved is all gone.I love u bunny bro RIP
Why blame God for nature? Everything dies, but sometimes people can idolize their animals because of human resentment. In other words, people put human standards on animals that leaves the completely heartbroken over an animal, this is often due to not feeling love from people but the biggest of all God himself
@@OneFluffyBun Say a criminal r*pes three girls and has to stand before the judge. The judge gives him the death sentence with how gruesome his crimes are. Then that brings me to my next point….you ever wonder WHY we die? It’s so strange because we ALL die. We live and die. Weird. God made death…..because that’s our wages. In other words sin is so serious in God’s eyes he’s given us the death sentence like the criminal above, “for the WAGES of sin is DEATH” -crazy right Meaning: have you ever lied before? Stolen? Used his name in vain? Pre marital sex? Even looked at someone with sexual intent? That would mean you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart and you have to face God on judgement day….where do you think he’ll send you? So how does this holy God even allow people in heaven? If everyone dies and is completely guilty before his eyes…. That’s where God became a man named Jesus Christ. Why did he do this? Well because we’re all so guilty before God’s eyes he became a man and was brutally murdered, hung on the cross to pay the FINE of our sin. If you’re standing before a judge and you’re obviously guilty, but someone pays your FINE…the judge can legally let you go. So then you can do what is RIGHT in the eyes of God and repent (turn from sin) turn from sexual immorality, lies, etc etc And put your TRUST in the savior Jesus Christ. Put all your faith and hope in him. After Jesus died he was raised in three days, no one found his body still to this day, and his actual blood is still living which is a scientific impossibility, but it exists.
My bunny thumped because: I gave him Italian Parsley (instead of normal Parsley), I tried to brush his bum and because of the sound of the narrator on a documentary about Henry Ford.
I just got this recommended about bunnies asking for help. My rabbit passed Thursday, now I'm sitting here crying, wishing I had paid even a little more attention to him and maybe I could have prevented his heart attack. I miss my little buddy. I'm sorry you were alone when it happened.
Some of these things aren’t always signs of something bad. You’ll learn your bunnies behavior and know when something is up. My bunny grunts when it’s meal time, especially if he feels his food was served too late. But I have been able to train him to stop lunging for his food bowl. He also grunts way less. He makes other noises that show excitement and contentment.
Omg I love your channel I saved a bunny that was for sale for free so I begged my mom and got him i don’t know what happened in his past life but he was scared of people but your tips helped a lot
when i first introduced my bunny to my roommate's cat, he immediately just ran towards me and hid in my lap. while i dont want him to be scared of his new roommate, It is nice to see he considers me as someone he can run to for safety. BTW for anyone that wonders this was 2 years ago, my bunny and the cat get a long now, sometimes they even groom eachother
I wish my cat and rabbit got along. Whenever my boonie sees my cat he grunts and attacks her and then the cat runs off. Like no chance, my bunny is only aggressive to my cat so I just give them separate roam of the house and when they are close I watch them and see what happens and if I need to separate them. So far the cat just runs away not interested in a fight and I've only seen them chill around eachother when the bunny explores the cat's territory. I think the main issue is the cat because she's old and super mouthy.
My bun is about to be 8 years old in a few months. I still enjoy these types of vids. I rarely need an alarm clock. If I start over sleeping, or forget to set my alarm, he makes sure I get out of bed. He has entered a phase where his kidneys are slowly failing. He is an old man now. However, like this morning, I was sick and puking; and he always comes running, and sits at my feet, licking my ankles. The bond and communication between us, has surpassed EVERY animal I have ever had before I met Butters. 8 year old California, and free range! 😁 PS: Whenever his thumping wakes me up at night, I will check the house, check the kids, then comfort Butters. I pick him up, and put him in bed. He will thump if strangers come to the door, or around the house (example: utility workers or FedEx) so no matter what it may be, I will always investigate. He is awesome!

I love having a rabbit that seeks me out if she has a problem, but the downside is that sometimes her idea of an emergency situation is "I was throwing things everywhere and my toy is in my water bowl and I got my paw wet so basically this is the end of the world"
I feel like when you have a strong connection and a loving relationship with your bunny, you often also just feel when something's wrong. Like, sometimes I enter their little room and I immediatly feel that something's not right. And I always follow my gut and I've never been wrong. You just know your bunny and their behavior and notice when somethings's off! At least when you're a real bunny mom at heart :'D love from Germany
Mine has an xpen and gets to roam everyday when I can keep an eye on him. He still bites and shakes the xpen bars. Sometimes does it from the outside even though the door is wide open. I think he might be a drama queen

Thanks so much for this vid Lorelei! The first time my bun thumped I thought something was seriously wrong with him, but I soon realized that he got spooked by a robin that was outside the window! Also Lennon is absolutely ADORABLE!!!
when my elderly rabbit was still alive she had a stroke and lost her balance a lot, towards the end she accidentally peed herself and I put her in the shower and washed her butt with warm water, spent a hour drying her and put her in a diaper, I regret some things I did very much and they will always haunt me in guilt but she died in my arms and spent her last 2 days in a nice diaper, blankets, pillows and cuddles, I kissed her as she passed, sometimes bathing is really needed but only butt baths
One of my bundles of joy thumps when he throws tantrums, which he does often over silly reasons. I'm talking he didn't get his favorite green with his dinner, or I'm taking too long to get the treat bag opened, or his brother is playing with his toy-- he's basically a human toddler. His brother, who is civilized, always takes the thumps seriously and freaks out. Then we get to deal with one terrified bunny and one throwing a fit at the same time! It's so much fun. He's lucky he's so soft and cute. Otherwise I might be mad at him for more than 6 seconds.
I had to have my Bunny spayed as she loved spraying pee on me which stopped afterward. Felt sorry for her post surgery as its a hard operation for the bunny but she got through it fairly quickly and was back to her usual self.

I SAW THAT!!!
I’m gonna spam report the channel poor rabbit ima help
I just saw the video. I am so disappointed. There bunny’s are cute though, but still.
Yes. Comments are turned off or I would give them the rabbit lecture of their life. Ima around their age but I keep my netherland dwarf in a pen inclosure. I used 3 X-pens that are each 8 feet long. I am spamming report on their channel.
*I had a pet rabbit..He died last month.. people think rabbits aren't smart & emotional enough as dogs..but you can't say that unless you have a rabbit..my bunny was the best thing ever happened to me..he was my best friend..one of my family member..I miss him so so so much..I am gonna love him forever..I just wish I'm gonna meet him again in the afterlife..*

My rabbit thumped once in it’s lifetime. It was when I was doing something on my pc and she was nipping at me yet I couldn’t stop what I was doing so after like 15 seconds of nipping she just thumped I look at her like what are you? A attention seeking spoiled brat
@Ayoka Gwyn so true
That's mean please try understanding your bunny then taking them annoyingly!😐🥺
@@aasmaafzal465 its a joke we’re just kidding I spend time with her all the time and I’m just making fun of her being annoyed that I stopped petting her for like a whole 30 seconds
@Unicorn Girl my rabbit knows two things: grub and attention
Ha! They thought if they alerted you through a danger signal that you’d listen to them. Genius if ya ask me
Wait why am I here I don’t have a bunny-
Eh they are my future pet thought!
same here
Same I. Just really want one
There’s lots of rabbits in rescue centres that desperately need loving homes, already spayed or neutered and vaccinated.
One of my rabbits starts thumping when I say I have to go to sleep, but it's just because he doesn't want me to leave! It always scares me because I think he's scared or sick but he's just being high maintenance hahaha
when our bunny was younger she started acting very aggressive. she collected hay and built a nest in her little wooden house. she protected that house and wouldn’t let anyone touch her so we took her to the vet. she was diagnosed pseudo pregnant and needed to be neutered. a few months later her sister acted the same and was also diagnosed to be pseudo pregnant and got neutered as well. now they are two old ladys loving each other but not just as sisters haha
my bunny was thumping only once in his entire life and i couldn't define what was the reason! it was silent everywhere, it was around 2 am... i had an impression he had seen a ghost or something... he didn't seem scared
when your bunny is bonded with you its like hi person who gives me food GIVE ME FOOD!
I REQUIRE SUSTANANCE
I MUSY CONSUME AGED APPLE TREE
Thanks for making this video
My bunny: has basically the whole first floor and 3 other bunnies to keep him company
Also my bunny: rattles the fence that keeps him out of our indoor garden
Me: 🤦♀️
Haha maybe he sees something tasty there
I've seen and heard a screaming bunny in the movie "Dominion" and this made me cry so much, especially because I imagined it could be one of my bunnies. I just hate any kind of harm on anyone soo so much. 😢
Something so small and quiet gives out lots of love :3
Thank you Lorelei, for educating us threw these hard times, we all appreciated it. You are beautiful , strong and amazing. Have an amazing day or night!
I just want to say thank you for all of this information on rabbits. My bunny used to live outside, but now he lives in my bunny proofed room free-ranging and is so much happier.
Yassssssss finally thank you soooo much Lorelei my queen if I ever have a question or doubt I always come here!❤️
my bunny absolutely helps me with things. she seems to know when i'm sad because she will hop up onto the bed or sofa and start licking me or nuzzling me. ever since i adopted her my depression has been much better. i love her so much.
That's so cute. I'm glad you can give her such a long life and care for her weakened state

I got my bunny early december and she’s finally starting to open up. Ive watched you and Lennon for 4 years now, so my bunny is in a very happy home :)
My bunny grunts when she wants me to acknowledge her 😂
I'll never unsubscribe because my bunny and I used to watch these vids. We trained him and became pretty much part of the family. I came from school in the evening only to find him paralysed. I knew the bun was leaving this world. Our last memory of him was when we played his favorite song as he to his last breath.

Really informative. I will definitely look out for these signs
My bunny likes to thump when he’s mad, too. Lol. But then, he is pretty good about communicating when anything is wrong in his world. 😄
my bunny grunts as a way to communicate.. it’s so weird like she’ll grunt when she wants me to pet her, went she wants food, when she wants me to hand her a treat or toy. I can’t tell if she’s just more vocal bunny or what
My rabbit grunts when he’s playing with his ball
i want to say thank you. your videos have helped me be a better rabbit parent and making me free roam my rabbit.

The fact that animals are so smart and loving is just heart warming, they love you so much that they will do anything for you and warn you incase of emergency. ❤️
If you weren't on youtube I wouldn't have known things about bunny's!
We love you and appreciate your time and effort!!🥺☺️❤️
no one will probably even read the message i wrote just under this, let alone lennon, but i want to say BUNNY'S ARE AMAZING!
Omg hi Lorelei! You convinced me to get a bunny and it was the best choice ever! Thank You
My rabbit isn’t scared of anything I mean like when my dog barks my rabbit just binkys and does zoomies and then asks me for snaccs
That same thing happened to me and my bunny Oreo ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Why blame God for nature? Everything dies, but sometimes people can idolize their animals because of human resentment. In other words, people put human standards on animals that leaves the completely heartbroken over an animal, this is often due to not feeling love from people but the biggest of all God himself
@@noellealdi881 because gods a fucking jerk and he took away the bunny like wtf is God doin' smh
@@OneFluffyBun
Say a criminal r*pes three girls and has to stand before the judge. The judge gives him the death sentence with how gruesome his crimes are.
Then that brings me to my next point….you ever wonder WHY we die? It’s so strange because we ALL die. We live and die. Weird. God made death…..because that’s our wages.
In other words sin is so serious in God’s eyes he’s given us the death sentence like the criminal above, “for the WAGES of sin is DEATH” -crazy right
Meaning: have you ever lied before?
So then you can do what is RIGHT in the eyes of God and repent (turn from sin) turn from sexual immorality, lies, etc etc
And put your TRUST in the savior Jesus Christ. Put all your faith and hope in him. After Jesus died he was raised in three days, no one found his body still to this day, and his actual blood is still living which is a scientific impossibility, but it exists.
@@noellealdi881 your a weirdo you have issues these are children you are arguing with do you understand that? Grow the hell up and seek help.
I REALLY hope my bunny never does these things

Mines called thumper, she doesn't stop thumping
Some of these things aren’t always signs of something bad. You’ll learn your bunnies behavior and know when something is up.
My bunny grunts when it’s meal time, especially if he feels his food was served too late. But I have been able to train him to stop lunging for his food bowl. He also grunts way less. He makes other noises that show excitement and contentment.

Oh i got rock music
My rabbit: you see that? The treat bag? Yeah, I need that, it's essential, can't live without it.
I just can’t get over the fact that Lennon is SO CUTE 🥰!

PS:
Whenever his thumping wakes me up at night, I will check the house, check the kids, then comfort Butters. I pick him up, and put him in bed.
He will thump if strangers come to the door, or around the house (example: utility workers or FedEx) so no matter what it may be, I will always investigate. He is awesome!

I love having a rabbit that seeks me out if she has a problem, but the downside is that sometimes her idea of an emergency situation is "I was throwing things everywhere and my toy is in my water bowl and I got my paw wet so basically this is the end of the world"
That sounds disastrous for the bunny, but you can reassure her everything will be alright (and mean it) 🤗

I feel like when you have a strong connection and a loving relationship with your bunny, you often also just feel when something's wrong. Like, sometimes I enter their little room and I immediatly feel that something's not right. And I always follow my gut and I've never been wrong. Thanks so much for this vid Lorelei! The first time my bun thumped I thought something was seriously wrong with him, but I soon realized that he got spooked by a robin that was outside the window! Also Lennon is absolutely ADORABLE!!!
when my elderly rabbit was still alive she had a stroke and lost her balance a lot, towards the end she accidentally peed herself and I put her in the shower and washed her butt with warm water, spent a hour drying her and put her in a diaper, I regret some things I did very much and they will always haunt me in guilt but she died in my arms and spent her last 2 days in a nice diaper, blankets, pillows and cuddles, I kissed her as she passed, sometimes bathing is really needed but only butt baths

random cute story for people:
my mother's rabbit used to pull on her pant leg when she was hungry
You did a good thing, they develop a lot of issue and have a risk of 80% of developing ovarian cancer past 3 years old, she now has much more chances to enjoy a calmer and longer life !
