Here's a CNC plasma tip. When you're doing the drawing for your welding tabs leave about a 1/16" strip connecting all your weld tabs. Do them in groups of 10 or whatever. This makes them way easier to fish out of the water and easier to remove the dross. If you do enough in a row they'll be supported by your table slats and won't even fall in the water. You can then just cut them apart with a zip disc in seconds. It works well for me anyway.
So very happy to see this new video. I know not every YT'r shares what's going on in their personal life, but I hope things are well with you and your family.
If there is anything thing I love more than new content from you ( and I’m sure Im not alone here) , is looking around the barn during this video and thinking “I remember the barn door build” “I remember when he put that flashing around the handles … and I remember when he twisted the handles” “I remember when you weighed your welding table” and I always remember liking every video and looking forward to the next. Glad you’re back for what I hope is a nice long run… ✌🏾
I was just going through your older videos last night lamenting the fact that you hadnt posted in a while! What a blessing. So good to see a new video come up! Hope you are well!
I watch Bourbon and love this amazing ladder! Can’t wait to see his version of this but I love the quality and work you put into it. It’s great to see you two team up
It's refreshing to see a very nice project completed and shared without an abundance of superlatives used to describe it. The project is done, functional and elegant and everybody is happy !
As an architect I planned such a staircase laste year. Unfortunately it never came to reality because of the skyrocketing prices over here. Glad to see your finished piece. Thanks for sharing
Man, I can't tell you how good it is to see you putting out videos again! I was afraid some knot head stopped by your house uninvited and ruined it for the rest of us!! Please keep them coming!! Really enjoy watching your builds, in fact, you were a huge inspiration for me to get back out in my shop and get to building things.
I could totally imagine a railing that looks exactly like the folded up stairs, on it. Would double the work though, but I imagine it would look great. Awesome vid, and result. Looks great.
Great project! I'm guessing if one was so inclined, it would be easy to implement a railing as well, and perhaps a handle to avoid pinching the hand, but - it's also possible to just be aware of what you're doing!
Not a project for everyone, as the end user related, he pinched his finger grabbing the wrong section. Maybe a colored handle to safely fold and unfold?
These are more than a railing away from meeting code. No kickplate, that incline looks mighty steep. Beautiful project but terrible stairs. Maybe call it a ladder? Definitely keep kids and lawyers away from it
Oh that would look so nice, either a number of related small paintings, or one large scene that uses the specific angle of the stairs to do something unique.
Hey man, I know you are busy on the farm almost always but you make such great videos. Great to see you back and would love to see more. You’re a hard worker and I admire it and admire you’re craftsmanship
Just looked up your page recently hoping maybe I had missed an episode, but nope… I’m excited for this one! Thanks for the new content and I hope you’re doing well!
Missed you! Enjoy your fab vids, would also like to see more farm vids. Like the folding stairs! If they turned into a down slide, oh well, welcome back.
I was about to unsubscribe, but then I thought "let's keep it until New Year, he is active mostly in winter months". I'm really glad I didn't leave as this is my favorite maker channel.
So happy to see a new video Justin! As you don’t seem to be in any other social media I was worried by the lack of news.. or wondering if some very good news was coming our way from you and your wife :) keep up the good work
Can't tell you how happy I am to see this video.
Same, love this channel
I wish he did a video a week
You and me both
That makes all of us
Can you tell the password to the stair safe? LOL
you could have easily made the video twice as long as other people do, but appreciate you not dragging out unnecessary.

Our supplier also always does this
Great tip

Sooo cool to see the Rainfall Projects barn again!!! Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays to you and yours!!!
That turned our really nice! I hope the internet doesn't give you all the 'love' Woby got for his folding stairs.
Two of my favourite makers 😃 Great to see a new video from you! 👍
Great to see you back here! Hope you’ve had a good year! Looking forward to whenever you have time again :)

a knot head?
Those are incredible! I love how artsy it looks when its not stairs. Awesome job!
Back to your old format! Love it!
Where you been?! What’s been happening? Hope everything has been going well and you all are happy & healthy!
So happy to see a video!
Very neat and I like how it has decorative aspects when folded up.
This reminds me of Woby Designs folding stairs, but this is more robust with the metalwork. Love It!
Super happy to see this video! Glad you are back and didn't disappear from the tube
Brilliant! Good to see you back.
I could totally imagine a railing that looks exactly like the folded up stairs, on it.
Would double the work though, but I imagine it would look great.
Awesome vid, and result. Looks great.
OMG.. this is a pleasant surprise.. Good to see your videos again. Hope you took the time off to recharge your batteries, or enjoy family :)
I've been thinking about you these last couple of weeks and that's been a long time since the last video. Good to see you're still kicking.
Glad to see you back. Thank you.
Very Neat. First time I've seen stairs like those. Pretty ingenious. At first glance, it looks like an art installation.
What a gorgeous build. I hope all is well with you, your family, and the farm.
i agree! precisely correct man
Fantastic. I love seeing a good job done. Quality never goes out of style!
The stairs look great and I am glad to see you on YT. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Cant believe it. He is back !

@@pepperypeppers2755 Had me Laughing about the Kids and Lawyers, How do you tell the difference other than one is in a suit?
Holy crap! You're not dead!! 😂 So pleased to see you back 🙌
No way!!!
So happy you're back! Hopefully the harvest went well.
Bourbon moth is great stuff. Oddly enough, his margarita recipe is killer good.
Oh my goodness! Those are amazing!!! You're a genius. I would buy a house, take out a set of stairs, and put those in because they're so amazing!
I was getting real depressed thinking you weren’t making videos anymore. Your very inspiring
Depressed? C'mon!
I assumed they had a baby.
@@Horstelin lol. He’s entertaining I get bored not having no one to watch.
Great to see you back, it’s been to long bud, catch you soon 👍👍👌🇮🇪
Ahh, a sigh of relief. Very glad to see this video. Welcome back.
Great to see your video. Always enjoy your fantastic skills and approach to your projects. Look forward to your next video.
Love seeing new content!
Awesome design. Looks like you need a bigger welding table. :-)
So glad to see the new video! Stairs turned out great. Excellent design and execution.
I've literally been googling to make sure you were still around! Glad to see you post
Love it - simplicity and craftsmanship at its finest
Really nice project, you could even use the bottom side of the steps as a canvas for some art or photo frames etc.
Oh that would look so nice, either a number of related small paintings, or one large scene that uses the specific angle of the stairs to do something unique.
That was my first thought too. Definitely something I'd do with stairs like that. I think a mountain side landscape would look real nice.
Fun project! Glad to see you back!
Was just checking your channel for a new video last week. Been WAAAY too long. Glad to see you back!!
The execution from planning through to final assembly is impressive.
That is a nice project that looks and works great. You have great welding skills also.
It's good to see two guys from my state collabing. Especially in two hobbies of mine. Now you should both make a range video too!
Great to see you back with an impressive project and build...
Wow! Not only functional but a piece of art?
Hey man, I know you are busy on the farm almost always but you make such great videos. Great to see you back and would love to see more. You’re a hard worker and I admire it and admire you’re craftsmanship
Good to see you back with a new project! 🎉
Two of my favorite UA-cam creaters . Good work
I never comment, but when I see a master at his craft I think it deserves the recognition. Great job!
I love how one of the most replayed moments is when he is typing in his code to the under stairs storage area.
He’s back!!!! Thrilled!!!!
We’ve missed you sumthin’ crazy, man. Delighted to see new content from you!! Don’t make it so long between projects. 👍🏻💙
Crops must be out of the field 😀 Glad to see a new video.

I am a little surprised at how much work went into it.
That staircase will last forever.
Well built.
