    With this new series, I have also just released a new update so be sure to re-download. Some of the changes I show in this video (& upcoming ones) are brand new, even though a lot of the stuff I’m showing has been in the mod for a while.

    Absolutely fantastic mod, World at War will forever be one of my favorite CoD games, and I'm hoping to get a gaming PC in the future. This mod looks like good fun, and I would really like to see it become more popular!
    I absolutely adore how Cinematic Mode looks, but I personally would prefer if using it with the HUD at the same time was available. (Or maybe I'm just dumb, I don't know. It's late for me.)
    Love the addition of weapons that were only available in the Campaign and Multiplayer as well!

      Thanks! Don't worry, you can use it with the HUD enabled. I just forgot to show me turning off the HUD in Game Options. Will be posting an episode on Weapons soon :)

    JB Shady, you're one of the reason why I prefer MUCH mods. You understand, how game options and a proper remaster should be made. While keeping the "juice". All type people can play without another type being sacrficied (#cold war or vanguard).

    Is the Wunderwaffe on Der riese fixed in this mod?

    The only thing I disliked about the DLC 1 mod is you patched the multy gun exploit involving Betty's, The reason that exploit wasn't broken in this map was because there is no PaP or infinite wonder weapon not to mention sprinters. I find myself playing the original unmoded version of this map often just for that fact.

      Verruckt is supposed to be hard, especially on solo, so allowing exploits defeats the purpose. There are many buffs that make this map easier: solo quick revive, double tap improves bullet damage, sticky zombies are disabled by default, molotovs are slightly buffed, theres new smoke grenades, you can mount MGs in the bar room that have unlimited ammo, so all together increase the odds of your survival in a fair way without needing to use bugs. But there are also nerfs to the player, they have to deal with another type of sprinter, and theres more zombies per round in solo. So both sides have been considered for a more balanced yet still very challenging experience.

    This is cool. Got an idea if you could add xbox 360 hud in the mod with the interactions showing the controller buttons.

      Thanks! Technically they can but controllers use a special binding with X as be both reload and interact, so it wont show up unless you mess with your controls, it's weird. Ive been trying to find a work around

      @@schiftyplayz4141 I forgot to reply but I ended up adding this, there's X on hintstrings and triangle arrows on the DPAD when the controller mode setting is enabled. Also have a patch for PS3 square logo instead of X

    Do you have a way to disable the "create online profile" thing every time I boot from the shortcuts? Sweet mod!

      1- Anything to do with profiles has to do with the original game launching and it gives useful information for if your profile loads successful or fails so I wouldn’t want to remove profile stuff. When I run the shortcuts on my end, it doesn’t ask me to create a profile. Perhaps you bought the game recently and so you’re facing the infamous profile bug because the game ran out of keys?
      2- The above could possibly explain why your settings are not saving. The game creates a config file for each profile so if you’re not signed into one properly it could not work. Or you set your config to read only.
      3- The button is executing the controller script look into your controls and you will see Xbox buttons are now mapped. remember to read the description of the setting, it says only Xbox controllers work natively. I have to use an extra program for my ps3 controller. It’s just how the game works

      @@twoblocksdown5464 Wtf, you are not understanding me. If i remove all the profiles menu it will just break the game for people who want to play online, you won’t be able to change your profile while in the mod that’s just dumb. Even if i do remove that it’s just the menu, the user interface part. You still are required to have a working profile behind the scenes to play online with steam players. I can’t just mod the game and make it so pirates can play with everyone else on steam servers, you need a legit game key. If you want to play the game for free online with the mod use plutonium like everyone else they have their own servers. Otherwise, if you’re using a pirated version my mod without pluto it will behave like every other mod or custom map does when using a pirated version. Aka.. it will still work in solo

    So is it possible to play your mod with custom maps? (Load the custom map from the mod option after launching the game from the shortcuts u added)

      Every custom map is also loaded as a mod so unfortunately you can't do this so easily unless you do a lot of manual editing and combining, when you launch a map it will then un-load my mod and load the custom map's mod. Also when you launch my shortcuts its the same as loading the mod from the mod list in game it just skips a step so you can get into the game faster

      It already kinda was, just with futuristic elements’n’stuff. Definitely possible, since it was supposed to be WaW map and the assets technically are in WaW.

      Anything can technically be ported, but it's not as easy as just converting a map file into waw format because it's much more complex. It's also not the best way to make a map because you need to do a jank work around like porting over geo converted as huge models, it's best to just make a map from scratch except with individual bo1 assets ported over, like the occasional model, effect, texture, etc to help make the map, and you could also rip the position of models to help with scale.     This mod is so awesome man. I am having one issue though. I cannot get the ray gun on nacht der untoten. I hit the box 60+ times in a row one game, I never got it and died. Is there something affecting the ray gun in the box on Nacht?

      That's some unfortunate luck, on Nacht & Verruckt the mystery box is 100% random but on Der Riese and Shi No Numa they increase wonder weapon odds, so perhaps you're used to those maps. Assuming you have 2 box weapons and molotovs, you have about a 4.5% chance of getting any specific weapon on Nacht, compared to the original 5%, so it's a bit worse in my mod but this is just because I added a couple of weapons to Nacht (such as the PPSh) which increases the weapon pool.

      @@themetapod Yes the LOD bias setting is in, it's under Texture Settings 1:54 😎However, I won't return the knife lunging setting, I decided to keep it perma-enabled now that I found a way to improve it to be like bo1. Without sticky zombies and with all my knife changes, it's much smoother you don't get stuck, it doesn't slow you down as much as it used to. You can still disable it in console if you want, set aim_automelee_range to 64. I did bring back the HUD setting in this update though

      @@JBShady I also came across two bugs in the last version of the mod: two times, the last dog of the hellhound round didn't drop a max ammo. Secondly, one time I downed with quick revive and I wasn't revived. It was similar to if not the campaign death animation, where you fall down and lie looking up at a ~45 degree angle. For more detail, I think I was killed by a dog on der riese for the last hit and I was hurt by my own splash damage from the wunderwaffe right before, the dog finished me off. again, thanks for reading and replying.

      @the metapod The max ammo glitch I just fixed I was being lazy about that one because its also in vanilla waw. The game thinks the dog is not in playable area. Also, for the wunderwaffe glitch I luckily fixed that already unless it’s something different. If you wanna help me out to make sure open the .iwd with winrar and open up zombiemode.gsc inside maps folder and search for “tesla_gun”, it should say the final damage is 90 but if it says 95 that was the cause of the bug. if not then it’s a new bug
