Well done! You used the music from the original “Imagine” fan trailer if I’m not mistaken from a thousand years ago. Very well played. This is my favorite PO memorial vid. Thanks

    Nicely done.
Only a couple comments posted before mine. I'm surprised at the negativity. There's always the parroted hate of Star Citizen hate from non-players, it's interesting to see it from previous players. The vast majority of people I've chatted with that play currently, love it. So these former-player-hater comments, are always peculiar. It must be from what they THOUGHT SC was going to be?
I've only been playing 2 years, though I've heard about it much longer, I just never looked into it because I didn't have much time for gaming, and it wasn't a priority in my personal life.
In the first year I played, I had no idea what I was doing, and didn't play 'much' anyways, so maybe the bugs didn't bother me much. I played maybe once a week, or once every week and a half. But the last few months have been amazing!
I've not had any system changes, and last night I was peaking at 70fps, and stabling around 50fps. Previously, earlier in the year, I was stable around the high 30s.
So, for me, who's heard how buggy the game was in previous years, the player-hater-comments, leave me kind of dumbfounded. We've all heard how buggy it was, but I've not experienced that at all this past year. Yeah, 3.18 was a trainwreck, and in concert with poorly timed fleet week, just made things utter dog poop.
Lately, I'm playing a couple times a week, and I've only had maybe...four 30k's all summer, which is kinda moot because before 30k's these days, the game is usually pretty smooth. Last year, for me, and my same system, it was daily 30k's, and a constant buggy nightmare. Which contributed to me not playing much.
I'm looking forward to all the things in the pipeline, that SC seems to have planned. My own hangar that I can complain about that is an organized mess, that I need to clean? Yes, please! Who cares if it takes 2 years to materialize for some CIG promise, or 2 months? What's the rush? Are you dying for "beta", so thousands of new players can join, and development can stop? If Star Citizen was 'finished', and it was released in say, 2018 - with development being 'finished', I guarantee none of us would be thinking about the game today. Everything that is 'finished', becomes a flash in the pan, and people forget about it. With CIG we have all these amazing new technologies that are so immersive, it keeps me coming back! I bought a $45 dollar starter ship to get into this 'game', 2 years ago, and it's the BEST entertainment/videogame/fun money I've ever spent, because I'm still playing it. How many Switch games have I dropped 50 or 60 bucks on, beat it, or didn't beat it, and I don't play anymore? All of them. Though, to be fair, I do have a love for Zelda: BOTW, even though I don't play it much.
SC is enjoyable NOW. We have major AAA game studios releasing buggy woke trash these days, and you're complaining about SC? The modding community have to mod to hell every game released these days, just to make them decent. I'm looking at you, Bethesda. There's literally a commonly used 'mod organizer' app, because AAA games are released fully broken, and ridiculous. Starfield on day 2 of release has like a thousand mods already for it. Yeah, there's some silly mods, but many are mods that just fix dumb asinine crap, like font, inventory menus, and text wrapping.
Since I've started playing, the game has gotten better. Part of me wants to tell the old timers to lower their expectations, but...maybe we're all just biased. If you're an old timers, and think it's getting worse? Maybe it is...for you. When I log in to play, and read chat, it's always 98% positive, and people love it, which I agree with, because that's my experience as well. Maybe it'll suck in the future, who knows. Sorry to see the old timers get cranky and leave, but everything changes I guess, especially our perceptions of what a good time, and a good game is.
To anyone reading these comments, Star Citizen is fun. It does have a learning curve, though. Not a PhD learning curve like Escape From Tarkov, but there is a slight one. If a couple minor bugs annoy you, maybe the game isn't for you. But trust me, just play the game a couple times, talk to people in the chat, and I'd say there's a pretty good chance, you're going to enjoy the game.

Rest in Peace Port Olisar. You were my first station in Star Citizen. You were my home for many years. My safe place. I could look out the window and watch traffic. I joined star citizen at a great time, and now I find myself not having logged in in 3+ weeks. It's not what it used to be. It's buggier, things are broken, and somehow, even though they've added a lot, they haven't added anything of value. Just more time sinks without adding in the fun. It's possible I may not ever play Star Citizen like I used to, and that's okay. Pyro will be cool if we ever actually get it. But it's run it's course for me.
PO will forever have a place in my heart as home. The place you logged into and stepped out into the Verse for your first time. With it gone it's not the same Star Citizen. Now the new station is the same boring copy paste crap that all the other stations are. I stopped giving CIG money in 2021 when we didn't get Pyro, and here we are staring down at 2024 and we still don't have Pyro, won't get it until mid 2024 at the earliest most likely. You don't deserve my money, you don't deserve my time. Neither of those are valued by CIG anyway.
They should leave PO in, just make it somewhere nobody ever goes, like MIC L5. But they won't.
Maybe you have a differing opinion on the matter, but PO will be missed by me. It was Star Citizen. It's been around since basically the beginning. And now it's gone. And so am I.

Im gonna ctrl-v what i've said on the goodgames video
This got me all emotional not gonna lie, still greatly upset at how unimaginative\underwhelming Serpahim is.
And what makes it worse is the interview with Todd telling us how they "listened to the players" only to give us another copy pasta of the other stations.
It would have been quite simple moving the open pads to the main lobby and throwing an airlock on both ends to walk out onto them instead of using an elevator.
Orison has a great view and removing that really does it a great disservice.
