Alright y'all I screwed this one up. The standard discount for anything Cardo is 10% not 20% 🤦🏻♂ This past weekend was an even bigger discount than what I thought. Either way you still save quite a few sheckles on the Packtalk Edge or any of their products but the amount was off. Sorry about that
Been watching for a month and loving the channel. Bought the 24 white onyx pearl and so happy with the new bikes. Had the Harley tuner in an old 21 RGL and I thought it did fine
It’s a good route with SE tuner with just doing some slip ons and breather to keep warranty intact at least till you get some heavy miles on to work the bugs out then do full 2 into 1 cam and dyno jet tuner
I originally planned to buy a ‘24 Road Glide Limited. When I saw the new Road Glide, I had to get one of those instead. So for my upgrades… I put on a king, tour-pak with matching paint from Harley and dressed it up with all the the Harley lights and the passenger backrest so it looks like the tour pak that comes on the Limited. (But I’m still looking for a way to incorporate some tour-pak speakers). Apart from that I went with the traditional style saddlebag guards, a 12 inch Harley windshield and the mid frame heat deflectors that go on the frame in front of the seat. Since I live in the frozen north I had the dealer install set a set of heated grips for those cooler spring and fall days. Performance wise, have a set of Screamin’ Eagle Street Cannon slip ons sitting in the garage that I plan to install sometime in the future. Good on your mods. But I’m not a fan of those tipover guards.
I just bought the 24 street glide but haven’t rode it yet. White Onyx with chrome trim, which seems to be a much rarer combo compared to white onyx and black trim. Going to apply ceramic coating so waiting on that to get delivered before putting miles on the bike. Also, the weather here in central Oregon isn’t cooperating yet. Your thoughts on upgrades match mine very closely. I totally agree about the heavy breather adding to the “ST” look of the bike. I was also considering the chopped tour pack for similar reasons. Just installed Tab Performance exhaust and screaming eagle tuner, which were worked into the purchase. Thanks for the Cardo discount code too!
Not fun riding the SG on wet roads. I've NEVER had a boot full of water and wet pants up to my knees. The bike was covered in road slop. It's got to be the smaller front fender. Don't want to think about riding in the actual rain on this.
I did the SE wedge air filter and KW slip ons along with a few take offs from my 17 SGS. I tried a SE tuner, but the data port isn't functioning. The port doesn't read the tuner nor the service departments computer. Now I have to drop it off at the dealer so they can track down the issue.
I have a 24 road glide billiard gray chrome package just wondering if you have had any more check engine lights? Mine came on with 400 miles took it in said it needed software update they did it drove 3 miles after leaving check engine light came on back on now have to take it back to Harley
I just bought a billiard grey 24 street glide. Three days after I left the dealer the bike felt like it chugged on me and stalled before take off at a light. The engine light came on. Later that evening I went out to the garage to check and see if the light went off the garage smelt so bad of gasoline I had to open the garage door for half an hr. Took it to the dealer they ran t the code it was an electrical fault. They cleared it and told me not to worry about it if it comes on again then to bring it back. Same with the gas smell, said new bikes will make different smells if it does it after 500 miles to bring it back.
So far... it sounds like the best thing to do is to take the 2024, and trade it in on a left over 2023 without all the issues. Not that there's actually a quality issue. I think it's the new tech, and not enough real world testing. It just wasn't ready for release.
Hi….im a new to HD so I have a crazy question. I got 2024 street glide whisky fire, but what if I decide to change a faring so it becomes road glide….is it actually possible?????
Appreciate the information and view points. I have had no luck finding bag guards for my '24 road glide (even at HD). Do you happen to know the p/n for the bag guards you put on your '24?
Liscense plate holders the "ugliest" part? I don't think so. Nor is it essential IMO. Yeah, legally you gotta have a plate, but, the stock one isn't any uglier than the crap people are replacing them with. Save your money.
I just bought 24 Street glide with tab performance Slip-Ons and I don't think the person did anything with tunner.. I think only when you mess with the intake do you then need to dial it in
My old 2010 E-glide came with passinglight on the batwing, crashbars on the rear and I did put a docking bracket on it for a luggage rack. And I also bought a aluminium adventure pack and a backrest for it. Everything you really need for a real touring bike. Everything else is for the posers! 😂
Man, those guards are just plain ugly. As for the handle bars, I rode a 2024 streetglide as well as a 2024 roadglide today. I did not like the higher hndlebar of the roadglide at all. The lower bar of the streetglide felt much more comfy for me (Am not tiny, 184sm, but I just don't like my arms near horizontal).
I would have to say the aesthetics is ruined on your bike with that 2 ft camera stick on your handlebars. I know you need it for filming but you mentioned aesthetics numerous times during the video.
I swear Harley gets a pass every time they put out pretty looking junk… This makes me think they don’t really put any real R&D on their bikes before making it available for public… It’s like let’s get these things selling, we have plenty of ginny pigs on the road… Happens all the time in their new bikes. I’ve bought 1st year manufacturing in about all other brands and never had any weird issues…
I’ve been saying that for years if they’d just stop with the looks and put more of the money into drive train because at the end of the day no Harley will look the same after it leaves the dealer looks is what someone will change and the rest will change everything because the number 1 pitfall for any HD since the beginning of the twin cam is the crank and last I knew that’s the main component of the whole bike
@michaelsomales6466 Complaining is how things get better. It doesn't mean you don't like a certain brand, it can mean you care about it and want it to be even better. Shoot, a good amount of the inventions in the world wouldn't exist if people didn't complain about something being inconvenient or dumb first
I N S A N I T Y to see someone spend 45,000 on a new CVO to then start replacing parts when they’re still 3 to 4 yrs. from paying it off ! M A D N E S S ☝️

I’ve been watching BoDean lol love both you guys channels
Got the same color
I have the sharkskin blue. Almost went with whiskey fire, it's sharp!!
Just picked mine up in whiskey fire
i got the onyx white as well , absolutely love the color ... HATE the skyline and speakers

Thanks for the deal on the packtalk edge! I've been debating between the Harley vs Cardo one. This made the decision for me.
D&D 2 into 1 fat cat or D&D Boss Borezilla for 120 and larger displacement. Loved the Borezilla on the 120R I had on my road Glide.

Which lights did you end up running on the tour pak?

love the looks of the 24 except the front fender, too short how much road crap is going to hit the radiator ?
That bike is gorgeous
Not seeing any links posted. Awesome video and very interested in some of the options you mentioned.
Spend thirty grand then immediately have to perform upgrades. Gotta love HD.
You don't have to
also it's like 26 grand but yes some of this stuff is ridiculously priced and should come with the bike

What is the adapter for the microphone?
Where do i get that adaptor for CarPlay?
Is there a link for that adapter

Where did you get those saddlebag guards at? Those are nice. I want some like that on my ‘23 RGL.
Appreciate the information and view points. I have had no luck finding bag guards for my '24 road glide (even at HD). Do you happen to know the p/n for the bag guards you put on your '24?
Where do you get the console from? Harley???
Is the SE Street Pro Tuner a plug-n-play option? Just plug it in and leave it?
I’ve did a stage 1 with the Rineharts. And the HD heavy breather and tuner. Thinking of doing a Cam for more torque any suggestions?
Still waiting on actual link for car play adapter would love to have that one but haven’t seen it on Amazon
Do you have a link for that license plate bracket
I used your link to look at the saddlebag guards, but couldn’t find them. Do you have a direct link for them? Thanks for your content!

If you don't use screaming eagle slip on and use the chrome werks, does it void your warranty?
Where are the links to the products??
Hey, how has your motorcycle been since you had issues?
A HD air cleaner for $599 is essential? I love the ST air cleaner look also but not for that price!
Great video..👍
Thanks man
Just got a whiskey fire 24 street glide do we need a tunner to swap the slip on ? What about air intake ?
I just bought 24 Street glide with tab performance Slip-Ons and I don't think the person did anything with tunner.. I think only when you mess with the intake do you then need to dial it in
@@jasonjones8209 thanks for the info !
HI, I just bought a 2024 Street Glide and I'm wondering if you know of any direct replacement horns that are loud enough to be heard?
the factory horn is super loud... unlike the speakers
@@Trump_Won_AGAIN Unfortunately, the horn on my 2024 Street Glide is not very loud, so I'm looking for an upgrade that doesn't sound like a moped

Damn it Harley makes me pay for parts!
I like it
during checkout, i entered the hegshot code but only got 10%. Meh...i mean, ok, it pays for tax i guess.
YOU FORGOT THE WIND SHIELD . ITS A JOKE . ESPECIALY IF YOUR 6 FOOT 6.

SE tuner is a garbage , nothing beats real dyno tune
True but it's all that's available right now
Chopped tour pack looks dumb
Every time I see that cheap looking carbon fiber, IT REMINDS ME OF THAT CHEAP PLYWOOD......
LOL
NOT ON ANY BIKE I'D OWN.
Have you seen it in person? Actually looks like marble. Looks great to most I’ve talked to including me.
