Purchased one barely almost 2 months ago, superb motorcycle. Words can't describe how HD engineers knocked it out of the park with this one!
Test rode one yesterday. Put it in sport mode and it flys.
Very smooth.
I just bought the 2023 Street Glide CVO brand new 3 weeks ago. I still have a 2019 Road Glide CVO that I also bought brand new. I have had several different bikes being that im 62 years old and I have to say, without a doubt, the BEST bike I've ever rode. It is smooth, VERY fast, comfortable and extremely nimble. The Stereo actually is loud enough at speeds to hear crisp and clear. The Brembo brakes AND the inverted forks are simply amazing. The price was right since it was a 2023 model and I dont have to add anything but a set of slip on pipes. Amazing.
But, do you like it?
The new fairings look great. And I liked the old look too.
New fairing looks like they want it to look like an indian
Clean AF , love that color!
The new Street Glide is a looker for sure. Elegant is the proper word for it and i don't mind paying a premium price if the product is of a premium quality. I have to say i really like this! Well done Harley 👍🏼
I did some significant test riding of both the Road Glide and the Street Glide. Fantastic bikes kudos to HD. I ended up trading for the Road Glide, because it did a little better on wind protection than the SG. Coming off bikes that have had the ability to mount lower fairings, there's not many options for wind coming up from underneath the tank
Was the wind protection that significant?
Is it just me or the new SG is 10x prettier than the RG?
The rg just looks too modern for a harley but the sharknose always split people
They just didn't wreck the Street Glide as much....
Yess!😉
❤I bought one.
The latest RG is UGLY.
Awesome Motorcycle! Harley Davidson really stepped it up! Love The Street Glide in that color 😃😎
I got news for you no matter what Harley-Davidson does it can't touch Indian motorcycles. No matter how you look at it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@thomasreyes2857 Not sure why you say that? Kudos to Polaris for what it has done with the Indian brand (not to mention BMW w/R-18 too) and how they reposition the Indian as a direct competitor to America's oldest continuous motorcyclist manufacturer. As Chase said in the video, you decide how you spend your money. Because Polaris saw how well H-D was performing, they created the Victory line of bikes. And when Polaris had the chance to incorporate the legendary Indian moniker, they stepped-up and invested in some heritage to better go head-to-head against the Motor Company. H-D stepped up & responded to this new competition and we the riding consumers are the beneficiaries of this free enterprise competition.
Amazing landscape, great video, great colors!
That's a good looking bagger. Congrats on getting to take a fun trip, Case
I wish it had the stretched bags still
Looks great, appreciate how thorough you are. Please, news a CVO SG Review.
I dont even have my license yet. I went to look at a 2016 Street Glide CVO and walked out with a 2024 Street Glide - stage 1... wont be riding til July but cant wait! Your review reaffirms my choice!
Just purchased a 24 Street Glide. I agree it is a great bike.
Street Glide looks goods, but the Road Glide fits better with handlebar setup.
that cluster is pretty wild
Im currently riding a Zx10R but im gone get me a Street Glide. I love these bikes.
Nice video review. Looked like a blast.
I recently purchased the 2024 street glide sharkskin blue. It's truly an amazing bike, and very fun to ride!
Picked up a billiard grey one this morning, it was a toss up on it or the sharkskin blue!
That orange color is amazing and clean as possible. I would like to get my hands on one asap. How much hp does it have, are the grips and saddle heated as well?
Nice review. I love my 2023.5 CVO Street Glide.
Test rode one and ordered one the same day. Harley really picked up the pace with this bike
glad to see chrome making a comeback
It may not last as the E.U. and the Peoples Republic of California are set to band chrome as we know it!
I saw one today and was highly impressed. But I opened the saddle bags and the overspray was pretty much in my face. I wouldn’t want to see that every time I opened the bags. It was a white model and looked sort of like someone spray painted it and forgot to tape it off ? I’m talking about on the rim where the gasket would seat. Also just pushing very gently on the side of the bag when opened with one finger it bent in. I don’t know if all the bikes have always been like that but my other bikes always felt nice and strong when touching the sides of the bags. BUT!: I’ve never had a bike with bags that open on the top. All mine always opened on the sides and I’d have to slam them shut pretty hard as they aged. (Goldwings)
I love riding that loop.
Love the new gun storage under the gauges. 👍
I believe the proper nomenclature is G.U.N. as-in "Generous Underneath Nook" storage. LOL
LOL
I have a '23 fat bob in my stable, so I'm not a HD hater.
Everyone that HD hand selected to test the 'new' HD is calling it the GOAT.
Either the '24 is that great compared to other bikes, or?
Hard to get an unbiased opinion these days
@@fabiors10 Well, HD hand picks the "HD Suck Ups", flies them out to a beautiful place, puts them up a nice hotel, wines and dines them, so even a non-HD type would say it's the best-est bike, ever.
Who would actually say $40-55K is way too much to pay for ANY motorcycle, since they want to do it again? Some reviewers apologize for nit-picking bikes, because everything else about the bikes are so great.
I use HD Suck Ups as a term of endearment.
Well there ya go. HDs don't make great race bikes. In other news, studies show that chainsaws don't make the best steak knives either. Funny though, when ridden for what they were designed to do i.e. go places at or below 150% of posted speed limits, they work really great. Nice to see that people w/o face tattoos are discovering this ancient secret too.
I thought brembo already made the brakes for hd. Just no label
That's what he said in the video.
I got a Brembo set-up on my 2006 Ural.
you are the best Kase.
I prefer the stretched bags look of the old specials. But my first bike will likely be an Indian Scout unless I find a deal on an old Street Glide special.
It seems like a nice bike and the scenery is killer.
Thanks great video!
Great looking bike
Street glide 4 ever , nice bike though maybe I'll upgrade but for now I'll. Stick to my 2023 street glide
HD has finally built a great motorcycle..
I think 2024 road glide is better choice than 2024 street glide.
The best for touring !
Over 100 years later...still air cooled..
Crank up the old AC!
I'm looking at 2 new bikes actually, Indian Chieftain Darkhorse Stag2 w/lots of goodies & wildly different HD Sportster 1250S. - Curious why you don't review Indian more? Is just bc they don't offer bikes to TFL? & We were beginning to think you were never coming back 😂like well⏳️ to find a new moto show. Cuz we like you& Alex's content obviously Brendan too but we ❤seeing u both the most! Missing see u both or 3
Just for kicks test ride a Goldwing, yes you will give up any chance to be conisdered cool, but you would walk away with the fastest best handling bike you have ever ridden.
great video
Amazing country, what a beast
2019 HD Ultra Limited owner, purchased new. I ride 18K + miles every year. Transmission oil transfer to the primary problem from day one. Engine oil sumping from day one. Low compression in front cylinder. It’s currently on the third go around to fix the oil transfer problem. It’s been sitting at the dealership for three months waiting on HD to decide how to fix their problem. and this is after working directly with the factory representative prior to dropping it off to be fixed.
For $31K+ ? And a motor company that tries to ignore their defects. Nobody should by this brand!
Why would I ever have another one?
Exactly why I switched to a Goldwing. Keep the Harley for show, ride the wing for go.
Thanks for sharing your experience although I got headache reading that. I hate you had to go through that really got me reconsidering get one now. Love the Street Glide but hear so many issues on it from riders.
@@memphisboi632 hey sorry for the late reply. Just noticed the message slipped through the cracks with everything else that goes on. Yeah it's a tough one. It's just honestly if you don't ride them very much, You're not gonna have a problem. In five years I put 50,000 miles on this bike, and that was because the last three years I was splitting the mileage with my other bike that I bought. The first two 2 1/2 years I put 18,000 miles a year on this bike riding into work riding on the weekends riding on vacation. I'm a retired motor officer and I still ride like a motor officer and I just don't think that they made it to go balls out in the mountains balls out on the freeway you know, really use the bike.
Check out Indian.
When’s TFL going to Sturgis 😬
Definitely don't like the dash just my opinion
Does not matters about the bags. Their not stratched bags. It's also about the looks
The only thing wrong with it is that it's not a Road Glide.
🔥It's Kase🔥
Beautiful bike, but my late model Road Glide Special just took a $4,000 hit to it’s trade in value so I will have to pass. By the way, I wish the MoCo would make steady improvements to their junk engine internals and strive to make the engine bulletproof.
They do, they are called “upgrades” 😂
I looked at the 23 and 24. I bought the 23. The number of buttons on the controls is out of control. The screen is nothing but a distraction that will kill you if you pay more attention to it than the road.
It's needs the stretch bags what happened there Hd ?
What color is that?!
How the hell do you see where your going with that dash is it not obstructed your view of the road
It looks like a Japanese bike now
I love the looks of the harleys, but they need a decked out carbon fiber edition. The weight reduction would sell like hot cakes.
It's a hybrid liquid cooled and air😂😂😂
Handlebars of the first things that gets changed on a bike like that. Go with some meat hooks 12 inches.
Another utuber said his broke down on I
1st trip and left him stranded. I guess it depends what mood the lazy union labor was in the day the bike was built. Lo!
Harley fell very short on the front and rear fenders. Rinky dink sizes on both ends. This is a touring bike. Rode it on a wet road for half an hour , ended up with water filled boot and wet pants up to my knees. Bike was a sloppy mess. Never had this happen before in 45 years of riding. Extra money for navigation , the windshield has to be replaced. They did not re-create the hammock seat for this year and the other touring seat is hard as a rock. This has a lot of bugs to get worked out. Harley needs to offer new proper sized front and rear fenders for anyone who wants them, free. Who the hell did the test riding on these?
Wait until you have an electrical malfunction.
How long till that fancy screen shits the bed? How much to replace it? How long will spares be available? And why does a twenty six THOUSAND dollar motorcycle have the same gas cap as a 2001 SV 650?
Funny how that applies to damned near all motorcycles, cars and trucks today....Believe it or not as far as electronics they are in the top few...As far as paint and chrome they may be at the top of the entire transportation industry and this is from a man who loves ALL makes.
Nice bike. All I need is a speedo to help reduce the number of speeding tickets. I do not need any of all that other BS.
Buy a Road King....The plastic windshield works great, you can remove it in 3 seconds....You can build it up to tour or strip it down in a flash and you aren't stuck with all the crap.
What is the fastest motorcycle in the world ? I need to buy it.
Production Kawasaki H2 R, 242 MPH
Looks like a Victory. Really ruined it.
Cool.
Nice bike, but as someone who has to do physical work for their money... 3 Japanese bikes > one harley for the same price.😅
I've been there. But I have three bikes already and can only ride one at a time. So I just picked up a 2020 road King standard, and save so much money that I can still afford another Japanese cruiser just with the money I saved.
To be fair a Japanese bike that is comparable, is the same price (the goldwing)
@@mcnuggetapple Bullseye on the Gold Wing reference. For me, I went out to pick up a six-pak and instead came home with a '98 Valkyrie! LoL
Or you can just buy a used (since they don't make 'em anymore) Yamaha Venture Transcontinental or Eluder which does everything the Road/Street Glide does at a good 1000 rpm less. Engine heat from it's 100% air-cooled motor is a bonus too!
@@nelsonphilip4520 Yamaha still makes the Vulcan 1700 which starts at 19,000!!!
Looks like a Polaris and doesnt sound like a Harley. Oh boy, and nice and cheap to buy lol. No more gauges, an ALL led screen....terrible. Very Tron looking now.
Looks like a polaris actually is a compliment to Harley.
Okay grandpa
In other words you cant afford one
@@calvinmahoney1188 Could, but wont. These bikes are so out of line in regards to price its nuts. I guess you have one...I hear that next years model comes with a Latte maker...you will have to trade yours in.
I like it
Harley’s are way over priced and ROI is no where near a gold wing or Voyager. Just sold this and got a used voyager for a fraction of the price. Rides way better and smoother than a Harley
Tested one of this. Bought a Goldwing, no regrets so far…🤷🏻♂️ overall, the ST is just an outdated bike, imho.
What did your husband end up getting?
We pay almost 40k USD in India for a Fatboy 114 🤣🤣
Never touch a HD. Their image puts me off.
They are a Clothing company that sells a dream.
Honda?
Dude it’s nev-ad-a not nev- ahd-a
Gold 🪽…
I've been anti Harley because of a dickhead family member but damn, that's a fantastic looking bike and I would def own it if I had the space and extra money!
Imagine letting one person determining an outcome of your life limiting what you can be open to. 😂
What in the hell does a family member have to do with your opinion on a motorcycle? Have you ever rode one? WTF bro.
Does it come in rainbow woke.
Aw the little snowflake
Bike looks great. Looks like the bike indian was trying to make, but indian used cheap plastic and cheap looking materials
Why not liquid cooled? HD needs to get out of here dark ages.
That’s a joke 😂
👎 liquid cooled
👎 digital gauges
Liquid cooling… booooo
The bike is ugly the mirrors stick out now the rear fender is short front fender looks tiny stupid led lights in front cowl 🤮
To top it off the front and rear fenders don’t even keep the water off the rider or the bike
Drive The Best Drive Indian and not Harley
Wrong far from it Indian Roadmaster 116 thunderstroke.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ugh
Looks nothing like a motorcycle. Ghastly
HD is not what I would hope for...had one...sold it...bought a K1600B and have never looked back. BMW is far superior to the HD - in my opinion.
bags are frickin ugly and rear fender is way to high look like their trying to take a page out of Japanese bikes build dont like it
Junk
Typical overpriced, overhyped, Harley junk.
Just get a car.
Meh. Indian is still a better bike.
The price on them is insane, tho
Big wheel motorcycle
As a former victory owner, they will never get a dime from me.
Are you going to mention the recall?
