    Many of you want to lose some weight, and you would especially like to lose some of that weight that you're carrying around your midsection. Now if your goal is to find the best exercises to help you lose that belly fat once & for all, but you don't really have access to a gym or any equipment then this video is one that you definitely don't want to miss, because today I'm going over the best exercises to help you burn more fat & lose more weight right in your own home. Let me just first start with the painful truth that most other videos on belly fat won't even talk about. And that's the myth of spot reduction. We can't only reduce fat from our bellies without also reducing fat from other sections of our body. So if we can get your body into a state in which it's burning fat for fuel that means your body will be burning some fat from your thighs, some fat from your love handles, some fat from your face & hands, and some fat from your belly as well. This is the only way & the fastest way to reduce belly fat, by putting ourselves into a state in which our body is burning more overall fat for fuel, and as we lose fat from our whole body we will also lose it from our midsection. So the question becomes how do we put our body into a fat burning state & the best way to do that is to create a larger caloric deficit. And the truth is that exercises like crunches, situps, & leg raises not only do they not target belly fat, again because spot reduction is a myth, but exercises like these also don't use very large muscles & don't involve multiple joints so they don't burn that many overall calories. The only true way to create a larger caloric deficit with exercise is by increasing the calories burnt from each of the exercises we perform as well as each of our overall workouts. This is why I want to give you 5 at home exercises that will burn the most calories in the least amount of time. At the end of the video i'll explain how you can combine these exercises into a high intensity interval training circuit to create a very effective at home workout to help you lose weight & burn faster. Let's start with the very first one which is A combination of a burpee finished off with mountain climbers. Burpees are by far one of the best exercises that you can do with no equipment to burn a lot of calories. This is because of 2 main reasons. 1 burpees will work a lot of muscle groups & multiple joints at the same time. You're essentially going to work your whole body. The second reason burpees burns so many calories is because a lot of these muscles being worked are large. Larger muscles will burn more calories then smaller ones & incorporating more muscles into one movement will burn even more calories. To perform this exercise start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, bend your knees & your back as you lower your hands to the floor. Place your hands to the outside of your feet & jump your feet out into a push-up position. If you can't hop out into a push-up position walk your feet out one at a time. Once in the push-up position lower yourself to the ground & push back up. Next you're going to slightly raise your hips & perform four mountain climbers by bringing your knee into your chest & tapping your foot on the ground alternating legs with each rep. Once you do for you stand up & jump straight up with your hands over your head. Then repeat from the beginning. You'll immediately feel how taxing this exercise is on your body because after you do just a few reps you'll notice that you're breathing pretty heavy. Next we have the dive bomber with two sit throughs. Dive bombers are excellent at working your upper body especially the chest shoulders & triceps & sit throughs are great at making you breath nice & heavy. You want to start this exercise in a downward dog position which looks like you're in a push-up position except with your hips really high up towards the ceiling. From this position you want to lower yourself to the ground for what looks like an inclined push-up. As you near the of the movement & your chest comes closer to the ground you want to drop your hips to the ground & press your upper body up so you wind up in...

    We used to do a modified version of Burpies in Boot Camp. Back then, it was "8 Count Body Builders" where scissor kicks were used, instead of Mountain Climbers, to your pushup. Mountain Climbers were a separate exercise then. The methods he described does work. Doing it at 18 is far different at 58. I'm going to get back at it cause I know it works.

    Great recommendations brother! I regularly workout and watch what I eat but I’m always looking for at home workout. First time out blew me away. I’m a few days in now and it’s still tough. I’m just adding reps and increasing the time slowly. Great core builder! Thank you.

    I really really appreciate your set by set instruction. I rarely see that on other videos. Other videos do them at full speed and then I have to figure them out. I hope you do more video with this format. I have been working out for over 20 years and it is always great when you see a video that can help anyone improve their form, also love this workout.     BE WARNED: Whilst this is a great routine and you will see results MAKE SURE you absolutely get the last exercise correct with regards to not over extending your knees. As someone with 6 years experience in the gym I was sure I was doing it correct and felt no pain initially but now my knees have been a mess for well over a month.

      You need someone at least somewhat fit to demonstrate the proper movements and form. You don't want Sloppy Joe and his beer belly who is 40 lbs overweight and spent the last 15 years since high school PE sitting on the couch giving you exercise advice, unless it's after he's gotten in shape.

    Alright I'm starting this January 24th, 2019. I have a week off of school and a lot of free time. I'll do this for that week and see how I do. I'll try to remember to update this next Wednesday or Thursday 😅
    Edit: So I did see great result! I lost 7 pounds but I also change my diet a little. The workouts were hard at first but it got easier the more times I did it.     Great video! For everyone saying this was click bait, pls tell me what I missed bc his title reflects nothing about spot reduction. I think you guys are making assumptions based on a lot of other videos, which i must say is easy to do, when there are so many. Secondly, yes these routines are not easy but if it was then they wouldn't produce the most burns of calories, giving you (crazy fast) results. So pls stop complaining and leaving negative remarks about it not being "beginner" friendly, when its not suppose to be. 6 secs in the vid, he clearly states that if its your GOAL etc etc, this video is for you. Every beginner/ over weight person/ myself, had to stop thinking about quick results at some point and learn through proper research, that starting slow with workouts that are somewhat comfortable is the best GOAL to set FIRST. Starting out I wasn't interested in 30 min to 45 min workouts but when I ran across a vid titles bur pees for 10 min! It had me at 10 :). I quickly realized 1min in that I wasn' t going to make it :(. I did not have the stamina of a pro athlete sadly. But I didn't quit, my goal just became 3 min and I pushed myself a min up every week. Moral of story, you shouldn't be looking for video's like this for/ quick results, if you know your not ready and instead become more focus on proper nutrition and workout's that will give you the most benefit for the stage you're body is in currently. Best of luck to you all!
    Oh i forgot to add my results. If you are able to put your body through the motions, these routines work! But you can not slack up on them or your diet. At 6"3 256 pounds all I did was 2 sets of 3-10 min burpees a day with a few jumping jacks/high knees (simple moves) in between, to keep my heart rate up. Although I had fat on my thighs, arms and face, I mostly wanted my protruding stomach to go away so I could stop sucking it in around people. Four months after committing (with a bit of slacking off ), im currently 231 pounds and while I dont have a 6 pack, i no longer have to do the breathe in and hold method in public. As the guy and this vid said, these exercises target your entire body but that is the best way to target the stomach for those of us who hold most of our fat in that region.

    I've been doing the burpy move while singling my roof for the last 3 days. Today I should be done. I've lost 8 pounds and am really sore, but feeling great. I'm looking forward to riding my bike, walking, and running again. I'd stopped those activities only to concentrate on the roof. Whew.
    At 68 years of age I'm still rockin' and losing a bit of belly fat.

Yes, the explanation was relatively thorough and very useful. The FORMAT with the examples, the alternatives for physical limitations combined with all the other good stuff is what hits the home run for me.
