The correct EU figs, which were only confirmed after the launch, are:

Starting price of HD RG/SG in the USA is $25999. And these bikes have dropped 3-4k in the 2024 model year here in the states from the previous.
Even with a significant price drop it is a tragic buy. Ugly, slow, unreliable, did I mention ugly?, ridden by sad old boomers. Harleys have such a tragic image here, the only brand I'd never consider.
Quick shifter and blipper? 😉 Definitely a lifestyle bike. Test rode one many years ago on a Warrs open day at the Ace Cafe (I believe it was an Electra Glide) and I came away thinking it was an over priced one trick pony. There does seem to be a lot more negative comments flying around these days about reliability (especially electronics) and finish.
As a long term harley owner I got bored a couple of years ago and traded for a KTM 1290 Super adventure. The bike was spectacular.. but the thrill of electronic gizmos and 160bhp didn’t keep me happy and I’m happy to be back on a Fatboy. I realised that I didn’t dream of being Rossi, but I did dream of being Peter Fonda.
Street glide has so many upgrades from last year. 130tq isnt bad. I like the fixed fairing.

So Si, if you were offed either a HD Glide or the Wing, which would you go for?
Wing every time. Better riding position, engine, transmission, tech, handling etc. Phenomenal bike.

The costs of the new Harleys in Europe is steal....

Is the tray lockable? If so that would be very handy.
I don't think it is, sadly.
Or you go buy Low Rider S 117 or ST (6k cheaper) .... put forward control's on ...Same engine charge exhaust opens up the engine (due to eu laws) No stupid electronics brilliant, ground clearance 300kg save your self 70kg ...
done Yorkshire to South of France not a problem and done the ride with two bmw 1250gs fuel range the same
Not having a view while you were riding made me feel sick, nice unbiased review though, would like to see a group test BMW, R18B and K1600B, Indian Challenger and Chieftain
I like Harleys, I really do. I borrowed a sportster 12 many years ago and loved it.... but they are stupidly overpriced for what they are. Even old ones hold their price, and the older you get the worse they get. Until I win the lottery I'll stick with my Japanese street bikes which do everything a Harley can, apart from being a Harley for £24,000 less......

Beautiful machines but aside from the price not really suitable for uk roads. They belong on the wide, straight highways of the usa. Thanks for the review and ride.

Imagine removing analogue clocks and replacing them with a TFT screen that displays fake analogue clocks. Tell me analogue clocks are better without saying analogue clocks are better.
The new Road Glide/Pan America fairings look so ugly. Not only that, they don't have any historical classic design and look to them. Looking at them just from the front of the bike I'd be surprised if anyone could recognise it as being a Harley Davidson.

Good to see a Harley lunch and not a race track in sight. Shame the view was killed by that thing on the handlebars. I'll stick to my 2001 Sportster 1200, it really is a great bike to ride.😊
To anyone looking at one of these, please visit your local Harley dealer and look at one which is three years old (previous models). If you love corrosion and rust, these are the bikes for you! Harley charge the earth and can’t even match the paint quality of Lexmoto….
Seems like the CVO is the bike that this should be. For the price, this seems way too low rent

It’s like putting cruise, a tft screen and a boot on a tractor 🚜, then charging over £10k more than a full kitted out BMW 5 series.

I saw a Harley last year at the dealership in Denmark 72000$ you can only shake your head and keep walking, plus there is nothing exciting or cool about a Harley. They are just meh
I am an American, born and raised in the USA. Harleys are ridiculously overpriced. For that matter , all touring motorbikes are overpriced. I have owned a Sportster 1200 Low for years now and it is great but there is no way I will pay usurious prices to any manufacturer for a motorcycle. The physical content is just not there. GL1800? Not worth it. K1600? Not worth it.
Think of it this way. Tens of thousands of dollars and you still get wet when it rains. It’s as ignorant as buying a convertible and driving through Arizona during their monsoon season with the top down.

Them's two pig ugly looking bikes. Never been a fan of HD apart from the NYPD Electra Glide in the movie Electra Glide in blue .. a nice ornament to polish on your driveway on a Sunday afternoon! Honda had the big tourer market for me, I've had 1100, 1200 and 1500 GoldWings .. 1100 hands down the better of the lot, it all started to get silly with the 1500 and then there was the 1800. I'll stick with my '02 ST1300 Pan and '07 BMW R1200GSA until I can't throw my leg over any more!!!
