Yep! This video and the guy who posted the 1meg (HG) mod are like my benchmarks for Recto mods. When you buy a Rec, there’s a certain ROAR in its stock form that no other amp can do. The other mods I’ve heard sound great, they just don’t seem to really carry over that big, ripping, dry, wall-of-sound, Tyrannosaurus roar with it.
Great assessment! you're 100% on point. THAT's the Recto sound. It's so unique... When you can keep the good part of a recto and fix all the issues, it's hard to beat.
If I wanted to simulate something like this in a recto in the AxeFX, what should I look at modifying? I know you probably don't wanna give away your secrets, but any hints you can provide would be cool. Bright cap values, negative feedback, etc... I'm curious. Typically adding negative feedback tightens things up, right?
There’s still no negative feedback in the mod. To be honest, I re-shaped every gain stage in the amp. It’s pretty extensive. A lot going on. I actually prefer the mod without a bright cap at all. The mod has a 3 way. Off, small cap and larger cap.
Budda is similar to a Naylor circuit from what I recall. Unique circuits. Unfortunately I won’t have the availability to do any new models of amps currently. Pretty backed up with the current work load.
Man it’s tight and has that recto thing at the same time. Damn, sounds so good
Thanks so much. That’s what I was shooting for!
Dear lord that sounds amazing. I need one of those
Seriously
That thing has a super tight low end. Way to go, Jeremy! It's really cool to see you doing these. They've come out great. Great work as always!
Thank Blake !
Finally, a recto mod that doesn’t sound worse than stock! Great job 👏
Thanks!
Sounds awesome dude! I Just modded my Tremoverb a bit, will do more later once I recover from post op surgery pain but it already sounds great.
Thanks so much man!
They’re actually great mod platforms.
Great playing and amp
Straight amp and guitar tight Boogie!!! Well done J.

I need my Rev G modded like this. Take my money!

How does one procure such a mod? Cause DAMN that’s badass!
One sends amp to me and one gets a modded amp back!
@@groundzeroampworks780 oh snap! Yes sir!
Sounds like a Badlander
Never played one. But I hear they are much less gainy.
How do I get my 04 dual recto solo head modded by you guys?

Wish I still had my single recto for you to mod now. That amp was crap stock
I agree. This one in particular sounded really bad stock.
No boost?
No boost, straight in!
@@groundzeroampworks780 😱🤯
With this mod, can't use footswtic?? Seems like you put the knob at footswitch input.
footswitch jack is in the back
Yep, foot switch jack is fully functional and moved to back panel.
Cool!! Sounds awesome. Recto 80 + Marshall 20 like
@@bulletrider8893 that’s a good analysis!
