We went from Oklahoma to California and the Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose were the featured performers at Disneyland the day we were there. Great memories. We were gone for almost 2 weeks and both of us had quit our jobs to get married. To save money we stayed with friends several places ("crashed at their pad, man" in true 60's lingo). My lovely bride and I now have 51 years together and counting. Peace out.

Only three albums before they broke up over religious issues (one brother joined a Black Hebrew Temple and the other became a born-again Chrsitian) but the music is everlasting.

I remember my dad used to sing this song when I was around 7- or 8-years old back in the early 70's when it came on the radio in our old 66 Chevy on a.m. radio. Being that I was a Sam Cooke fan at an early age due to my dad always singing Sam Cooke songs I remember thinking this was Sam Cooke when I first heard it and still to this day, I can feel Sam Cooke's influence in the lead singer's voice.
